agreed. I have seen a couple of creatures with it recently, but not too much. people like the normal pump or fire breathing instead. and don't like the -1 aspect of it I guess. but it could make for some interesting decks I bet.

If it had done that, I would have been all over it. but, flowstone blade is pretty similar. :)

true, but it taps and so I can only do it once per turn. mana isn't a problem, just the limit on number of uses per turn... unless I am reading it wrong? I will look again.

cool, I will look at it. also, flowstone embrace is good, but I think that flowstone blade might fit better. which I wouldn't have seen if you hadn't suggested Embrace. :)

actually I think that the cards that you have in here right now are better, even though they don't allow your creature to become unblockable, they do prevent it from being killed in combat, and inviolability takes away the threat of burn cards as well.

actually, that is the exact effect that I want from bearer. It destroys everything on the field, which in turn brings back my exiled creatures. leaving my opponent wide open, because he has no lands or creatures to block with.

interesting... I might just run both, for consistency. :)
although I have to say that I don't like safe haven as much because I have to sacrifice it for my creatures to come back, where as the coffin just has to either untap or leave the battlefield. On the other hand, it is way cheaper to use, seeing as how it is only 2 mana, and I can reuse the same card for multiple targets, which is a plus.

Isn't there a card that copies activated abilities?

ok, I hate to be THAT guy... but I need some help on a deck. I was looking for a card for someone's infinite elf deck, and came across a card called Tawnos's coffin, and thought that I could do something with it and Bearer of The Heavens. my problem is that I want good creatures to exile, but I have no clue what to put in.

if anyone could help, that would be awesome.

I will have to look at the official ruling, because even though the text stayed the same, I think that it got erratad and now means the same thing as life link.

very interesting... although the ivy lane denizen doesn't actually remove the counters... it does make the combo work. pretty cool. :) hm... I wonder if there is a way to remove the -1/-1 counters aside from just buffing the druid with +1/+1 counters. (not that this is bad, just curious.) I am going to have to look into it.
oh, and flourishing defenses would go well in here. :)

flyers ARE good, which is why I have the zephyr sprite, and later on ghostly possession on... pretty much anything.

Oh Ok... Wasn't looking for that but sure. :). I just wanted to explain where I came to with the idea. But the deck is called Hurry up and wait, if you did want to look at it.

interesting... but what would you put it on? there is already 2 creatures that can pretty much block everything. I guess it would help with burn?

another fantastic card that you could put in here would be Scute Mob. 1/1 for G, at the beginning of your upkeep if you have at least 5 lands, you put 4 +1/+1 counters on Scute Mob.

I designed a deck fairly recently that revolves around azur elecutors, so I put in the palace guard and ghostly possession. Works crazy good at defending yourself. And making people really mad. :)
