True, and they're not even restricted to waiting for the attack. It's a truly amazing card for this deck.I think shock and dejection would be my reaction.

I'm quite surprised I never commented on this, it's such a wonderful deck. I'm not sure what's worse; Zombie Trailblazer, Touch of Darkness, Nefashu, or Cauldron of Souls. I think I would honestly have to say the Trailblazer, as it transforms the zombie apocalypse into an army of Royal Assassins. Also, I would most likely react in the same way as Sure mentioned upon getting Touch'd.
Nefashu is one of those things I've always wanted to see be epic, but never did, and was beginning to believe it was impossible. Now we know. That's a nasty combination, and I absolutely love it.
That's... That's kind of mean.https://i.imgur.com/Bv2ZyiJ.gif
It's an absolutely wonderful combination, Oby 2.0, and Maralen, but there has never been a bigger slap in the face to Sisay than Oby 2.0. That alone merits use, but then with the near constant pump that can be offered? Simply marvelous.
Yuuuuup, and that's pretty awesome when it happens. Also, :P I couldn't help but tinker with Marchesa after seeing her! There are so many possibilities, and such great colors! Gaaaah, I barely know where to start professing my love for her as a general. Why Jasmine Boreal though? 0_oAnd as for Duskmantle, that is quite interesting, though I don't feel quite comfortable giving my opponents a free Bob. But that's another idea to pursue, and a good creature to set off with. Dag, you've given me my project for the next attempted version.
The video was awesome, and quite informative. Pretty cool. Also, I don't know how I managed to never do that... >_>
I will, and it is quite a good deck, one of my favorites even. I still say they are too different to really lump together so readily though, it really only boils down to the ideology of the decks; I win because you can't. You can't because you have no power. You have no power because you have been denied. Really if one boils it down to the ideas, without reflecting on the methods, you could say that Stasis Prisons are simply a Blue version.I'm not trying to be rude or snooty, I'm just very particular about these decks, and I apologize if that's the way this comes off.
Yeah, budget Stompy is pretty common, but 'Goyfed up lists seem quite rare oddly. Aspect of Hydra is quite an amazing card here actually, it's been the tipping factor a few times. It's surprisingly fun in a casual setting, I say that as somebody who despises playing Green. It does try to race combo, and it works more often than Zoo, but at the end of the day it's still Green aggro.Cool! Have to check that out when I get a moment to test a few hands; I'm busy trying to catch up on what I've missed this week.
I motion it be an automatic inclusion for EDH MBC, it's that good.
Yeah, it's pretty hilarious against Brololo especially. Usually the Brololo player has the option of shrugging it off quite easily, but when they can't gain life because I don't have to get colors?https://i.imgur.com/AuyjLON.gifAlso, I'm quite surprised you haven't run into that yet. I've found myself tutoring up Killing Wave quite frequently using this, it's a massive bloodletting at worst, and a wonderfully efficient sweeper usually.
Well, I do believe Julius said it best; Veni, vidi, vici.I have to agree on both points Dag, they match so well, but they suck sooooo much. :|
It seems there's no real middle ground for them, and that's something I find quite interesting. I think it really comes down to ones landbase, and color variance. This design is admittedly quite reliant on Marchesa to apply realistic power, so getting my colors set properly from the start is dreadfully important. Also, Grudge Keeper is amazing.
Atheros is pretty cool, but Thassa is just epic to me. And where I'm going is kind of cool, but it's also going to be stressful... I'm going to be at a competition.
Drink a powerade, and eat a bacon sandwich.I thought so too, but even I wound up just throwing him in things rather than building for him. It feels good to use him as he should have been.<_< Can't believe I forgot Death Baron. Yixlid Jailer is quite counter-intuitive for this design though, the loss of my recursive creatures would be too much of a tradeoff. If anything I would stick Reassembling Skeleton in here rather than that. The Whip however is a pretty damn good idea.I am glad you like it, Erebos is my second favorite(Thassa wins man, Thassa wins) of the gods, and MBC is always enjoyable. Though to be honest, I'm more enthralled by my Marchesa projects right now, there are so many possibilities it's staggering. Also, I shall be leaving for a week or so in two days. I might get on Facebook periodically, but I can't promise much.
I feel as though I just had a friend drunkenly stumble at my door before walking off. That gave a good laugh, I needed that I think.
You mean Glue Stax? In theory they're quite alike, they were both derived from MUD Stax after all, but in play they are worlds apart. The difference between Glue and Pox variants is simply staggering, in play, and even the actual designs themselves.
I can definitely get behind ditching Grimblade... Doubly so for Grudge Holder shenanigans. Signets are an automatic inclusion for me in a multicolored EDH deck, it's not only average filtration, but also slight ramp. That's big for EDH, especially when you have a Commander/General with three or more colors. This version has already become my favorite, this experiment was a huge success in my opinion! And I'm glad you like it too, makes me feel less like it's just refreshing to swap over.
Ooo, that's pretty awesome! I'm going to have to watch that.
I think you'd find this design more to your likinghttp://www.mtgvault.com/jensdagon/decks/tearing-the-veil-from-grace/
