Wellwisher isn't Modern-legal, but awesome deck! It seems really solid.

My bad. I guess DIstortion Strike, Groundswell, Mutagenic Growth, Mutagenic Growth?

Distortion Strike is a way better unblockable card. It does nearly the same thing as Artful Dodge for 1 less and dishes out 2 extra poison counters.
Turn 1: Forest, Glistener Elf
Turn 2: Forest, Distortion Strike, Groundswell, Groundswell, game.

Negate may be more powerful than Cancel, since you're running 4 Dissolve anyway. You're just trying to protect your Biovisionaries, right? Negate will handle most kill spells; Mizzium Skin works well, too, plus it can trigger the Artisan. Cancel is just kind of clunky for a counterspell, since you need to leave three mana up at the end of each turn. So, replace it with Dispel, Mizzium Skin, or Negate.

The problem with Exalted Decks is that if somebody drops a Guard Gomazoa, you lose. You need to add in some unblockable, like Invisible Stalker or Phantom Warrior, or some removal.

There's this infinite combo with Horizon Chimera, Archangel, and Fathom Mage that lets you draw your deck.

Your mana costs are too specific to not run dual lands; at least Orzhov Guildgate or Temple of Silence.

Don't worry, Searing Spear is being reborn!
Just like everyone was asking!

It's everyone's favorite card in Standard!
It was played in all top tier decks!

Honestly, tho, R.I.P. old Standard.

Darksteel Citadel works well if you're looking for relevant artifact lands.

This is a really Go-for-the-Throat kinda deck, trying to burn their face for 20 by turn 4 or so. Magma Jet is good because it digs up what you need, and Shard Volley is also efficient, so I'll put those in.

As for the creatures, I've seen that no creatures are needed. There's simply more stress over blockers. I'd much rather top-deck a Bump in the Night than a Ball Lightning. Skullcrack and Flames of the Blood Hand are great not only for efficiency but for safety against Life-gain decks. This deck isn't black-heavy enough to run Sign in Blood.

All in all, I boarded in the Volley and Magma Jet for Shock and Searing Spear.

You cannot win with this deck (in most cases) without Guttersnipe or Nivix Cyclops. Thus, you must churn through your library to find them. Faithless Looting has the advantage of cheapness for the first cast and a Flashback cost. That means a single Loot can munch through 4 draw steps.

Anyway, the most important part of a combo deck is getting the stuff you need. That means wading through a bunch of junk. I personally feel like 4 Faithless Lootings go a long way, and are preferable to Desperate Ravings.
