I would be interested in how that may turn out.

not a bad suggestion at all to run 3 of both in sideboard.
I figured that with abrade that even when not facing art heavy decks the creature removal was still fairly usable. I am rather fond of multi-purpose cards like that.

Smash to smithereens punishes them for playing artifacts with a bolt to the face as well as killing their artifact. either would be a fine choice I think.

@ Drakeraenes
while shatter is good, I think either Abrade or Smash to smithereens would be better.

looks to be an app that you can make custom forums. in this case, mtgvault denizen have created one for deck building etc.

I think you might be better served by more counter and removal cards.

Here is how I built a deck around compost.

Interesting. Depending on who has drawn more you either win by maniac our by milling out your opponent. Hmmm. I like this. Although I think that lorescale and psychosis crawler are a bit of fluff. I think the are better cards for this deck than those. Although I do get that psychosis crawler is another win condition it seems like a win more card that doesn't actually add any value.

That being said, most things are weak to counter spells I think. I might put in a couple of elixir of immorality for that and removal.

@tobybox
yeah, I am familiar with how immortal coil decks work. (in this case bazaar trader + Coils +crypt or bog.)
but I am not sure about is the rest of the deck.

I think there are better cards than the search he has here.

also, as far as I am aware he doesn't have to deal any damage for immortal coil's last ability. it merely gets triggered whenever the opponent has no cards in his graveyard.

that being said, some burn spells wouldn't be amiss here.

When Zendikar was printed, I got a few vent Sentinels and overgrown battlements in a fat pack., and I really liked them. Originally this deck was completely different, and had things like Guard Duty, Wall of Denial, battle rampart, ogre sentry, and warmonger's chariot. but having blue mana in here slowed it down too much.

I added axebane when it came out, to further the ramp aspect of the deck, and it kind of grew from there.
