The 'fogs' tend to stall long enough.

I agree that the price of the land is stupid, but the fact that it's a mountain that can add green mana could work nicely in a GR Valakut deck

The Mercy Killings work like a charm for spot removal of the creature that made me lose in the previous game :p

True, it was just an idea.

If I ever did add blue, I'd reconstruct the deck from scratch again. That way I'd make sure to have a land base to support the cards. I wish I had more 'shock lands', but I don't, I was lucky to get what I have :|

No, that type of card goes against what this deck does. I want the opponent to attack me so that Souls of the Faultless, Hissing Miasma and Batwing Brume can punish them for attacking :p

Actually, I'll put one together with what I currently have and link you for input :p

I actually like this and Adaptive is a nice alternative to be imprinted on the Portal :D

Good to see you back on the Vault, hope to be seeing more of you :p

Nice little Merfolk kill combo I found is Silvergill Douser (to give -X/-0) and Merfolk Thaumaturgist (to switch power and toughness). A creature with 0 toughness dies (even an indestructable creture) :p

During the design and redesigns of this deck, I've been trying to make a deck where I don't attack :p

I understand what you're trying to say, but the "finisher" in this deck is Stronghold Discipline after I've fed the opponent enough creatures with the Agent and Orchard. With all the little bits of damage / life loss I'm doing while giving the opponent a small army allows me to play Stronghold sooner. Also I can and have won without Stronghold :p

Funny you should mention Poisonbelly, he was the inspiration for this deck back before Bloodseeker existed. The deck as evolved since then.

if I added a 3rd colour, this would almost be a completely different deck. A 3rd colour is tricky, but not impossible, Forbidden Orchard does add any colour mana. For a long time I had a splash of red in this deck for forcing the opponent to attack, but with the constant reconstruction of the deck, the red became useless :p

Oh but I have and won. With Sleeper Agent and Forbidden Orchard, I give creatures to the opponent :p

Ja, I don't know if I'd use it in this build, it seems a little iffy for this type of deck. It's a good card, but not for my liking.

I have yet to go against Infect (I mite tomorrow night) so I have no idea how this will do. After siding, I have a potential of 16 'fog' cards, so I'm not too worried :p

If you want to make this deck, put Mercy Killing in the side instead of Orzhov Signet. The reason I got the signet in there is because one of the guys I play against changes my non basic lands into islands, rendering them almost useless.

I'll try get my hands on a few then. The signets are there because of a guy who played a deck where he either changed the lands into islands and / or stole my dual lands :(

I just had an idea and reason to add Hunted Phantasm - Imprint Momentary onto Ischron Scepter to bounce the Hunted every turn making the opponent lose life thanks to the seeker and priest :p

Do you plan on using this deck in any tournaments? Because you're using cards that are banned in Legacy and Modern.

Actually 6 Mountains = 2 triggers.

I suggest getting a set of the Ravnica rare dual land Stomping Ground as it's a Mountain and a forest. I'd sugest getting the other dual Mountain and Froest, but I doubt you have that much money and / or are willing to spend that much on a land :p

That it would, but I kind of like the defensive feel of the current design. If I ever make an aggressive version of this, I'd definitely use the Mercy Killings and I'd also use Hunted Horror. I mite just design an aggressive version just to see how it feels :p
