Elves of Deep Shadow is very flavourful, but the life loss has always been a point that made me exclude it in my tournament decks...

It's my favourite 2 colours to put together :DThough this is technically just Green splash Black :/
Thanks for the comment. The reason I'm using 22 lands is that I've had problems more often than not while running 20 :|I got a set of Ezuri and am contemplating dropping the Gilt-Leaf Ambushs for them...
I think Ripscale Predator is too expensive. I'd swap it out for a set of Giant Growth. Also, try get your hands on Stomping Ground and / or Rootbound Crag. Gruul Guildgate is a nice filler in the meantime, but its 'enters the battlefield tapped' ability can and will hinder you.
Keymaster Rogue's bounce a creature affect could be counterproductive if the only creature you have is one with Ciphered cards...
There's a problem with this deck I'd like to point out, Geosurge's mana can only be used on creature and artifact spells, so you can't use its mana on any of the instant or sorcery spells that ramp up your mana.I have a Dragonstorm deck and I run a set of Kokusho, the Evening Star in addition to the Bogardan Hellkites. 4 Kokushos is all (if not, most) opponents dead in multiplayer and if the opponent(s) survive, you've gained at least 20 extra life :p
Killing wave, if played correctly, is a very nice black "wrath". Even if they chose to keep their creatures, the life they lose + your blood artist's affect could win you the game :)Don't take me the wrong way on my colour comment, that's just personal preference.
The biggest drawback of Immortal Servitude is that the only creatures returned are those with exactly [whatever you payed for X] casting cost, but you seem to have it down quite nicely. (Though I'm personally not fond of decks that run 3+ colours)
The one card I can suggest working in here is Curiosity. Curiosity + Guttersnipe = draw a card whenever you play an instant or sorcery :D
Biggest problem I see here is Ash Zealot's double red requirement. This deck is +- 65% white and you're only running basic lands. Mite I suggest getting a set of each of Clifftop Retreat and Sacred Foundry, they'll help a lot with your double mana requirement on Ash Zealot (and Silverblade Paladin, Fiend Hunter, Riders of Gavony). Lastly, Gore-House Chainwalker looks out of place, all your other humans have awesome abilities, all the Chainwalker has is the chance to be a 3/2 for 2 mana...
You'd think so, but due to the low mana cost and the quantity of 'lord' cards, this deck actually hits hard and fast.
Vampire Nighthawk + exalted triggers = awesome :DNighthawks shouldn't be difficult to obtain.
Well, there's a Standard legal Bant deck idea that uses the stalker, Ethereal Armor and Roncor (among other creatures and cheep enchantments). My idea is to suggest a Modern version that uses Finest Hour. Finest Hour is an enchantment, so it'll add another +1/+1 to Ethereal Armor's ability and it grants two attack phases. It's almost like a one-two-punch :p And if you add stuff like Ghostly Prison you get extra +1/+1 off Ethereal Armor and a good defense on yourself :)
You mite already know this Miles623, but I'll still point it out for those that don't:The mana you get from Braid of Fire can only be used in the upkeep as your mana pool is emptied at the end of the phase. This is probably the reason Miles623 chose X damage spells that are instant speed as instants are the only thing that can be played in the upkeep.
Ha ha ha. Painter Servant would be cool, problem is choosing what to replace it with. Without playtesting, I can't decide what does or does not work...
Exalted is an awesome mechanic and all you need is for one creature to get through. Invisible Stalker is the first creature that comes to mind, but there are other ways to get damage through, even if blocked, for this, Rancor comes to mind. This actually gives me an idea... an idea I must convey to my groups's blue players (I personally dislike playing blue)...Anyways, I can't really think of anything to help you other than telling tou to playtest to see what needs tweeking.
I got similar reactions to Cloudshift in my GW deck. Now my opponents play around it :DCloudshift is by far one of my favourite one drop white spells. In my GW deck, its vesitility is just too good to cut it. I use it to rebond my Silverblade Paladin or Wolfir Silverheart, save a creature from targeted removal, "remove" the +1/+1 counter from Strangleroot Geist so it can undie again, "untap" a creature so I can block. All of that for W and at instant speed, loving the card :pAs for the black in this deck, without Obzedat (who I assume was the insperation for this deck), it looks out of place...An enchantment that I've found works nicely in a flicker deck is Rancor. If you flicker the creature that Rancor is on, it goes back to your hand and because it only costs G, it's easy to replay :)
Mutagenic Growth?
You know what's missing? Guttersnipe :p
I'm assuming you're going for Modern legal here. If so, as of today (Friday 01 Febuary 2013) Seething Song is banned in Modern :'(Just thought I'd inform you.
