I about cried when a Maverick player I konw sent me his most recent list... It had; 4 Deathrite Shamans, 1 Dryad Militant, 3 Scavenging Oozes. Needless to say right now I'm not playing my Dredge, Reanimator, or Lands for a bit...http://i.imgur.com/Y1jAWgu.jpg

Sculler is downright dirty in general. It's a creature, it's temporary hand extraction/disruption, and if you sac it you can set the stack so the LTB finishes before the ETB for a permanent exile. The cruelest thing I've seen done with them is using them as fuel for Thoughtpicker Witch... Lemme exile two cards, one in hand, and one of the top two of your library, and do it for only three mana.
Kind of. Gate was a deck that really took form around when I started, and it was Mono-Black aggro-control. Dark Confidants, Gatekeepers, Nighthawks, and Abyssal Persecutor made up the beatsticks, and past that it played really good disruption, and as it was black, great kill spells. My versions have always felt a bit more like the middle ground between Poxless Pox(runs only Smallpox), and TNE to me.Consuming Vapors is absolutely stellar, but the mana cost, and the only slot I can think to put it would be in place of a Cauldron.
And now I want to make a Genju of the Realm deck. Also, HOLY CRAP THE TOKEN LOOKS EPIC.
Blind Obedience and Meekstone kind of craps on the day of some decks he's mentioned going against before, so I think the redundancy is for a safety net.I suggest three because it's just been the best number for me, but in retrospect it would better fit the idea of the deck to run the full playset I agree. Also, I still say Dredge is epic, as is even budget MBC.
You know, I'm a bit blown away by that. Urami would actually be not only an interesting general, but I can only imagine that it's effective.
I still say three, more bodies to throw at the opponent. Certainly it has lower demand for them, but a recursive beat stick is a recursive beatstick is a recursive beatstick(BB).
It is pretty expensive, but mostly that's in Liliana, and Thoughtseize if I'm not mistaken. I'm thinking of trying to make a relatively budgeted version of this, but I just don't know what I can use in place of Liliana. She really brings this together.
It was pretty much the only thing said so far that I could post, they reaaaally don't like this. :DIt is always a tough decision, but the way I decided was that it's more reliable to get the decrease for Tombstalker. Plus, flying!Urami is surprisingly not awful in here. It blew my mind.
It is, at least for me/whoever pilots it. so far this has resulted in nothing but hilarious remarks from people too, but none of them exactly friendly. Which I take as a mark of success for the deckhttp://i.imgur.com/w2xjUAg.gif
Liev Schreiber is a pretty fantastic choice, I don't know who would be better for Garruk. Vin Diesel honestly has a better matching physique, but Liev Shreiber could nail that role so perfectly, and his voice would fit better I think.I think Iain De Caestecker(Fitz on agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D.) would make an absolutely spectacular Jace. His face quite matches the art, and his hair could be dealt with I suppose. And that David Tennant, provided he grew out his sideburns more, could be Venser.
It's been a while since I've seen one based in disruption rather than Seek and co. I think the last time was with an MBC not unlike Gate, but running four surgical extractions, and a copy of extirpate. Very cool method you're using.I can think of a few nifty suggestions, but if they're usable I'm not sure(Unlike most I comment on, I haven't tried this yet). Tidehollow Sculler seems like an obvious pick in a deck running WB with E. Tutor, an increased hand disruption suite would certainly help as well. I think the most ready change I would do if I was playing this would be to drop to 3 E. Tutors, and 1 Entomb, and fill the void with Hymn to Tourach. And drop a Bloodghast and a Shaman for a pair of Tidehollows.
Frank Welker through a flanger filter like they use for the Hollow effect in Bleach would be my vote. Though Robert Downey Jr would also be cool.
Iain Glen has a pretty deep voice, but Benedict Cumberbatch would probably do pretty well too.
Honestly, for whatever reason when I imagined the planeswalkers speaking I hear Iain Glen as Sorin, and Bill Nighy as Tezzeret.
/)Brohooves for everybody!
I would love to see something like this stickied for new players, it's a great introduction to deck design!Edit; And you're a brony. Congratulations, you are doubly awesome.
A very fun play is Dread Return on Sun Titan, bring back LED, flashback Faithless Looting off of it, and DR again on Flame-Kin Zealot. Sometimes I'll grab Cephalid Coliseum, bringing back Bloodghast, or in other various ways go all in. The idea behind running three Narcomoebas is because I'm running the two Bloodghasts. They're what give me the edge vs most LED Dredge decks when it comes to game two. It gives me the option of slow dredging, and they act as Narcos four and as much as they do Ichorid three and four.
Kind of random, so here's my counterargument; what?
They say that every now and then, but I've never really seen it happen in a meaningful way. The closest to those being true so far was with Affinity, and that was because Tezzeret 2.0 is damn terrifying with that deck.
