recursive spitter? i couldn't find that card anywhere :S
lol I know that's the point of control, but after you play against a swarm of control decks, they lose their authenticity. :P I'm not saying this deck is bad in any way, lol. it looks really solid, and seems to have a bit of virtual card advantage going on. i do like the deck, but I wouldn't find it amusing to play against. :P
hahaha, it's decided then.
she has her ups and downs, i agree. she can be useful. but if someones tapping out just to lay an elspeth... thats weak. a gideon would cause much more alarm. imo
It amazes me how whenever I notice someone has posted a commented to one of my decks, it's only been a few minutes since the post, lol. but yeah, i thought about the curve, but was waiting for other suggestions. maybe replace the skinrenders with fume spitters?
we all know the best lewis is ethan lewis. ;] haha I'm just joking.
or make them chuckle because they're playing against someone who fancies edward cullen... hahaha man I'm just joking, but none the less, i'd change the name.
ahhh I see I see. I just found that I was always being mana flooded. it wasn't really needed. and i find hexmages maindecked are a fair necessity. hexmage main can deal with a planeswalker if one should show up, then game 2 swap out for revoker so i can deal with them before they hit the table. also i really don't see how you're against the assassin :P yes, titans do often rely on come in to play/attack abilities, but an inquisition couldnt kill them anyways, and this card, allthough it may permit the abilities, it stop the damage. unless it's an inferno titan. :P plus, yes, titans are the dominant bombs of standard, for example I run 3 in this deck alone, but not every deck relies on titans. which is another reason I love the card. I'm just saying, your opinion is your opinion, but in my metagame I find the creature removal is really worth the card slot. he's a doom blade with multiple re-uses.
Oh i agree the card is sick, but the deck seems boring. after playing against one before (not even know wtf cawgo was) it just wasn't fun. playing against a deck getting everything countered isn't exactly fun, it's a good deck, but not my definition of fun. :/
no, but I have played against her, and won every time. :P
So if I removed the assassins for 2 more inquisition, that'd be the only changes more you'd make to the deck?
ahh, I see I see. gotta say, though, not a fan of the cawblade. doesn't seem all that fun. D:
alright so i removed a lot of battle cry, and why? well the idea was nice, but it in all honesty either rarely helped, or the big guys slowed it down. so, i added mirran crusaders, double strike and protection is always nice. added bonehoard because this a weenie deck, things will obviously die, and that ensures great pump. squad hawks over signal pests because they CAN block fliers and thin the deck. arc trails can take out many things in standard, now. and thats about it. sideboard is still shaky, but who cares, lol.
dark tutelage with 5 drops? thats suicide. do NOT do that, haha
A few changes, added bonehoard (ditched the 3rd hero) and also, ditched the pests for squad hawks. the +1/+1 rarely makes a difference, and plus when i draw a pest if i dont need it, usually it's a dead draw. so the hawks prevent that. and can also block fliers.
why 4 stoneforge and only 2 equipment? after you get your 2 equips, aren't they dead draws? i'd take out a stoneforge for a sword of body and mind. that way you have protection from black, blue and green. and the extra wolf token of the sword of b/m is a nice little bonus... not to mention the 10 mill
personally, I hate elspeth. "she's good for board wipe". what good board whipe costs 5 mana and takes 2 turns to get there? she'll give you 3 1/1 tokens, again, for 5 mana? who cares. i think she's good in certain decks, but not necessarily in control.
p.s., nice to see you back around mtg, you appeared to have gone for some while
i was hoping nobody would comment on this deck... hahaha. it was my first ever deck, this deck got me into magic. i know it sucks, but i kept it the way it is so I could remember where it alll started. I appreciate your comment, by all means it is helpfull, but this deck is more for sentimental sake. :P If you don't mind, though, can you check my mono black control? that deck is actually being worked on/used. thanks again, man.
