This is a pretty cool deck. I love the interactions it has.
Great use of zhur-taa Druid. Burns and adds the mana needed to untap itself with freed from the real art the same time. Very cool.
sadly that doesn't work either, as it is already on the battlefield, so it doesn't get the triggers to put out the cats.it does still pump your cats.I think the best things to copy here are probably anointed procession, oketra's monument or your pump enchantments.but I think this looks like a pretty fun deck. :)
hm... I don't think that works that way. the mirror doesn't make any tokens, it just takes the characteristics of the thing it copies. so copying anointed procession would be pretty sweet. :)also, there are special rules for legendary type permanents. the easiest way to say it is that you can only have 1 legion's landing out at a time, and you have to sacrifice any more than that if you try to put out more, even in the form of the mirror here...
very well designed deck.I like anointed procession with embalm. great synergy you have here. very cool.great turn 1 play with legion's landing, and good use of token pumps via leyline of the meek. (might include something like intangible virtue as well...?) overall great looking deck.I see two easily fixed problems:forbidden orchard doesn't help you here, since it puts out tokens under your opponent's control.and as of right now you have no equipment cards for Kemba, Kha Regent to make use of. so if you fix those, this deck should work very well.+1 from me. :)
Well... For this deck?Your removal could be changed for something cheaper.Since you aren't going for standard legality you could swap Dreadbore out for a cheaper card. For Terminate. Instant speed, but no longer hits planeswalkers. Or Ruinous Path, or Never/to/Return. Hits both like Dreadbore, but is 1BB to cast. Also way less money. Or even I guess To the Slaughter, though it doesn't target. Usually not an issue against planeswalkers though...The other card I see as really increasing your price is borrowed hostility, which you might be able to replace with something like Slaughter cry, or even better, sure strike. Also your lands are from the newest set, so even as basic lands Mtgvault.com puts them at bigger value. Realistically your basic lands should add nothing to your deck price.
OK. Yeah, it might make the deck flow a little worse I suppose. Mostly I feel it is... Not actively good or bad for the deck I guess. That being said. Any thoughts on the instants and sorceries?
well, I don't know if it would make it clunky. but it just doesn't add to what is already here. there are certainly good decks based around valakut. really good decks in fact.I guess that it wouldn't make it any worse to have here. But I am not sure if it would make it.... better, if that makes sense.
interesting idea. although my problem with valakut here is that it really needs to built around, (Scapeshift ) and lots of mountains. I don't feel this deck really does either of those things. particularly since valakut itself doesn't count as a mountain. so it is ok, but not great in this deck.my purpose in adding evolving wilds, as well as scalding tarn, is to thin my deck and be less likely hit lands with Epic Experiment. or rather I am more likely to hit instants and sorceries.
Yeah. Initially I thought : let's put tons of high cost spells, but then I realized that wouldn't work so well. Went for a little more streamlined mana curve.
Would be funny to see something like furystoke giant in here.
that would do it.
lol... put that with curse of death's hold.you simply have no creatures. ever.and curse of thirst should be a quick win.
all the curses!!! lol...
sadly there are no cards similar to vent sentinel. Doorkeeper is about as close as you get I think, with a mill deck, but that is blue so... yeah.I would love for there to be another, but it just doesn't exist.
Indeed. That is pretty sweet. Some of the epic spells are petty terrible. But this one is really good.
very interesting concept. i like how torment just feeds itself every turn, making itself more powerful every turn. lol.
honestly, if you were to do something like that I would suggest myr propagator instead of myrsmith, which simply gives you infinite tokens in this deck.
I think that you should swap aura finesse because you have no legal targets for it. so you can't draw a card with it either..
