Nice idea. Here's a few lands you could consider:Cycling Lands:Barren MoorLonely SandbarPolluted MireRemote IsleMan Lands:Blinkmoth NexusInkmoth NexusCreeping Tar PitFaerie ConclaveMutavaultSpawning PoolZoetic CavernAdditionally, a single Worm Harvest could help get more out of the lands you'll be discarding to Zombie Infestation :pLastly, I'd like to suggest maybe adding a Reminisce?

Those I have. I'll give it a shot, thanks.
I'd rather not add cards that are going to phase out of Standard if I don't already have them, and I sadly don't own any Gravecrawlers :(Looking to get a set of Kalonian Tusker to see how it affects this deck.
Looks fairly good as is, just can't see why Leatherback Baloth and Plated Slagwurm are in here, they don't seem to add to the theme of the deck. I'd rather see cards like Drove of Elves and / or Elvish Promenade.
Wasn't looking to ramp up (BoP and Llanowar's 'normal' use), but rather looking for cheap creatures with combat evasion, hence the BoP's over Llanowar.
Other than Gisela, I'd rather not put in cards that cost more than 3 mana. Additionally, I only play Modern or Standard, so Gratuitous Violence is out.
T1- Nip GwyllionT2- 2x Edge of the Divinity on Nip Gwyllion, swing for 7 lifelinkT3+ ...Win?
Firstly, I'm new~ish to control, so my friend's been helping with this.Plate Mail. Has quite a few uses; you can equip one to another, you can equip it to a Mutavault, you can animate it, then. Animate any mutavaults to have more than one creature attacking. And both are immune to sorcery removal. Not to mention it's colourless, so I don't have to worry about what colour mana I use to cast it.
If they did, I'd have already gotten them :p
True, those work too, but I currently don't own any of those :(Furnace of Wrath and Curse of Bloodletting cost too much mana for my liking.Don't quite know the GiantFireshrieker only grants double strike, it doesn't double damage.
I prefer Ezuri, Renegade Leader over Overrun in my elf decks
Just to reiterate, the lens will only give mana to players who use the same land that you exile, so if you exile a swamp, only players using swamps will get the bonus mana. If you imprint a nonbasic land, it'll reduce the chances of the opponent gaining from the Lens, but Cabal Coffers isn't a land I'd imprint. On the down side, the lens sets you back a land drop, so if it gets removed from play, you've effectivly set yourself back a turn...
A permanent that acts as a sacrifice outlet mite work. Bubbling Cauldron comes to mind because I'm trying to help a friend with his Bogbrew Witch deck, but Blasting station could be another good outlet. Of course, cards like Bloodthrone Vampire would be a better sacrifice outlet as you can do it multiple times in one turn.
Been a while since I checked your decklist and this is the first thing I see? Me liky :D me liky so much I may just run my black lifedrain deck next time we play Modern :p (it's my Korlash deck, btw)
I really like looking at your decks, I very often get ideas just by going through your lists (some not even related to the deck I'm reading at the time). You using Curse of the Cabal here makes me want to try build a sacrifice deck in Modern (as I don't play Legacy).
I see you combo with Bloom Tender and Freed from the Real doesn't provide enough blue mana on its own for Blue Sun's Zenith. Blue Sun requires 3 blue mana and you're spending all the blue the Tender makes on Freed to untap it. I have a possible solution to this: Orochi Leafcaller. Leafcaller turns any green mana into any other colour you want. And if you're going to use Leafcallers, you mite as well use Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro. Sachi + Leafcaller + Freed is an infinite mana combo that produces any colour mana you want :p
You should consider cards like Exsanguinate to spend all that mana on. Maybe remove Extraplanar Lens for it? Lens does give mana to opponenrs playing with swamps.
I like. I'd also like to play against this with my Modern BW deck:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/strong-hold-on-discipline/:pI'd drop Honor of the Pure by 2 to raise Intangible Virtue by 2. This deck should have more token creatures than non token creatures, so Virtue seams a better option.
I'd try bumping up to 3 or 4 copies. It can make for a nice combat trick: attack with everything and Bioshift the counters over to the one that wasn't blocked :p
With all these +1/+1 counters (Scavange, Hydras), a few Bioshifts mite prove useful.
