he says in the intro that this deck TYPE is the best in standard, not this deck in particular. and regardless, he doesn't give a crap about what anyone else says. just saying.

except that the ability fades with each flicker, and a new card is selected. kind of like mind control says "You control enchanted creature", but when it goes away you lose control of that creature. Same thing applies here. if Nevermore leaves the battlefield, it's effect does not stay in play either.

I don't know about nevermore, but yeah, the other 2 could do some damage. taking out some of the borderposts would definately be a setback. although it wouldn't do much to me creature-wise because I run a lot of singles.

random thought... if you wanted lots of lands, you could throw in spell book and treasure hunt. Treausre hunt allows you to draw cards from the top of your library until you draw a non-land card. it is only 1U to play. :)

yeah... had a deck that got him up to a 32/32 trampler in about 7 turns after he had been put into play, and again after he had been bounced.

as much as I hate eldrazi, I have always been fascinated by Spawnsire. he is a very unique card in a game of unique cards. I love seeing decks that make really good use of him. :) well done.

this is a deck based originally on not being vulnerable to landwalking, and making use of the fact that I have very little to no land out at any given time.

No problem. I have found those both to be very powerful cards, and it seemed like they would fit really well in here. :)

How many creatures does this usually get out at any given time? If it gets out a lot you could put in sigil of the nayan gods. Or, another good enchant aura would be kithkin armor. Put it on your gnarlid and it becomes unblockable.

also, I would go boar umbra over oakenform. same mana cost, same boost. but boar umbra also has totem armor. :)

well, I posted the deck as is, and not as it will be when I am done with it.

secondly, the anatomist fills a twofold role: it can can tap, and place -1/-1 counters on my opponents creatures, making aura gnarlid harder to block. the other thing it does is work with the wickerbough elder, so that I can use his ability multiple times. give him a counter, then I can take it off to destroy an artifact or enchantment.

I tried aura finesse in here, but I couldn't fit it in without taking away something that seemed more important. If I could fit it in then I most certainly would. and bear umbra... I just don't have any. but yeah, I woud love to have them in here as well.

thanks for the comments. :)

yeah, my casual group banned the pridemate because it was so powerful.

looking at it Iam not sure that would work actually. yes the galvanizers untap, but I don't think that you can infinitely tap and untap them while attacking. But, I could be wrong about that. My reasoning on this is that you attack and then tap your myrs. but then you add another ability to the stack to untap, then you tap again. But like I said before, I I might be wrong about that. however, you can use that cobmbo to creat infinite mana. :)

no problem. :) I like the orchard. very good card. I could think of a ton of ways to make the "drawback" very useful. :)

Random thought. Here. Since you have almost no colored permanents, you should put All Is Dust in here. It would be amazing!!!

Those are good suggestions, with one exception. Sol ring is a restricted card... :). You can only have a single copy in your deck.

I have to admit, that prickly boggart is one of my favorite cards of all time. :)

even though I hate allies, I still have a respect for them. I would say that you should drop the shieldmates and put in greypelt hunters instead. only 1 more to play, the don't have defender, and they do have trample, and they still get the counters like most allies do.

and since you have the ability to have a ton of mana with the druid, I might also say to (perhaps) add in strength of the tajuru. so that even your tokens can get gigantic.
