This deck is tribal and Omnath is not an elf and thus deviates from the theme of the deck. The problem with the cards you mentioned (and Immaculate Magistrate) is I currently can't get my hands on any of them :(

Loam Dweller + Elder Pine of Jukai is an awesome mini combo :D looking at this deck makes me want to add red to my Spiritual Nuke deck ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=227227 ) :p
Take it from someone who tried a similar deck, 4x Stuffy is a bad idea. It costs too much, so I suggest taking it dowm to 2 (maybe 3). Urza's Armor mite live longer than Purity (just something to consider). Rugged Prairie would be usefull too as it'll allow you to change your white mana into red for Pyrohemia :p
A guy in my group runs a similar deck design (just strait white) with creatures that have shadow [some have prot red too :( ], so I know what it feels like to face this type of deck. Jitte on anything that's 'unblockable' is just nasty. I'm so not going to suggest about Quietus Spike :p
look again, they're there
I agree, Vault of Whispers will be awesome in this deck, but why only 4 Vaults? Why not take out another 4 Swamps for 4 Darksteel Citadel? just a thought :p
I only got one thing to say: W-W-W-W-Wallet Breaker!
Gathan Raiders is (IMO) an awesome hellbent creature :p
I can't think of anything for consistency, I'd have to play the deck to figure that out and I don't have the cards to do that. Awesome deck though :D Only way I see this having trouble is Hyper being countered or the opponent having worse threats than you :p
Time to start my Piper hate (again)... ahem... Piper won't work in this deck, it dies before it can be of any use. Blue has counter and bounce, black has kill, white has exile, red has burn. The only colour that can't do anything about it is green... no, green has kill too in the form of cards like Beast Within. So although Piper is good on paper, in practice it's not.
What you say is true. My strait red build doesn't need burn or the Hideaway land and I've often pulled off a turn 3 or 4 win in both group and one on one games (Kokusho is awesome). I've pulled off a turn 2 win and the deck's "God Hand" can make it a turn 1 win :p
I run a Dragonstorm deck ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=32108 ) and I found (in earlier versions) that I often drew my key dragons, so I kicked out the blue, added red draw cards and more dragons. People have said to me that I have too many dragons in my deck, but some of those people (the ones I can play against) have often lost to my deck. Best part about my deck is I can win one on one or group games by fetching 4x Kokusho :p
"tunnel focus" can be awesome (and game winning) if done quick enough, but with restricting yourself to standard, that's not possible. I just remembered a card from Rise of the Eldrazi can be used as a search for Liquimetal Coating - Ancient Stirrings (remember Zendikar, including RoE, is still standard untill 30 Sep)
Normally I'd agree with you, but other than the obviously difficulty of getting Liquimetal out (4 in 60 chance of drawing it with no search for it, at least none I know of in standard), once it is out it can be used to kill almost anything, not just lands. Also being limited to standard for LD limits the amount of LD cards, so I looked up alternative ways to kill lands and Liquimetal seemed the easiest :p
Liquimetal Coating + any artifact kill can = land destruction :D and if you do that, Magnetic Mine mite be a good addition too :p
Dragonstorm is an awesome deck, the best addition I did to my version was add 4x Kokusho :D My Dragonstorm deck is also strait red :p
You will run out of cards in hand very quickly, so I suggest a form of draw. I use two draw mechanics in my Goblin deck - 1) Infiltration Lens [equipped to Goblin Gaveleer = awesome] and 2) Ichor Wellspring + Kuldotha Rebirth. Ded's Goblins (revamp) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=205604
You're playing blue in a Dragonstorm deck, why don't I see Grozoths? they transmute for the Dragonstorm :)
I like the idea of Lavamancer controling what gets shuffled back :) Being a largly burn deck, you're missing something - draw. My suggestion is to use my current favourite red "draw mechanic" - Goblin Gavalear equipped with Infiltration Lens :p
Shatter (or similar) imprinted on Isochron Scepter + Liquimetal = continuance land kill :p
