its not apropriate for any deck. its a 2/7 for 6 mana with a very weak ability. it REALLY wants to be Sublime Archangel, but it just cant be. its not good. the ONLY place I could see it being DECENT is as a target for reanimation, and even then, I would rather run 15 better creatures for that role. disliking my comments doesnt make it a better card. Dont be mad at me for telling the truth lol. To be CLEAR: I dont think this is a bad DECK. I think the deck needs to run 4 Invisible Stalkers and 0 Pontiff of Blight. also, if you run Invisible Stalker, you can drop Artful Dodge, opening up 4 cardslots for Aetherize, to wipe their attackers out and your weaker creatures dont have to block

I dont run things like this usually at gamedays..I won ours with my Bant Hexproof Auras deck. Yay Playmat! :) ill check it out. i like fun decks
6 drop is too expensive, and quite frankly not worth removing some fog effects for. I do love the mimic though, im working something to get him some play lol. thanks for the tip

yeah. it must be great....thats why its a 39 cent rare, right? there isnt enough mana ramp, or mana for that matter, in this deck to make a 6 drop with additional mana cost abilities a viable option against ANYTHING in standard currently. Playing Pontiff of Blight is playing bad Magic
pretty solid decklist man. there havent been too many posted today that have intrigued me. are you actually building this for play? if so, can you let us know how it runs against the Bant hexproof and other top decks in the current metagame? the only thing I might add is Rancor to give Ooze token trample.
add Vexing Devil and Slumbering Dragon. youre not abusing Varolz's Scaveng ability to the fullest without them
Why would you run TOrmented Soul over Invisible Stalker? seems bad. Also, Pontiff of Blight is TERRIBLE. its like a retarded Sublime Archangel whos ability doesnt stack, making it more expensive than its worth.
Riot Control and Druids Deliverance do not prevent damage to Jace, only to YOU, making Clinging Mist, Hindervines, and Terrifying Presence are all better options, as they prevent all combat damage (vines and presence have additional things, but not too bad)
