A nice little trick I use in my gobbies is Goblin Gavalier + Infiltration Lens and Ichor Wellspring + Koldotha Rebirth. Draw in a goblin / burn deck works wonders :p

I once thought of putting the curses in my build, but found I needed the mana for fogs more often than I could force the opponent to attack. That and the curse costs more mana than contaminated bond. The way I play my one I need mana open at all times. If I made this version, I'd take the Copy's out for 'baby Jace'.
Lovisa Coldeyes is legendary, drop her to 2 (3 at most). I've designed a Baberian tribal a while ago, take a look, you mite get some ideas - http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=40324
Looks good. Mite I suggest a staple tribal card "Coat of Arms" or if you're worried about it making your opponent's creatures bigger, "Door of Destinies" could be nice too. Also if you go with the Door, tribal instant and tribal sorcery changeling spells could help get more counters on the Door.
Honestly I'd put that extra Toll in sideboard. The deck looks good at the moment, but it still needs a sideboard. I forgot to mention the funniest part about playing against the turbofog, I was the one playing the fogs :p
I found a quicker way to do this and with less cards, but a 3rd colour is needed: Turn Doubling Season into a 5/5 creature with Opalescence and then enchant Doubling with Followed Footsteps. Now if I'm correct, you'd need to start using this formula to keep count of your Doubling Season tokens: Y=2^n where Y is the number of tokens you put into play instead of 1, and n is the number of doubling seasons. Enjoy the migraines keeping count of those token Doubling Seasons :p
One of the necessary tricks I've found with the my deck while playing against control is to get the Hissing Miasma out asap and before giving too many spirits. Multiple Hissing Miasma would be preferable, but as long as one is out you should both be losing the same amount of life. On a side note, the funnest matchup I've had was against a turbo fog deck that ran Luminarch Ascension for its win condition :) I kept the fogs to keep me in the game and batwings where for when he foolishly attacked with a group of angels. His fogs where useless against me and Hissing Miasma had him not attacking with the spirits. It's amazing how many people stop attacking when it's out :p
All the cards you've suggested are good cards, but a lot of them seem to not fit in with the theme of my deck. Vexing Shusher is a goblin and if I wanted that ability I'd run my Guttural Response that I already have. Also I'm accustomed to playing against counter with this deck and I can work around counters. The cards that untap creatures aren't needed in this deck. Especially Wirewood Lodge as it only adds colourless. I need the {G} early game. This is a swarm deck, so Seeker of Skybreak isn't really needed. If I need that ability, I'd rather use Ezuri, Renegade Leader as he gives trample too. I'm hopefully getting more of him soon :) I haven't seen a need for Wellwisher. Essence Warden's life gain is more to buy time than anything else and it's a 1 drop where Wellwisher costs 2. Genesis Wave's downside is a bit too much of a problem for me and this is a token production deck, I don't really need to search more than I already do for my creatures. I also don't need to cheat them in :p
Thanks. I have considered Oran-Rief, just personally don't like it. I don't have any Parrallel Lives (or Doubling Season for that matter) and I'm happy with the way the deck is already. I may try work in Dismember into my sideboard for Iona :|
Personally I don't see that working well. This type of deck uses life as a way to bye time (at least my version does) and damaging myself is counter productive.
Ok, I get what you mean. I play against very few control decks, but when I do I thoroughly enjoy it. The trick (that I've learned) is to bait out the counters and spot removal and I've mostly got it rite (there have been times when I couldn't follow up the bait). You didn't offend me, but I wasn't lying, I am lazy :p
I like addition of War's Toll, but at 4 mana it mite prove to be a problem. I've found that more than once (with my build) I don't get much mana, but that could just be me :| As for suffering to control decks, I have yet to face one with my build. Lucky for me most of my group plays aggro or combo :) and as for lack of creatures, that's what the Agent and Orchid are for, just need to play more than one Stronghold :p et al response - That was quite mean, made me feel stupid when I'm just lazy :(
I can see why the Copy mite be a problem, but you essentially are running 3 extra of any of your enchantments and having 7 Hissing Miasma is no laughing matter. "crafty ways to remove them" when your deck relies on a particular card type, that will happen :p If I ran blue, I'd put in some draw mechanic... maybe Howling Mine?
The dragon giving 2/2's could hurt more that they're worth. Orchid's 1/1's are easy to work with. Ans that's why Mercy Killing is in my sideboard and not mainboard. Though when I do use it, it's awesome :D The white hunted giving a 4/4 could be problematic. So, you're the type that conserves fogs? That changes the way the deck runs almost completely. I don't use the fogs as I get them, but if he decides to attack with a group of creatures at once, I fog, especially if it's Batwing :p Question: what is "et al" ?
What, no Lightning Bolts? Or any other burn for that matter
You'd be surprised as to how rarely the deck does what I want it to do, but on a hole it's a hell of a fun deck that I don't mind losing with :D And coming second in a Legacy (of all formats) tournament with this... lets just say I'm still in shock o.O
Personally I dislike people netdecking (copying a deck directly), I won't stop you from doing it, I just don't like it. One of the things I like about Magic is the versatility and the encouragement of creativity. Netdecking does not promote creativity and thus spoils the game for me. So use the idea and put you own twist to it, then link me and I'll give my 2 cents worth :p
You should've seen the earliest versions of this deck, it was terrible. What you see here now is a result of a few years of deck reconstruction and testing, so don't give up on your deck efforts, just work at them :p
Hunted Dragon is a bit pricey. I used to run Stuffy Doll in one of the earlier versions of my deck, but I found the casting cost hurt allot more than it was worth. You need to keep one or two mana open for the fogs and a high cost creature doesn't help at all. I used to run Nettling Curse when I ran red in mine, but found it better to not force the creature to attack for two reasons - 1) mana open for fogs and 2) the creatures not attacking buys time to give even more creatures to Stronhold later :D Lust for War is nice though :p
Looks promising. I like the addition of Copy Enchantment :) Let me know how the addition pf blue works :p
