Assuming you mean Rogue's Passage, that's a dreadful lot of mana to commit to not pumping or keeping my beaters safe. I'd much rather just deal with them potentially blocking my Necropede, or Glistener Elf than sink that much. Much like Mr. Afleck states above. And as to the question of Karakas, the shops I frequent have Reanimator, and Sneak players. Having a silver bullet is not such a bad idea when coupled with Crop Rotation.

I enjoy these decks a lot, and thanks! :DThat had been brought up before, but I think the sacrifice with Crop Rotation is worth it for the reduced mana cost. I can tap a land to sac it and bring out Depths, so it effectively just works as sac land get combo. If you'd link me your list, I'd quite enjoy checking it out. I'm recently getting into magic after taking a break since about August, and having not /really/ played since maybe April?
I can't help but smile anytime I see Legacy Infect, I quite enjoyed them. I'm going to have to put another one back together, thanks for letting me know what I'm bringing on Friday! :D
The average day to day life, somehow more on autopilot than ANT :pOooo, that sounds like a bit of the good life right there. Congratulations on the lady friend, must be serious if it's lurv! Also super cool that you're an uncle now, little people running all about can get hectic, and chaotic, but so entirely delightful too.Yay! New ideas!
I'm glad this is a breath of fresh air for you, I'm actually pretty pleased with this deck. And it's been a bit dull on here for me too, but I think that's because it's almost all Modern, or Standard... And we're spoiled by our time with Eternal formats. You made an Evolve deck? That's actually pretty neat, I've never actually looked into doing one seriously. Closest I've come is throwing Experiment One in a few things here and there. You should definitely upload it!I've been well enough, slowly going crazier, but I recently had some good sushi, and have been playing Mortal Kombat in my free time, so well enough that I honestly couldn't complain. What about you? Seen any nice folds lately?
Yeah it's a Depths deck. This variant of BG Pox both cannot, and would not use counters. Hand disruption is protection enough really. I've even had games where I've wound up having to Smallpox away an Emrakul and just fire off again with another Marit Lage.
I was eating a pomegranate when I put it up.
I'm kind of thinking the same thing, another interesting idea would be AM in an Enlightened Tutor XX-Lands build. His EDH decks always seem to utilize the weirdest things in the best manner, I love that.Yes. Yes you do.
This more insane style had a brief moment in the sun, but it's a lot more demanding in tournaments. It is. I am actually really enjoying this, but it still feels slightly off. I plan on trying another version running much like Sure says below, but I'm actually thinking Naya, or perhaps RWBG.
Yeah, I think in the Scrying Sheets versions you would be quite right though. And Aggressive Mining is... Well, it's the weirdest thing I've ever tried to do with Parfait actually. It feels a bit win-more at times, and others it feels like the only thing putting me ahead. It's too early for me too really say. With Manabond though, yeah, it's like having a bastardized Legacy version of Gush.
This is true, most do run twenty lands, and I won't always have Land Tax. But I've found eighteen to actually be a more rounded number to use, allowing that increased allotment of silver bullets, and another enabler in the form of Tithe. Even at one, Tithe adds quite a lot to the deck.
Flagstones is a very tasty idea, I hadn't thought of that. Seismic and Country are interesting options, Seismic Assault especially, in perhaps a more green heavy design utilizing Life from the Loam as well. It may be a control derivative of aggro-loam, which I do quite enjoy.
Land Tax. You do know how Parfait works, right? I understand it's a moderately obscure deck, but I figured it was considered common knowledge. I suppose I'm too accustomed to the random deck knowledge from woogerworks.
From what I understand, it was a typo that spawned the name. Something about saying Veteran Explorer with Cabal Therapy was a nic fit, meaning to say nice fit, and it became a thing.I love Birthing Pod, I played the shit out of it in Modern, and always wanted a viable option to run it in Legacy in. So a few months ago I started looking into how well Nic Fit worked as a shell for it, and switched from Dirt to BUG. I think my favorite play is going into Llawan out of the board on Delver players. Or Fleshbag Marauder against Sneak Show, that's just one of those 'no way I actually got to pull that off' things. Also, Deluge is quickly becoming one of my favorite sweepers.
Thragtusk. Thragtusk always.
I tried it, and Dag, it's got to be one of the best formats I've ever played. This is amazing!
The flavor of the set is awesome, but I just... I can't get into the cards themselves for the most part.
I did for a bit, but I kept wishing it was more burn every time. They both directly increase damage output, but Gut Shot taking out a lot of utility creatures proved to be more valuable.
I really liked that about him, it's what made me decide I wanted to make the deck. He's an aggro equivalent of Norin really, which is my other mono-Red EDH deck, but it winds up playing soooo differently, and I love it for its silliness. My group has a house rule against using Infect in EDH, but that would be absolutely sickening. I used to play RUG Infect in Modern using Shoal, and it was atrocious.I literally did not know about that until you said it, OHMYCTHULHU I LOVE IT. A tinkering we will go!~
Sidsi, Brood Tyrant; Tasigur, the Golden Fang; or Zurgo Bellstriker. Sidsi can potentially do all sorts of nasty shenanigans, Tasigur too, but Zurgo just seems like he'd be fun even though Dash is affected by the cast tax. I just think he'd be funny. I've been trying to decide which I want to make too. :|
