Interesting concept for sure. It is fun to make your opponent choose between two sucky things with every card you play. Particularly when you can use them multiple times, like desecration demon or barbarian bully. Lol... I draw out you take damage. You sacrifice our pay life, out I get a larger creature. Very funny indeed.

That being said, I have been wondering... Why do you run 61 cards in every deck?

Wish it was cheaper. I would actually own more of the decks I design here if that were the case.

Sometimes you can only build a deck piece by piece here and there. Spending money on one or two cards at a time when you can.

LOL... I like the idea. In fact I put together a second wind deck a while back, though this is pretty different from mine.

What I find rather funny here is that you seem to miss something about second wind. It is a one card infinite combo.
Find ways to use that and break it! :)

Kazandu Blademaster is interesting but at WW it might be asking a little too much for an opening piece here, particularly since it would vie for a position with halimar excavator, which is kind of the core of the deck.
I like Hada Freeblade as a turn one card, which Blademaster can't do.

Now It could replace Talus Paladin instead, as he is the most expensive creature in the deck, and that might make sense to reduce the mana curve.

indeed. codex shredder is an excellent idea. probably a little faster, and a littler harder to get rid of, at least initially. Also, Altar is a fun card, but I don't know if I can get the most out of it here, particularly since this isn't a mill deck in the traditional sense.

I love Hedron Crab. but I am not sure how well it fits here because I run low on lands and may not get a land drop often enough to be useful, because I have no mana ramping as well.

a good ruler also needs a way to silence naysayers... quietly... so royal assassin?
