Shock lands are good, buy they don't accelerate the about of land you have. They just make sure that you have the right color. :) mystic elves are good. Birds of paradise would be good as well.

ok, that is fine. :) I was just curious. so, what is the goal here? you said it was to get out Xenogos , right?
what are your major targets for his ability?

*thinks he is being avoided...*
I really do think that this is an interesting deck, which is strange because I don't like straight up life gain decks. My only real issue here is that you have lots o mana heavy cards, and those tend to be to slow to work well, or unplayable. particularly for white, because it really doesn't have much mana ramp, which you have none of here, no mana producing creatures, no search cards that aren't themselves fairly expensive (and multicolored). it just seems very slow. but what do I know. I don't play much life gain. :(

personally I would say to take rest for the weary over heroes reunion. but that is my opinion. 1W t ocast, gain 4 life, if you had landfall that turn you gain 8 life instead. but both cards are good. :)

well, you already have rhox faithmender, so do you really need boon reflection? it is a bit expensive at 5 mana when you already have a creature that does the same thing. felidar umbra is useful, particularly because you can swap it between different creatures.

hyena umbra is fantastic, but I think that (as suggested above) ethereal armor is way better. so perhaps swap those? unless you have it in here strictly for the Totem armor, and protection that it gives. in which case... then I would suggest upping the number of hyena umbras that you have, and dropping the most expensive stuff like (and I hate saying this) celestial mantle. just too expensive. 6 mana, and it isn't a game winning card, because your goal isn't really to deal damage with this deck, or to even attack with it.

collective blessing is good, but again it is really expensive. I played with a selesnya populate deck and had... 2 (I think) in it, but I rarely got them out because of the mana cost. that is another one to think about dropping.

Rancor: Now normally I would say to run as many of these as you can. but again, the goal of this deck isn't really to beat your opponent by attacking them. it doesn't gain you life or draw you cards so... yeah... :(

in fact, most of your enchantments don't gain you life or draw for you.

I would suggest trying to find some other cheap enchantments to do either of those , and they would suit this deck better than most of what you have in the main board. at least that's my opinion. not that you have BAD cards in here, they just seem to be a bit... contradictory? perhaps?

Like I said,I don't think it would fit. But it reminds me of decks that it could go into.

Wow. So many auras... * thinks of aura Gnarlid.*. But it would fit here I don't think. This is a good looking deck though. :)

ok, so my first question is: do you actually own this deck? and second, did you plan on trying to keep it standard?

tokens huh. intangible virtue would go very well in here. gives your tokens +1/+1 and vigilance. for only 2 mana. :)

or also since there is a lot of enchantment hate right now, you could replace cathar's crusade with Door of destinies?

yeah, I was going to say redirect as well, because it seemed a bit out of place other than as makeshift defense. speaking of which... spellskite could be an interesting SB card I think. super good defensive card.

oh, and you still have a mana drain in the sideboard. :)

oh.... the mighty mana drain... well... the question is though, how useful is the extra colorless mana?

I think that either Daze or flusterstorm would be better.

Well... It is 11 total to pay for the mirror and the overload. But yeah, totally worth it if you can get the mana. :) and multiple mirrors for multiple spells as well. :) way cool.

Ah. I guess that makes sense. Sweet. :). Although that is a bit pricey mana-wise isn't it?
