ok. so this is an interesting deck. :)I like donate decks so this looks pretty fun to play.sadly Firedrinker has the drawback of allowing your opponent to pump it after you give it to them. however, it is still very much a viable card here I think.a couple of suggestions that I might have would be:Stuffy Doll, as it just BEGS to be burned with blasphemous act.Graveyard recursion. at least sideboard. In case you lose your creatures too early to be very useful, you want to be able to bringthem back. I might suggest quest for ancient secrets, feldon's cane, or elixir of immortality.I see that you are also running Counterspell, and I was curious what kind of spell you are anticipating to counter. if you are looking at something specific you could get a card that is specific to that kind of spell. which I have noticed tends to be cheaper to play because it is less versatile, and cheaper on the pocket for the same reason.

thanks for the feedback. I would be happy to check out your deck Jessie. :)
yeah... then you are probably in need of some sleep my friend.
probably. what time is it?
I would love to play against this deck. to test it out.
if this wasn't standard, I would suggest viscera seer instead of butcher. as it is only B to play. This also looks a bit high manawise, and as such looks a tad slow. but other than that this looks pretty good. certainly looks fun to play with. well done. :)
I like it. :) left a comment.
intangibles and mind games are the best about Magic I think.
I have to admit though that there are some decks that break that rule into tiny pieces.
can't wait to see it. :)
bounce is great, but can be more tricky to pull off on a consistent basis, as most bounce spells are either an expensive creature, or a non permanent that doesn't put anything on your side of the board. usually. (with the exception of a few decks that I have seen on here...)
I try. :) sometimes I actually even say something funny. :)
when I first started playing, I had a very... unusual outlook on life gain.I HATED white, because of life gain, and thought that it was too hard to defeat, but never enough to actually win a game by itself. because it doesn't actually hurt your opponents position.I like this "Deck", because as Northern stated, it clearly and simply states how a match should be thought of, and how to improve a) deck building based on knowledge of the game, and b) how to be a better player, also based on that knowledge.this gets a +1 from me. :)
well I think that, as stated, there comes a point where you are at a disadvantage by drawing so much, and hitting that 8 card limit is that point. usually.
so you have BEE-n thinking about it?
its all good. :)
ok, so here are my thoughts. you are too unfocused. you should drop the enchantments that tap creatures, and the leyline. you have no real need for them. Mana web, rhystic study, and frozen aether give enough of that.you should focus more on the mill itself, and how you are going to prevent spells from being played. because if you build/play in anticipation that your opponent is going to have those threats out... then you have failed as a mill and counter deck. Does that make sense?oh, and you really don't need spellbook at all.I KNOW that you can make a more focused deck than this. it kinda looks like you were a kid with a 500 dollar gift card to a candy store and just grabbed one of everything, just to try it out.
I don't get it...
you could throw doubling season in here too. that would be interesting I think. :)
actually I think that hushwing would be kind of counter productive here, since the deck focuses on having creatures enter the battlefield to untap midnight guard.on the counter spell front, Swan Song wouldn't be a bad idea, as well as negate. and if Cancel, then Dissipate or Dissolve might be better, since they are the same mana cost, but have additional abilities.
