I liked Cruncher's comment. I have been here typing/thinking for an hour on what cards I would add to this deck. Me and Cruncher agrees on two cards: Kiln Fiend and Nivix Cyclops.

Very nice! Like the low spells with Lavamancer. I have never used the card in a deck, but I imagine this is how you would do it successfully.

Browbeat and Reforge the Soul (didn't know about Reforge the Soul, good stuff!) keep you with cards in your hands. That was absolutely necessary for the deck to work.

Your mana curve is perfect too. Play all of your cheap spells very quickly. Build up your Graveyard. Then nuke your graveyard with Mancer.

Too bad the deck is Modern. Fireblast and Chain Lightning would be killer in this deck!

Only card I am having trouble with is Seismic Assault. I see it's purpose. It combos with Mancer. Plus, late game, you have extra land cards in your hand that you will not need, considering your mana curve is so low. It totally works. But for some reason I do not like Seismic Assault. Makes me look like a Novice when I do not like cards like Bottomless Pit and Seismic Assault.

Good job!

Very nice. I liked your deck. I would put 4 copies of another creature. If someone takes out Dragonnauts...then you are toast. If they would Surgical Extract your Dragonnaut, you would lose. I would simply add in another creature in which you can use all of your pump up cards on.

Mutagenic Growth is new to me. It rocks!

Maybe add Blister Weird. He gets +1/+1 for each instant or sorcery.
Fluxcharger also works really nice, he becomes a 8/4 with a Brute Force with flying.
Gelectrode would work really well. Tap him to do one damage. Use a Brute Force on Dragonnauts, untap Gelectrode, tap him again for another one damage. He could work.
Nivix Cyclops would work.
Guttersnipe/young pyromancer...everyone uses those.

Kiln Fiend would be my pick. A 1/2 creature for 1 colorless and 1 red mana. He gets +3/+0 whenever you cast an instant or sorcery (until the end of the turn). So, play him on your second turn. Third turn play a Brute force, and you now have a 7/5 creature attacking. Not too bad.

Not sure why you are running Pact of Negation. They are usually ran with combo decks like Tendrils. I might take them out for some cheaper counters. Better yet, take them out and add 4 Rancor. Trample with this deck would be awesome! Add in a Rancor to the example above with Kiln Fiend, on the third turn play a Brute Force and Rancor, you now have a 9/5 with trample attacking on the 3rd turn. All extra damage would carry over. It is worth a thought.

Good deck.

Oh crap, you are right, I didn't see the extra mana cost on Words of War. My Bad. My example would not work, my bad. Sometimes i fail to read all the cards fine print. lol.

Here is what I see could help. Make it more red heavy. You have 11 white cards and only 2 red Cards. Cards like Reverberate to copy spells would be nice. Lighting bolt for Scepter. Here me out, I think this would be a killer and quick red/blue deck, running white only for Silence.

Add:
3 Brainstorm. You want 4 copies of this in your deck. With Words of War in play, Brainstorm does 6 damage for 1 blue mana. That is awesome!

4 Burning Inquiry. Same as Brainstorm. With Words of War in play, it does 6 damage for 1 red mana.

Add Lighting Bolts and Reverberate (I would only run 8 counterspell cards, I mean, you have Scepter to copy one of them if need be. 14 counterspell cards is too many).

Dream hand for me would be:.. 1st turn Lightning bolt for 3 damage. 2nd turn. Mana Leak (Mana leak is awesome in multicolor, Good job) their crap. 3rd turn Words of War. 4th turn. I would play these cards (considering a perfect world where I played 3 mountains and 1 island during my 4 turns). Brainstorm. Burning Inquiry. Reverberate the Brainstorm. Your opponent was at 17 life and just received 18 damage on turn 4! Game over.

And why run only 2 Words of War if it is your win card? I would run 4.

I like your deck. Don't take my critique too roughly. I liked your deck. I just looked at it and it gave me ideas how Words of War would be very deadly in a Blue/Red deck.

Didn't want to ask advice before you bought all the cards?

Yep. It was just that, advice. Not criticism. I tried to determine what deck you would have trouble against. I thought you would have a tough fight against a fast creature deck. One good way to counter their threat would be something like Mutilate, Murder, Terror, etc.

Maybe this deck will get as many likes and comments as your last one! Good luck.

Looks decent.

Like the idea that you have a way to kill off Mortis dog, yourself. That was a good decision.

I like the idea of the draw spells. I would take out Dark Prophecy and add in another Sign in Blood Or Phyrexian Arena
Maybe add a search engine to get out Mortis dog faster, just in case your draw spells do not get you what you want. Maybe Diabolic Intent?

A weakness I see is that you need to run removal. Mutilate is awesome. Lashwrithe with Mutilate is nice together. It would kill off most of your opponents creatures and leave you, with luck, with only your pumped up creature still alive.

Why I say you need to run removal, like Mutilate (hint, hint) is because your deck (even with Dark Ritual/Sign In Blood) is slow to build up. A strong token or Goblin deck (another hint, hint, check out my goblin deck http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/goblin-death/) can have 10 or more creatures out on turn 5. You need to be able to disrupt your opponent.

Probably would take out the Ragers for 3 Mutilates, that would be my best advice.

All in all, good stuff. Liking it.

I like this deck. The draw spells like Orcish Librarian and Browbeat is nice.

I like 4 Chain Lightings in place of Skullscorch. It makes the deck faster, especially if Guttersnipe is in play. :)

Good job.

Yep, good point. There are decent decks that work with Caress/Megrim/Rack/Affliction. But i don't think this deck works well.

http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/help-discardbounce-2/

An old deck I built that was designed around cards like Caress. Regardless, his deck kills my discard deck. That has made me against Caress/Rack/Affliction.

I have built a pure burn deck for your discard deck! I am thinking sometime next week!

I bought 4 Mind Twist, expensive, and played against Magiccontroller's discard deck. What i found out is that Mind Twist is way too expensive and slow. By the time you have enough mana to use Mind Twist properly, the opponent is already out of cards. It was a waste of 20 bucks.

I do agree about Unnerve. It is the weakest card in the deck. I would put it in my sideboard for multiplayer games, and put in Hymn to Tourach.

And, you are right in that he might should consider creature removal spells.

Besides that, the deck is killer.

I disagree about cards like The Rack or Shrieking Affliction. Those cards are much slower than pure discards and Nihil Stone. And also disagree about Guiltfeeder...only because it is a second win condition in the deck. It makes the deck very consistent.

I like Entomb for this deck.

Love that you have Blue Zenith over Stroke of Genius in this version. Good stuff.

Ghitu Fire might work too.

Liking your deck!

Or Infinite 2/2 tokens into play. It would be fun to pyroclasm 8,000 2/2 creatures. Neat stuff.

He is doing pure cheese (much like my tendril deck he mentioned, and most other 1-3rd turn win decks); He is Using Animate Dead and Worldgorger Dragon.

He is putting his Dragon into the graveyard (via Buried Alive and other spells). Then Using Animate Dead on it. Evil. Infinite combo.

You have to stop the infinite loop, right? Play a Tutor? Then what Ambassador? Nuke their library with all of the hundreds of mana you would have?
