I think you're short about 7 islands... I'd actually run more than just 21 total but that's just me.

If you're running blue and infect, Distortion Strike is practically the best thing you can run! Try it. You don't need cultivate at all. Instead, try adding a few more 3 mana drop infect dudes.

I agree about the engines becoming clasps but i think you don't need any "Overrun" effects. Just simple pump spells like Groudswell or Giant Growth are awesome!

Have more spells like that also make your Livewire Lashes more effective by having more ways to target your guys.

I like the addition of Gigantiform but I think the Conscription seems like it would be just a little too slow at 8 mana, especially with so few land. I think 16 seems really low. Infect decks can be really quick and have a low curve so I can understand even as few as 20 but definitely no lower. I think you could maybe find better Infect creatures besides Putrefax, too. It can be really good and especially in the right deck but I believe it's just a little too expensive for what it'll end up doing. I'd add a cheaper (CMC) infect creature, maybe even the infect lord (Hand of the Praetors). I like the Vines of Vastwood and would suggest adding a few more cheap pump spells like groundswell. These will help save your guys from burn spells and also act as major "damage" spells on an unblocked infect creature (giant growth on an unblocked infect dude is essentially equal to a double lightning bolt!).

Well, I already managed to aquire the birds and I'm not sure how Joraga would really help any more. I like the birds because I can then drop the turn two cystbearer (I personally believe it to be the best of the 3 mana infect creatures) and follow the next turn with pump spells for the win (yes, turn 3). The birds also help with the color issues of a 3 color deck. The deck can run out of steam and cards quickly and gets rocked by burn, so the control is a precaution against that. Against slower decks it's easily sided out. Contagion clasp is the only proliferate which is cheap and can be very effective if they even just get a couple poison counters and can stop my creatures. I agree that engines wouldn't be too great, though. They're slow besides. As for the costs of cards, the birds are really quite cheap usually (a playset can cost lest than $15 which is cheaper than the land..). If not Cystbearer though, what would you suggest?

While you're playing mycoloth already, may I suggest one of my favorite ridiculous combos? Spitting Image! Just gets out of hand if they can't stop your dude right away. Every extra land = giant creature plus millions of little ones, especially with doubling season out. Fun deck though. With all the tokens, I'd maybe also reccomend a couple copies of beastmaster ascension for out of nowhere wins when you have enough tokens down but not enough for really lethal.

So.. When you say "based on," you basically mean "a copy of"? I mean, if you're gonna repost it, at least make more than like 1 land change and slightly changing the sideboard...

Just noticing, if you'd played the deck differently, it could easily have been a turn 3 kill... Turn one is the same. Turn two, put the argentum armor on the non-bounced memnite and attack with it. Turn 3, switch it to the duelist with your outfitter and attack with everyone for the win...

Other than that, I agree about the fetch deal everyone else is talking about. If you can get the rare fetches, play them and add steppe lynx to the mix. Then things get really good/crazy! Check out my Quest deck and leave a comment maybe. :)

Well, I can see how it may have potential but I definitely think it's a little short right now, especially in the mountain dept. You need at least 6 mountains in play to even make valakut worthwhile. I don't think just having 8 quite cuts it. Plus, you should probably have a lot more than just 20 land in a ramp deck. I'd suggest adding another 3 mountains and maybe something like a terramorphic expanse or 2. You should probably have at least 24 mountains, anyways. I'd maybe cut the walking atlas as it's basically a much worse version of explore and maybe a couple fireball to make room for the land. 4 scute mob seems like a little bit much, too, maybe. I haven't tried the deck I guess so I suppose I can't truly say for sure.. Looks fun though. Good luck with it.

Yeah, I'm working on getting more primevals but honestly, I think inferno titan is a bit underrated. It helps to stomp over a lot of the quicker aggro decks like elves and other opposing creature ramp. It's worth testing a bit at least I think. At worst, it can still attack into walls and still manage to lightning bolt the opponent. Ratchet bomb really doesn't seem like it should hurt much. It's really useful against any decks with tokens (like decks running Avenger of Zendikar). Back to Nature may be a good idea, but I don't see enchantments really being the issue so much anymore. I think I'm more worried about the artifacts in the format right now. Often, they won't have multiple troublesome enchantments anyways so I think it's probably fine with the naturalize and the acidic slimes have actually proven to be amazing! At worst, it's added land destruction and a great chump blocker.

Overall it looks pretty good. The best cards in the deck, though, are Vengevine (the card which you named the deck after!) and Fauna Shaman. I say those should each have one more card slot. Bloodbraid should be a four-of as well. It's just that good, especially with Vengevines in the graveyard. I think 3 Scute Mobs is maybe a bit much and the Knigh of the White Orchid seem a little hard to play, reliably. My only other main suggestions would be to try Birds of Paradise for a bit of ramping and color fixing. It's also a good card you can pitch to Fauna Shaman later in the game. Other than that, if you're running Fauna Shaman you should have just a few really good bomb one-ofs in the deck like Baneslayer Angel, Sun Titan, Linvala, Realm Razer, etc. Basically, just some big cards that can save you against various decks or hose other decks. It's a good build overall though, despite my large box of comments. ;) Just a bit of tweaking is all. Check out my decks please? MBC and Destructive Force.

Kavu Predator in this deck would be amazing if you also add a few cards like Grove of the Burnwillows to your land base. Also, if you run the Grove it would be great to add Punishing Fire.

I would reccomend as a backup plan to add the combo with Starlit Sanctum and Daru Spiritualist for infinite life. This is a sick combo as well and is triggered by the shuko equips. This provides extra resiliency for you combo and essentially a 2nd way to win out of nowhere. Also, add a 4th narcomoeba in case you draw more than one. Brainstorm is a wonderful cards so you don't have to worry as much about drawing those cards and there are many other powerful card draw/search spells you seem to be lacking. The land base could use some work as well, especially obviously if you decided to add the Cleric Life combo. Best of luck.
