yeah, winter orb does effect everyone. only untap a single land per turn... ouch.
Mana web is a beast with winter orb.

a friend of mine had a deck with winter orb, high tide, and Leviathan. it was pretty crazy. It was far better than it sounds. it was a joke deck at first, but it could hold its own once it got going.

yeah, lack of mana burn does hurt it a bit. Power sink is another fun card with winter orb and mana web.

well, here is the effect rulings on the card:
Whenever any land target opponent controls is tapped for mana, tap all lands he or she controls that can produce any type of mana that land can produce.

so it really only effects a single person at a time. unless there has been an Errata stating otherwise.

ok, so I know that it isn't an offensive card... but Darkness would go well in here I think. or unmake could be fun too. :)

my biggest concern is if I really need the medallions or not. I know that they are nice, but are they really going to give me the advantage that I think they will? :(

yes. that is pretty much the sole reason that Absorb Vis is in here. not too often do you find a black land searching card, and a halfway decent one at that.

and yes, I probably do need some search as well. or maybe some transmute. that might be good.

and I figured that since Mana Web only effects my opponents, I don't need creature based mana production.

You say that there is mana ramp here. Aside from sol ring (which is an excellent card) I really don't see any. What am I missing?

Right on. :). I am surprised that video has gotten as big as it has in such a short amount of time. It is easily their most successful skit. :)

They do have some other good ones too. The Shoulder Angel skit is pretty funny.

most of my decks are pretty casual. so I am sure that some of them wouldn't be much of a challenge.

Perhaps my Leeched Lockdown Deck, my 1 Mana Dimir control Deck, my Defender Deck, or my Super Fast Hydras deck.
those might be able to hold their own. :) you should take a look at them, and let me know if you think they would stand a chance.

Chained to the rocks certainly is a threatening card. and the cheaper hero's fall is a bigger threat as well. I like this setup. :)

so, you removed underworld coinsmith, and athreos. and added in Chained to the rocks.
swapped Utter end for hero's downfall. and removed a single murderous cut as well.
as for lands...
bloodfell caves swapped for bloodstained mire, and windscarred crag for temple of malice.

did I miss anything?

Ok, but I only see Two Power Nine cards. as it is only 43 cards I assume that it isn't finished. but still. where do they fit in?
