Great deck! Mght want to add Time of Need. Selesnya Signet is better than the Borderpost. Otherwise, fantastic!

Why no Earthcraft? INFINITY SQUIRRELS!
18 lands is really meager for a deck that may want to spend up to eight mana on a singel creature. Trim your creature base; play maybe 2 Karametra's Acolytes, 4 Elvish Mystics and 4 Sylvan Caryatids, and no Manaweft Slivers; then maybe stop running 3x everything across the board, trim a couple of cards, and end up with at least 22 land. Plus, Stomping Ground and maybe Temple of Abandon could go a long way here to developing your mana base. Lastly, Domri Rade is awesome. He will help with your mana curve, considering your only three-drops are a couple of Scourges of Skola Vale. He'll generate card advantage, he'll fight Azorius Charm, he'll serve as a consistent removal spell . . . he's way better than Xenagos. Xenagos beats Desecration Demon, and that's about it. I've watched hours of competitive Magic, and Xenagos is only used for his 0 ability. I've only seen him +1 once. Domri Rade, on the other hand, has ultimated more times than Xenagos has been +1. So, basically, add more land and add Domri. And cut Vastwood Hydra.
You mean like a grave-power deck? I think it kind of fell by the wayside after Innistrad. Innistrad had Ghoultree, Splinterfright, Boneyard Wurm, and Tracker's Instincts, and then Return to Ravnica followed up with Jarad and Grisly Salvage and whatnot, but Theros gave it nothing except for maybe Nighthowler and Commune with the Gods.
There hasn't been a single card with Dredge printed since Time Spiral, seven years ago . . . so, I'm guessing no.
This deck is fantastic. It's great; I'd just play Mizzium Mortars over Magma Jet. It's awesome.Did I mention it's beautiful?
Not sure if this is a budget deck, because there a lots of better cards to work with than . . . *shudder* . . . Titanic Growth.
OH, clever. I'm impressed!
One problem: Orzhova, the Church of Deals is kind of pathetic. Vault of the Archangel is much better.
Auntie's Hovel and Cavern of Souls can help with man fixing.
Not quite sure how each of these combos work. I mean, I understand the first one: Sharuum needs to be in play, and then you need Sculpting Steel and Phyrexian Metamorph, because the artifact gets sacrificed, then another enters, copying Sharuum, but returning the first, copying the other again, then destroying Sharuum with legend rule. You have an infinite loop, and then you can use Disciple of the Vault or Bitter Ordeal to kill your opponent. However, I'm not sure how Sharuum fits into the Nim Deathmantle+ Perilous Myr equation. First, you use Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice the Myr and get 2 mana. But then you need 2 more to equip the Deathmantle each time? I mean, that's basically a combo that lets you deal increments of 2 damage for 2 mana. But where do you need Sharuum in that case? Same with Myr Battlesphere: where does the extra 2 mana come from? The Pili-Pila and Grand Architect Combo I understand. The scarecrow can pay the 2 to untap itself, then tap itself for 2 and get infinite mana of any color. How does the Ashnod Altar's combo work and how does Sharuum interact with it?
Maybe Springjack Pasture for flavor.
Cold-Eye Selkie: 1/1 for 3 mana. Not good enough.Lullmage Mentor: ability is too late-gameMerfolk Sovereign: A bad Lord of Atlantis or Master of the Pearl TridentMerrow Harbinger: Steals your draw, a 2/3 for 4 manaReef Shaman: Not Modern and not as good as Spreading Seas or Aquitect's WillRiptide Pilferer: ~ Sub-parStonybrook Banneret: Is really only going cheapen Merrow ReejereyTrue-Name Nemesis: Not Modern LegalBident: Really expensive for very little value.Merrow Commerce: Now we're talking! The question is what to take out . . .
Vizkopa Guildmage isn't needed because you can just gain infinite life and your opponent will concede.
I always thought Gridlock would be great for Heroic Decks, because you hold back all your guys on defense, then pop off a ton of Heroic triggers on one spell.
Yeah, the only things that gives counters are Vigor Mortis and Slitherhead
You could use Standstill
Even though Reincarnation was printed in Commander 2013, the card is not Modern. Sets like Commander, Planechase, and Duel Decks enter the eternal formats: Legacy and Vintage. Reincarnation is not Modern-legal. You can use Vigor Mortis instead; that's a pretty good replacement in a Golgari Reanimater build.
Too many tapped lands. That can really hurt your tempo.
The only tokens you should ever be populating is an Advent of the Wurm token, a Voice of Resurgence token, or a Godsire token.
