looks like a turbofog shell. I would run something other than Advent as your win condition though, with so few creatures, it makes a very easy target for removal that your opponent is just stockpiling. I have a turbofog decklist on my page if you want ideas. its moderately successful.

there is something sickly satisfying about watching them discard a bunch of stuff when you overload a rift in their endstep..lol

its OK, I was just making sure. some people think that the abilities stack, like Slivers.

Cyclonic Rift overloaded hits their entire board hard, whether theyre attacking or not. Aetherize is probably the best to sideboard, though, because a 7 drop can really hurt your mana curve.

I'm sorry, but your deck description is a bit confusing to me. Do you intend to attempt to soulbond ALL of your creatures together so they ALL have ALL the abilities? If so, you can't. each creature may only be soulbonded with one other creature.

feel free to ignore this if it was not your intent, however, that is how I read your deck description.

I think Cyclonic Rift would be more useful. or Aetherize, but that doesnt bounce plainswalkers and enchants.

I usually do the same, I was actually unfamiliar with the combo, and hap-hazardly threw my Niv deck together for play one morning, and topdecked Curiosity with niv on board in a game I was losing bad and just looked at the guy and said "I win, questionmark?"

not really. Im gainfully employed, and this if one of my few hobbies. I usually buy a case, but this was a small set, and I felt I would be able to fill out most of my playsets with 4 boxes.

removing the Pridemage and bastion makes this standard...might be a good spot for a thragtusk or two..

unfortunately, Jason, Beliefs dont always line up with reality. as I already stated, I got lucky. your group was average. I also stated I got 5 in 4 boxes, one being foil. I watched a guy open a pack worth nearly $250 when he opened it to find a Ral Zarek, a Foil Ral Zarek, and a Sacred Foundry. just because it didnt happen to you, doesnt mean it didnt happen.

not really, as Mythic they arent guarenteed, but I got lucky and got a foil and a regular in one box, a regular in each of the other three and I got the other two at prerelease

from the 4 boxes I opened.

Curiosity is an insta-win with the Firemind. you should put him in the sideboard so people know which one youre using.
