I don't know if it's viable in terms of historic, but I would like to see Professor Onyx used as a commander for something. Magecraft is a cool ability.

Feel free to change things to suit the meta, since I have no idea what it's like in Historic.

Rasmus Sibast. He is/was the only player from Denmark on the list of Magic players with at least 100 pro points before that system was abolished.

And with the new Mythic points system on Arena, Denmark isn't even in the top 25.

According to my updated Google knowledge, there is exactly 1 pro player in Denmark.

EDH is not a competitive format by nature. It's a social game. If your lgs has edh pods with prize support and there isn't a clear winner of a pod by turn 4 then it's not a competitive setting.

Also, the commander is an important aspect of the game. That's why it's called commander. If you're sitting down for a casual game, then decks are going to be built around the commander, or a deck is going to be built and a commander is going to be picked based on how well it synergizes with their strategy.

If you want to play competitive commander then you need to find a group that is willing to play at that level. If you just sit down to a casual group at your lgs and bust out your Mizzix High Tide storm deck or your Kess Consultation Oracle deck and kill the table before they get to do anything then, well, they're simply just going to not play with you anymore.

Also, building around a commander does not break creativity. Do you know how many ways you can build around a commander? As an example we'll use Teysa Karlov. You can build her as Tribal, tokens, lifegain, aristocrats, or just have a general sacrifice theme to it. When playing commander at anything other than hyper competitive levels, people generally tend to pick a commander BECAUSE they want to build around it.

Yes, the sum of the deck matters, but if I want to build say, oh I don't know, dragon tribal, then I'm going to play either Scion of the Ur-Dragon, The Ur-Dragon, or Morophon. Then I'm still playing the thing I wanted to play anyway and the commander synergizes and matters for my gameplan.

I guess what I'm really trying to say is, there is no right or wrong way to enjoy Commander. However, if you and the the other players don't communicate on the power level of play they want to engage in it's just going to result in a lot of salty players that will likely never play with whoever didn't accurately communicate again.

Karmic guide enters bringing back Reveillark. You sac Karmic Guide, then sac Reveillark bringing back the Karmic Guide which brings back Reveillark. Rinse, repeat, victory.

Wickeddarkman, it's the "You could be on my "good list""

This. This comment is what rubbed him the wrong way, and to be fair, it would rub most people the wrong way. Who are you to decide who's good and who isn't? That is some gatekeeping nonsense. Also, you can improve a deck without improving yourself and you can improve yourself without improving a deck. They are not the same thing.

And saying everyone else has joined is incorrect. I don't recall joining and that is some peer pressure bulls***.

TLDR; At least in this particular comment thread, you're being an ass. Check yourself.

Just for clarification, you're asking for decks for the brawl format built to 99 cards plus the commander right? Under those restrictions this is all I got.

Have you considered Iroas, God of Victory for this list? Possibly over Tajic?

Ah, I play xenagod differently. It's not about winning, it's about sending a message. And few things send the message as clearly as Malignus and Ruric Thar.

Oathbreaker is technically a 58 card deck with your Commander and Signature spell.

Honestly I would just pick a 2-3 sweepers, 3-4 counterspells, 5-6 removal spells, and then a bunch of spells that say draw a card.

For creatures I would limit it to 4-6 low cmc creatures that benefit from your decks game plan. I count Aria of Flame as a creature.

I would also find room for Narset, Parter of Veils and Teferi, Time Raveler. I've put together a list that I would recommend for your spells/creatures. I don't know what you have as far as lands goes, but as long as you have the proper amount of colored sources you should be fine.

Have you considered playing spells with flashback or jump start? Maybe some adventure cards?

I also notice that you're only playing 13 lands. You should consider increasing that to at least 18, if not 20 since your curve is higher than traditional storm.

Oh, seemed more like a meme to me, but then here is what I suggest.
I do think you could limit the sideboard dragons to 4 scourge of valkas and 1 dragonlord kolaghan. If they're somehow not dead to 80 damage from 4 scourge entering with a kolaghan then they're dead to the additional 22 power in the air swing. This opens up your sideboard to cards you can bring in like abrade, aria of flame, shattering spree, and mystical dispute.
Vadrok and lore drakkis are cute, fun and all around not bad. However, this deck could easily just run 1 dragon storm, 1 research, and 1 irencrag and drop the mutate creatures. This would give you access to 4 baral, 4 gifts ungiven, 2 past in flames, 4 serum visions and 1 sleight of hand. This does bring you closer to traditional storm, which you might be trying to avoid, but the deck has been viable for so long for a reason.
This does remove the mutate creatures, but, while they're fun they are also very slow. This makes the deck faster, a bit more consistent and still has the plan of dealing 80 damage to your opponent with 4 scourge of valkas and 1 draginlord kolaghan.
I'm personally a huge fan of pyromancers ascension, but it could be replaced with 3 more sleight of hand and 1 opt. However, the card is sweet.

I do like the idea of dragon storm with research as you only need a storm count of 4 to kill them. All in all I'm a fan.

Field of the Dead is simply a back up win condition if they have something like leyline of sanctity in play. The main goal is to valakut them.
