Originally I was an Azorius player, but I quickly turned out to love mono-Black, but I never shook off my love for White and Blue, so I just kind of wound up Esper I'd say.Orzhov Charm is an interesting option, and I kind of like it.And Refugeanoth, the way it works is by maintaining priority after Sculler's enter trigger, and casting it in response. Bouncing it activates the exit trigger, meaning it resolves before the enter, thus exiling the card permanently.

I can understand not liking the art on some artifacts, a lot of them can be a bit bland. I do love the artwork some cards have for this game, the Ice Age Snow-Covered Swamp, Volrath's Dungeon, and Smokestack especially. I try to appreciate the art separately from the effectiveness, which has given me the awkward situation of going for cards I don't need, and ones I hate the look of :| I really love the look of Shardless Agent, but Shardless BUG and I don't get along as well as I'd hoped we would. But the deck is super pretty, and especially if you search out to get each of the different artworks for Hymn to Tourach!Have you considered a more traditional Tempo style? For instance I think an updated Canadien Thresh style would suit that quite nicely.I can understand. There are decks that seem quite nice, that I just can't get into too.And pretty colors do make it better.
Am I honestly the only one who enjoys winning just as much as any deck? Well, not Doomsday, or Pox, those decks are special. I don't really get anything out of winning, I mostly actually play the game because the points between are fun. And I don't really think my SnapStill deck would accept Extraction very well. But it's worth looking into. And Logazor, if you want to play that manner of control without Artifacts, you're going to have quite a time. Enchantments are too restrictive to use as your only source of static control. And Blackfire, I'm touched that you think that! But I must point out that the reason you don't see any decks of mine that would fizzle is because I try things out before turning them public. My first project deck was CounterTop Braids, and it was absolutely horrible... But it was invaluable as a learning tool for me. Seth from the forums suggested to me the disruption package I've tinkered into the one I currently use as a default even. And if you feel bad about plagiarizing my decks, just remember that anything you want to experiment is worth more than any list I've done.Without experimentation we stagnate, and if you think you have a way to improve one, it could be the next big thing.
UGx is pretty good, but I can't help they'd benefit more from a splash than TNN. Well, they'd really benefit from both! Also, I know what you mean... I've played Pox, but forgot to add Pox >_>Whenever people talk about "spirit animals" and whatnot, I can't help but jokingly name a Pingu character at random as mine.
Well certainly not Arc Blade, card is hax.
Pi-pi-pi-pi pi-pi-pi-pi PIIINIGU PIIINGU! I had to watch Pingu because my niece absolutely loves it, and it grew on me. Mostly Robbie the Seal though, the one where he kept stealing the fish was so hilarious!TNN is pretty epic, but I can sympathize with those who use less than polite words for them. :| And I think TNN has been pretty much agreed as the next ridiculous thing to be given to Aggro-Control in Magic. First people splashed Green for Tarmogoyf, but now I'm wondering if they'll splash Blue for TNN...Edit: The Guide is great! The old television version, the movie, the radio show, and the books are all fantastic.
Gerrad's Verdict is nice, I just never know how to feel about it really. It has the lifegain potential, which is nice, but it also not randomized, so it's a trade-off. I usually prefer Hymn since it hurts more. And for whichever one you go with, I'd say go down to one Entomb, and one Ensnaring Bridge.
I'm glad you like it, NO RUG has been an on/off again deck with me for a while(it lost a lot of joy when Mental Misstep was around), so seeing other people enjoy it again is always nice. Especially when it's Vaulters I like! :DI was actually considering naming it thathttp://i.imgur.com/w2xjUAg.gifI have been reading the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy again, and it's slowly taking over my mind haha!
No problem, always happy to help! ^-^
Well the fetchlands for one thing, casting spells, things dying, ect. As well as the same being done by the opponent. In Legacy it's not a question really of things getting to the graveyard, just who gets to them first if some of this stuff is involved.
Yeah, it doubles itself, but it doesn't double your chances of having disruption in your hand early on is the thing. Also, I'd almost always rather sac a Ghast for it than a Tidehollow. Certainly, Tidehollow gives you previous knowledge, but if you can hold onto the card it's nomming, /and/ hit something else? That's just beauty in efficiency.
None at all, the double mana costs in this deck are actually quite manageable. Though I am considering ditching a copy of Izzet Charm for another land for consistency without having to rely on mana dorks.
While I do enjoy Frankenstein, the Emperor's New Groove is a bit of my childhood, so I jumped to it first. You should if you get the chance, it's probably /somewhere/ on the internet if nothing else. Yes, it's a children's film, but I still love it.
Well, really it only plays RUG, it has a single Black mana producing land because of Deathrite, and the White is only noted in the display because of Progenitus. And Noble Hierarch gives Exalted, which means bigger beatsticks for me, and it also means that in the worst case scenario I can swing with her for one.
I quite like it, but I still say it'll be smoother with less Entomb, and more hand disruption.
Well, we have a /LOT/ of graveyard hate right now, so in my meta it would die horribly. It would do well in some metas where it's not super "developed", but I'd sooner just play Dredge in those, because you don't have to explain why you can sit there and endlessly equip Shuko, or target with Nomads just because.Emperor's New Groove is one of my favorite movies, and it's been what always comes to mind when I play Laboratory Maniac to be honest. I've gotten in trouble for shouting it... But it was totally worth it XD
They said they were making Dirty Maverick, I was so happy I said. I was wrong.http://i.imgur.com/mbS7sw9.gifhttp://i.imgur.com/BiyNUi9.gifIt's more painful than anything else I've ever played.
This is the go-to list for the people I play with pretty much. Used to have a lot of Zoo players, then eventually they jumped ship to Maverick, and then they got tired of my shit. And so this list was a group effort they used to stop the onslaught of graveyard decks from me.
I'm still trying to get used to that, but I'm sort of getting the hang of it. When I get my shortcuts memorized I should be ready to start trying it with other Vaulters ^-^Also, I mentioned before a Maverick from hell, and I thought you might like to see what has become the go-to list for people I know for it...http://www.mtgvault.com/jensdagon/decks/the-most-painful-of-decks/
I'm going to at least try and get used to it before I try and get stomped
