Yeah, I don't really play commander. But if I did. I would totally play a deck like this.

That is hilarious.
You could fit overrun in here very easily I think.Solid looking Stompy deck.
hmm... I suppose that depends on what you want to do. you want your burn spells to be based on how many cards you have in your hand, right?you could play scent of cinder, cinder seer, spiraling embers, fateful showdown.those are what I see that fit that theme.
no problems.
no. it doesn't. what valakut looks for is the land subtype: mountain. so in the middle of the card where is says land, a mountain isn't just a land that adds red mana, but where it actually states mountain in that middle area.
yeah, I might look at blessing. certainly a favorite of mine for protection spells. hadn't thought much about removal. will at least put in the sideboard.
hmm... not a bad idea. while they don't do much on its own they are a very good heroic enabler if you have a lot of heroic creatures out they seem pretty good, for a single activation. I might look into it. I suppose that I was looking at how to maximize the output from a single creature.but I will certainly look into it.
looks pretty good. I am curious to see how much you will actually be drawing here. very cool deck.if you are going to run open fire in your sideboard, you should use lightning bolt or lightning strike instead. just better overall.also, you should swap out cascade bluffs for something like steam vents. because it counts towards your valakut being able to deal damage.
a burn deck is about as simple as you get. most of the time it is mono red, so only red cards. and you use very few (if any) creatures. cheap cards that do damage directly to a player. the classic example of this being lightning bolt. instant speed, 1 red mana, and it deals 3 damage to target creature or player. lots of cards like that. simple, effective, and usually very fast.so only a few creatures, and lots of instants and sorceries.
about the closest thing you can get to banefire or even fireball is kearvek's torch.
What does it do?
you might look into putting reliquary tower or spellbook in here as backup for graceful adept.
Might get*. Stupid autocorrect! Lol...
This looks rather fun to play. I not get a R/G version of this deck.
Also turns bounce plans into real ramp.
hmm... it does some good work, just in a different way. it turns off man lands, it turns off utility lands, and those lands that don't create mana become completely dead, instead of being mountains and still usable. in this case, it works for tron rather than against tron.I think that rather than mana hate it is utility land hate. but it also allows for some interesting interactions offensively rather than defensively. like lands that normally come in tapped, don't. and the bounce lands that tap for 2 mana, don't bounce, allowing for faster ramp. so... blood sun is an odd duck card for sure.
Ooo... I didn't know brindle shoat had a common printing. wish they put it on paper, not just mtgo. very cool still.
this deck is hilarious. super fun looking.
Should put Training Grounds in here.
