OK. So... Let me get this straight.
Pitiless plunderer, a defiant salvager or yahenni, an oathsworn vampire, and a bontu's monument.

Cast oathsworn (drain1 life), Sacrifice oathsworn, get treasure, repeat for infinite life drain.

Am I missing anything?

EDIT: missed monument's other ability. Reduces black costs. So you only need 1 plunderer, not 2.

Very cool deck. :)

Yes and no. The important thing for the combo is it gives indestructible to the Forerunner, which keeps the damage flowing. It also gives indestructible to everything else you have out when it resolves, so if you have any raptors out they get the buffs. But any put out after that are not affected by it. So not everything.
And yes, your raptors will eventually die from damage, but only after producing 5 new raptors each. Not a bad trade in my opinion.

It makes forerunner of the empire indestructible.
It works like this: every time a raptor enters the battlefield, you can have Forerunner hit everything for 1 damage, including itself. So you can only do it 3 or so times before it dies. But with Heroic intervention making it indestructible you can have Forerunner do as much damage as you want because it can't cure from damage. Hence, infinite raptors. Or rather, it ends with an arbitrary number that you want.

This is also one of my favorite decks, because it is so strange.

yeah, still like this deck. would love to see this in action. just bounce a ton of stuff and make them sacrifice a ton of things every turn... and they can't pay to prevent it because of city of solitude... lol... :)

in retrospect, I apologize for 95 percent of my previous posts on this deck.

I see. Interesting... Gimmicky decks can be fun. :)
I have a few decks that could be considered "gimmicky". Care to check them out?

I was looking at edh decks, and I saw this. I don't play edh really, but want to get some deck ideas. I didn't mean to be antagonistic. I have an people on here genuinely have no clue about deck building, and I like to help them out if they are willing to listen. But it sounds like you know what you are doing. :)

Question. Why are you the self - crowned king of gimmicks?

You could run heroic intervention here. Which allows for infinite raptors...

As interesting and hilarious as this deck is... Why did it get pulled to the hot page? Nobody had commented on it in years, other than myself. Either way... Great deck. Super funny. :)

But, what if OP is secretly Hilary Clinton? And the collusion with Urborg is real?

I thought OP listened very well. just dismissed everything as invalid because it didn't fit their alternative facts.

looks super fun though.
