here is an ideal game turn 1- savannah, birds of paradise turn 2- taiga, llanowar elves and skyshroud elf turn 3- and land and any 2 or more creatures turn 4- tap out for at least 8 mana, then lay vitalize, then titanic ultimatum and attack for the win, boom

this deck is way too slow for a burn deck
my sharp soulknige is right, in a dragosntorm deck you should have a max of 8 dragons. 4 hellkites for the optimal 20 damage win, and i like to run 4 hellkite overlords. they r expensive to get ahold of but 3 of them is a 21 damage haste attack for the win, so incase you can only storm 2ce its still a win condition on that turn. i deffinately like crystal ball in here, another option would be sensui's divining top. its a fantastic turn 1 play in a deck liek this. but your biggest problem is protecting that dragonstom spell from countering. in a mono red dragonstorm its absolutely essential that you have 2 copies of Boseiju, Who Shelters All.....this will make sure that our storm comes off smoothly and is an acceptable replacement for the blue counter protection. im not that big a fan of crimson whisps. if you remake the dragons then you wont need it.

the discard is there to get rid of the cards they will use to smash korlash, its essentially a counter spell

i love a quick sliver deck, i use aluren and glimpse of nature to completely dominate the field, check my fast sliver deck, terranaut tirade
those will fuck any deck, thats y this deck has other possibilities and win conditions. it doesnt need the combo to win, with the added draw power and ramp ability of the allys a few paths or o rings wont stop it

i definitely c a resemblance between the god of war kenpatchi and korlash. i like this deck as well. personally i would run duress or thoughseize over vampiric link, but thats just me

it will work well against other types of decks too, but combo decks, especially fast ones that give up protection for speed, wont stand a chance
