Thragtusk has awesome enter and leave battlefield affects. Acidic Slime's ETB is also cool. I run 4x Birds of Paradise and only 2x Avacyn's Pilgrim in my GW ETB deck. 4 mana creatures seemed a little slow, 8 seemed too many, 6 seems to work fine. If you want it ready for post rotation, 4x Avacyn's Pilgrim and 2x Arbor Elf (or 3 AP and 3 AE).

I sugest investing in some "fog" cards. Batwing Brume is my faveourite in this type of deck :) Also Stronghold Discipline could make for a nice finisher, but that could veer the deck in the direction of one of my decks (Strong Hold on Discipline).
The way Undead Achemist's ability is worded, any form of mill while he's out will exile the creatures and give you zombie tokens, not just 'mill damage' from zombies :) Wen I eventually get the cards for this so I can test it, I'll see how I can manipulate the numbers to get 2 more lands in (if I feal I need to).
Infernal Plunge can also help towards playing Worldfire, you'd lose that creature to Worldfire so why not get a use out of it :p
Burning Vengeance can make those flashback cards deal more damage, Secrets of the Dead allows a draw off each flashback and Altar of the Lost helps pay for Flashback. I'm not sure I like Arcane Melee, the casting cost is way too high for my liking. Additionally Past in Flames, though a cool card, costs too much without mana ramp spells to play additional spells after Past resolves. Also don't forget about Snapcaster Mage, he does grant flashback at a low cost.
I know what other loot cards there are, I'm just wondering if I do or do not need more than what I'm using. Remember Faithless Looting has Flashback, so it kind of counts as 8, not 4. Smelt is a definite 4 of in sideboard, when I get around to designing one *cough*Grafdigger's Cage*cough*.
Thank you for your suggestions, but I have reasons for what I've done. I used to play 20 lands a LOT with my other decks and found I was short 1 mana too often for my liking, so I tried 22 and it seems to be helping with that problem (it just works for me). A lot of people suggest dropping Rally, but I want to see how it runs before dropping it. I had considered Thatcher Revolt, but settled on Midnight Haunting because it produces fliers at instant speed and they don't kill themselves. Spear is 3 damage guaranteed at 2 mana, Volly requires a death for 5 and that death would normally be my creature (that I don't want to happen) and I don't have complete control over that in this deck. I don't see Wolf-Run being a viable deck post rotation as they lose key cards (Solemn, Titan, etc).
Or even an Eldrazi or two
I'd love to play EDH, but no one in my group is willing to :( I ignore the decks because I've got no experience of what the format is like :| I think I've got a Heartless Hidetsugu or two, I should use him sometime...
I'd probably only use this deck to prove a point - fish can be stupidly fast and evil :p
:P I'm actually surprised I came 2nd in Legacy, though 15 3/3's with trample on turn 3 that will attack on turn 4 is quite scary.
I normally ignore EDH decks here on the vault, but I must admit Heartless Hidetsugu makes an awesome general :) Have you thought of adding Overblaze (or similar) to make it so Hidetsugu can kill in one activation? All you need to do is make sure you're on an odd life total and the opponent is on even >:)
I soooo must show this to my friend, he played Merfolk in Lorwyn / Shadowmoor while I played elves. Back then our decks where equal, just depended on who got their lifegain out first :p But he stopped playing Magic for a while and I carried on, now my elf decks (both versions) obliterate his Merfolk. What I'm saying is thank you for a good fish build that I can (hopefully) convince my friend to update to / use ideas from :D
Paradox Haze is any Suspend deck's best friend.
That's actually an interesting idea. It costs 3, so I can play one of my many 1 drops turn 1, Bramblewood turn 2 and turn 3 tap both to Giant Baiting. Sadly I only own 2 Giant Baitings, so I can't test to see how it runs :(
When majority of your group says; "Oh no, not [deck type] again," then you're either annoying or have a good deck. I'm hoping my entry is the latter :p Latest version of my Elf Warrior deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=374497
That is true, but both Kokusho, the Evening Star and Bogardan Hellkite can kill the opponent on the turn they come in by affecting their lifetotal directly.
I was lucky enough to acquire a set from a player that quit Magic :) I run a full set of Kokusho + 2 Predator Dragons in my Dragonstorm deck. The devour on Predator comes in handy on the off chance I draw a Kokusho or two :p
I've been thinking of adding Hellriders, only problem I have is they cost 4 mana. I'll play around with numbers and see if I can fit some in. The avatar thing was done via the forums, but they've stopped doing it to concentrate on more important things. If I remember correctly, the next version of the Vault should have the option to change avatars.
I need a card to take the deck to 60 and Abundant Growth costs {G} and draws a card.
