It does not. I've tried Doubling Season in here before Parallel Lives existed and it slowed down the deck way too much.

Thanks
Really? It's just done like that because of some problem decks I've faced in Modern :p

The black is only really in here because I really like Putrefy.

I don't really have space in here to add draw. The pieces rely too much on each other to have anything removed. Also, draw was scarce in the initial build, so I went for increasing the redundancy :p

Thought of them. found them to be too slow. Also, I don't have enough cards that produce +1/+1 counters in here. Bramblewood Paragon only gives counters to my warriors.

I've gotten lazy at coming up with names for my decks, so this is how it turned out :|

I don't play Legacy. Costs too much money to compete with the top Legacy decks.

I know about Immaculate and Warcaller, but I've yet to test it's affect on the speed of this deck.
Prowess and Nath are cool, but I find them a little slow for competitive play. This deck's main advantage is its speed.
Wirewood Hivemaster is sadly not legal in Modern.
Huntmaster has been tested, but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. Its 4 mana was a little slow because by turn 3 my hand is normally empty...

Thanks for the suggestions anyway :)

Here we are, the latest version of the token one I run. Hope there's a few ideas in it for you.

My best Modern deck is my elf deck and its first formed in Lorwyn's Standard time frame. Though since then it has evolved into 2 very different decks since; one relying on numbers (mostly tokens), the other relies on mana efficiency (it's a stompy deck). What direction do you want to take this deck?

Guilgates are fillers until Temple of Abandon can be acquired.

I still need to finish my set of Magma Jets :/

My biggest problem at the moment is my funds are a little on the low side :(

Thanks for the suggestions.

Forgot about the Chimera :|
It's actually a perfect fit here.

Personally I'm not fond of permanently animating a land. Only replacements I can suggest are cards I've seen used against me. Mutavault and Haunted Plate Mail are ofven in the same deck (gets arounf Sepreme Verdict) and sometimes Assemble the Legion. All 3 are quite dangerious if the correct removal spell isn't played and that's only if said removal isn't countered. Best I can suggest for now.

It mite be a while until I have the deck up and running, but in the mean time, here's my other deck based on purposely giving creatures to the opponent:

Maybe it can give you some ideas

My main deck I use in Modern is an elf warrior deck (I should get around to posting it's current state :| ). This deck is the start of another idea.

I've found Obsidian Battle-Axe and Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to be a little slow for my elf warrior build, mostly because the ony 3 mana cards are lords (I count Joraga Warcaller in the 3 drops because 85% of the time I don't play him without kicking him at least once) and my hand tends empty before turn four. I still won't use Obsidian here, but I'll maybe try Oran-Rief.

I'm trying to decide if I should go with a 3rd colour (green or white) to make use of Mercy Killing :p

Also, the tokens you grant the opponent will cause Bloodseeker to trigger :)

Funny thing, I'm busy putting a deck together that's similar to this, except I'm using Illness in the Ranks instead of the Leyline, allowing me to play more than 1 Hunted Phantasm out at a time :p

I'd use Selesnya Guildgate while waiting for the Theros WG dual to get used to it's etb tapped.

I'm not yet sure how well it'll work, but I'm wanting to try the new scry spells along side Chandra to add a little more control over her 0 ability, problem is getting more of her to test it with. Last I checked, she's sold out from any online store I'd purchase from.

Talking about Supreme Verdict, instant speed indestructable would be good for that and in these colours, Boros Charm fits perfectly, but if you feel you need more Indestructible, Rootborn Defenses mite be worth considering, especially with Asseble now being an apotion. Still think a Jace or 3 would fit in here nicely :p I've found Gidion to be a nice destraction and I think Chandra's 0 ability could help as a pseudo 'draw', just need to wach the timing.
