Ever since I saw this:http://flappyb.deviantart.com/art/Emrakul-185836474I've refused to call the card by its actual name, instead I call it Tentacruel :P

Only sad part about using Piper to bring in Tetacruel is you don't get his 'take an extra turn after this one' effect :(
Just did a little research, the perma-exile works, but similar cards printed from M14 onwards are worded in a way that doesn't allow the perma-exile. So sacreficing ORing and Journey still works. Now to work them into my Auratog I've been tinkering on :p
I'm for this choice. I tried doubling in a few casual games and I wasn't fond of it. Though Ezuri should be more than enough in terms of 'overrun' effects, you can pump your copious amounts of mana into his 2nd ability and probably get more damage out of it than any other Overrun effect. (That's why I play 4 Ezuri's in my elf decks)
Infinite combo's aren't fun?
What mahes Heritage one of my favourite mana generators is it can be used immediatly, unlike the others that make you wait a turn.
Mite have been a comment about how future cards will be worded so that the perma-exile abuse can't be done on them...I'm not sure what you'd be willing to remove / lower the number on, but I feel a little iffy about Retether and Nomad Mythmaker as they can't return ORing nor Journey. Also with Auratog out, Gatherer of Graces's ability becomes less useful. Maybe drop each by 1 and add 3 Ethereal?
I've never thought of using Auratog to cause a pema-exile from O-ring and Journey. Though I remember reading something in the last rules update (M14's update) about erata on this type of abuse (though I could be wrong). Some cards you mite want to consider + their (red box) price:Aura Gnarlid $0.03eYavimaya Enchantress $0.10eUmbra Mystic $0.14eEthereal Armor $0.05eSpirit Mantle $0.21e
I was trying to run more, but I can't wiggle any more cards out :|I also just worked out an awesome plan that requires 13 lands to be out:Play Natural Affinity,Cast OverrunUntap with Rude Awakening. That's 13 5/5's with trample :P
Dam. Less than $20. I didn't even realise.
With all the mana you should be getting from Overgrown Battlement, Increasing Confusion could work nicely in here.
Dryad Militant and Soldier of the Pantheon are awesome turn one soldiers.Ballyrush Banneret helps for more soldiers dropping in one turn.Brave the Elements and Guardians' Pledge make very nice utility cards.
Have you thought of adding Elvish Spirit Guide? Could help for consistency.
I've not got a guaranteed way of getting the Prophet out (yet), so Plasm is a bit iffy to me at the moment. I'm in the process of convincing my friend to part with his Master Biomancers, once I get them, I'll see where I go from there.
I havn't really posted it yet, but there's a deck I'm working on for Standard. My biggest problem is I'm leaning heavy on the one colour I'm least good at playing: Blue :/ It's a Simic deck that I'm trying to acquire cards for. So far I'm leaning towards Heroic. Prophet of Kruphix is the main reason I'm trying to build this deck. When I get around to posting the deck, I'll be sure to let you know :p
Hmmm.... I'm thinking you need more cards like Wheel of Fortune / Wheel of Fate.
let's not forget that Green Sun can fetch Arbor Dryad for 0. That's turn 1, 2 lands
I don't play Legacy, so I can't help much here. That being said, I have some experience with some of the cards in here. Heritage Druid, for example, allows for immediate use of elves with summoning sickness, so I run it main board. Harbinger is nice, but between costing 3 mana and only putting the card on top of your library, I've found it better to leave it out, but that could also be because I don't NEED specific cards in my elf decks. Also, Green Sun does the job better. If you do choose to leave the Harbingers out, I'd suggest bumping Ezuri to 4x. I've come to keep 3 Elvish Champion in my elf decks' sideboards, works wonders against decks that run forests. Lastly, I'd only run 1 Arbor Dryad as it suffers from summoning sickness and is not an elf.As for the cards you want to try add (Vengevine, Fauna Shaman, Lotus Cobra and Evolving Wilds), all I can say is to test them and see what works for you. Personally I'd avoid anything that's not an elf, regardless of how good the card is on its own. In Fauna Shaman's case, do you really need more search than Green Sun? Lotus Cobra and Evolving Wilds don't seem to fit this deck, they're more for a dedicated landfall deck. Vengevine mite stay in your graveyard longer than you'd think. My experience with Talara's Battalion taught me that with the way I play, I wouldn't have enough creatures to cast in one turn to make Vengevine viable.Hope that I was some help.
Yes, the Stronghold version wants the creatures to live. I was only suggesting the Miasma and Batwing for if the opponent has creatures that live even if Illness makes them smaller. Maybe as a sideboard option? Stronghold was also built before Illness and Ratchet existed. My UB version will be more like your deck here: "kill the tokens!"
Huntmaster of the Fells and Immerwolf are never good in the same deck. Huntmaster wants to flip all the time, Immer stops him from doing so. Maybe add in some Rancors to replace what you take out? As for lands, a set of Kessig Wolf Run would work nicely here, especially since you got a set of Birds :p
