think sb needs some work still, though

I wouldn't go below 18 land. I'd keep it at 20. but change up the landbase. instead of 12 island i'd have 8 island and add 4 mutavault in their place. so it'd be; 8 island 4 mutavault 4 inkmoth 4 misty. still 20 lands (: Also, I really like trinisphere. that's deff. a sideboard, thank you!! and splashing... I think I'll splash white. For I think path to exile over swords. the reason being is I'd rather them have a land, then gain life and prolong the game. that's actually a great suggestion, thanks (: and surewhynot, I actually thought about marrow shards :P and you know, propaganda seems almost better to me than frozen aether. i mean they both have their ups and downs, but really all I'm concerned about is damage. if I get progen out, you have 2 turns to live. so i try and focus on this as much as possible. this deck seems to be coming along!!
It's funny, because I'm a huge bsz fan. And after I threw together this list, I thought about black sun. But even though my dudes can recur, I don't like the idea of wiping my board, and giving them a turn to do anything. Haven't tested yet though, so you might be right (:
It's a great deck, it just needs some meta tweaks (the jund,). And thanks, man (:
well, -2 revoker +2 urabrask. Trust me, it's amazing. Other than that, I think it could deal with less discard. Discard is good, but to me 5 was always enough. I also feel as if grim lavamancers are out of place... don't know what I'd add in their place, though. I think in my meta i'd rather have 4 spellskite. but that's just me, lol. I recently just threw together a black green mid range list, if you wouldn't mind checking it out. Hopefully it can survive valakut, lol. it's called "Black Green... MACHINE"
Null rods... oh how I've fallen in love with you. Affinity doesn't worry me a bit. Smack down a null rod, coutner your tezz... gg. The only thing I seriously dislike in this deck, is how once I draw my inkmoth, it renders my expedition maps USELESS. I might just say screw expedition maps, and throw in mutavaults instead. they can provide early beats and a still chumpers late game. Gobblins... they stil scare me. I have no ramp whatsoever, and frozen aether costs 4... even on the play, thats a turn 3 for them. And my counter only lasts so long. There's something missing in this deck.. I just don't know what. Dredge, meet ratchet bomb. U mad? And flusterstorm... that's a great idea! Thanks :D And zoo... meh same boat as goblins. But easier to counter. I think I'll just say screw the maps, -4 island +4 mutavault. this leaves me with 4 new slots. possibly more dig? or even unsummon to hold off for a bit. even dismember, maybe. Not sure. Feel it has potential, just needs the right build.
No worries man. It really is a solid deck, I love the list. Was thinking on building it myself... except I'm one of those "I shouldn't net deck" kinda guys, LOL.
Kinda disappointed I had no room for discard... In neither main or board... But, looks strong enough to overcome it. I hope at least. My biggest worry for this deck is puresteel. Sword of feast and famine sucks so bad. I mean, I know I can blow it up via beast within, but if it's not well-timed... I'm screwed. Half worried about valakut. But with 3 evil presence, 4 tec edge, and then a butt load of removal, I think I'm fine. Basically my whole board (minus hex parasite and disfigure) comes in against valakut. Eh. Caw blade... easy game plan. Ditch vengevines, ditch bloodghasts, get thrun. get solemn. Get persecutor, pox you out. :'D Besides that... I feel safe. The new jund list has me a bit worried... it's exceptionally stable. But I feel as if I can race it. As long as they don't realize urabrask is amazing in the list (yeah, you heard it from me).
You should give credit to the original designer of this deck; Korey fay designed this deck, and placed 3rd at the star city games standard open in Cincinnati Ohio. :/ Sorry, but it's a pet peeve of mine when people don't credit other people's works.
I mean for standard, lol. But even in legacy, I don't think I'd be a fan of small pox. :/ actual pox is nice, but smallpox.. meh
Will lose to valakut every time, but smash pretty much everything else. I ENJOY THIS
hmmm... that's a lot to take in at the moment, LOL. looks like I've got my work cut out for me. i'll try this in the morning.. atm my mind is standard-focused, lol. thanks, though. i appreciate it a lot (:
ahhh I see. hahaha. so what do you guys suggest changing?
Hahaha, really though. And i thought about pox.. but it seemed so weak. lol :P
...whats the combo that allows it to go off turn 2?
this deck is awful.
What do you mean by suicidal tendencies? : O And thanks, man! Glad you like it. :'D The only problem's it's seen are the faster decks. But I mean, I didn't really put a lot of work into this deck, lol. You could toss in some intuitions, and some show and tells. Coupled with a few more bops that reshuffle. Iunno, just ideas. but this deck did have a problem with the faster decks... any suggestions on how to dismantle said decks? I was thinking maybe black sun, but thats my standard opinion speaking..
Ahhhhhh I see, I see. well I still think dredge is slow... so Iunno, lol. i think the whole plan is ruined by my opp. sacing a creature. :/
you're trying to sac artifact to kuldotha, while also trying to ramp via. chalice to hit big red creatures, such as inferno titan. with all the little artifact dudes, it's going to take you a lot longer to ramp into your bigger guys. and with only about 4 big guys, chances are you'll rarely hit one. if you want speed, pick either kuldotha red or big red. trying to do both is a waste of your time. its a nice idea, but it just won't work.
breakthrough is pretty nice... think I'll do so, lol. thanks :'D but what's led? xD
