Just remembered, my friend asked me to post the deck I was talking about. If you want a look, here it is:

A friend runs a black Bogbrew Witch / Bubbling Cauldron / Festering Newt deck as his main Standard deck. Like I suggested to you now, he splashed white for Angelic Accord and is using ± 3 of each artifact (Cauldron; Post; and Elixir). Between the Whitch searching for the Cauldron / Newt; the Cauldron sac'ing the Newt and the Elixir shuffeling the Newt back into the deck, almost nothing targatable lives. All the while, the 4/5 life that the artifacts gain him, angels are in no short supply either.

Ever consider splashing white for Angelic Accord? The life gain from the artifacts with Angelic Accord out is quite a cool combo. If you do decide to do this, I'd suggest up'ing the number of the artifacts and to add a few copies of elixir of immortality.

There isn't any other card (yet) that has 'Aura Swap'. It was a future Sight thing along with a few other Future Sight cards that are the only ones with their ability.

I played Elves during Lorwyn / Shadowmoor and the deck type that I had the most trouble against was Kithkin. Reason was with all the first strike, my elves died while the kithkin continued to live :(

Here are some cards I can recommend, though I'm not sure what to take out for them (if you decide to use them):

-Rustic Clachan: If you do use it, 2 should be a good number.
-Cenn's Tactician: can cause crazy combat decisions.
-Zealous Guardian: another combat surprise.
-Figure of Destiny: a powerhouse on his own.
-Goldmeadow Stalwart: {W} for a 2/2, how could you say no?
-Mosquito Guard: a one drop 1st striker or a +1/+1 counter on a creature. That makes this both a good early game play and a decent mid/late game play.
-Knight of Meadowgrain: another good attacker, though it's not a soldier.
-Ballynock Cohort: a good 1st striker.
-Kithkin Zephyrnaut: its surprise pump + flying has scared me more often than I care to admit.
-Springjack Knight: the double strike this crature caused cost me a lot of games, but again, it's not a Soldier.
-Thistledown Duo: even just the "play a white spell" effect makes it good enough to consider.

But above all else, with this being a white weenie deck, I highly suggest bumping Honor of the Pure to 4x (or at least 3x).

Interesting. I've been putting creatures aside to use with Muraganda Petroglyphs for a few years now and this deck has given me a few ideas of what to do in my deck, thanks :)

Personally I dislike Miracle cards because I prefer a guaranteed effect at a guaranteed cost. Instead, I'd probably use Beastmaster Ascension.

Also, I'm not fond of Predatory Rampage forcing the opponent to block, instead I'd rather use Overwhelm.

I know it's a good card, I've just never liked that much for some reason...

Contrmplated Canopy Cover in place of Spirit Mantle, but thought the pump and evasion was better than conditional evasion and hexproof.

I know very well how he works, my friend had a deck based on him. Point is, I want to do damage AND mill at the same time. The zombie tokens will only mill while Undead Alchemist is out (no damage).

You're thinking of Undead Alchemist. I had considered him, but he's a little pricy in both mana and effect. I play a lot of aggro decks and 4 mana is a bit expensive. Additionally, the zombies he can produce are a little iffy. They will never do damage as long as Undead Alchemist is out and the Alchemist only produces the IF a creature is milled, so decks with little to no creature cards are a problem.

Mesmeric Orb is cool, but it doesn't deal damage to the opponent :/

Shelldock Isle is worth contemplation, but I'd probably only use 2 due to it etb tapped...

Glad you like it :p

Those mill decks look interesting, but I didn't build this to be mill, rather agrro masquerading as mill >:)
For example, Trepanation Blade boosts the power of the creature for each card milled and Sword of Body and Mind produces a small army of 2/2 wolves. They just happen to mill on top of it :p
So I'm actually attacking two fronts at once, the library and the life total.

I'm thinking of adding black to remove cards directly from the library, especially for the cards that cause the graveyards to be shuffled back into the library.

Personally I'd not run Biomancer and undying creatures in the same deck, even with the Guildmage (it can only remove 1 counter at a time). I see undying as a good evolve trigger, but Biomancer is a litte counter productive as it'll more often than not rob the undying of it's best ability.

Another enchantment you may want to look into is Pyromancer's Swath. With one out, each Grapesot does 3 damage instead of 1, thus requiring less cards to be cast for the storm :p

Any reason you've left out the Rav duals? I think they'd help a lot. I'm not too keen on guildgates and, by extention, Gatecreeper Vine, unless you've got a use for them being gates.

You should take a look at creatures that kill themselves. I'm specifically thinking of creatures with Evoke (like Shriekmaw) and Echo (like Mogg War Marshal).
