I suggest sliding in a couple game-winners here. Odric, Master Tactician can basically make all of your Godsires unblockable, Victory's Herald or Titanic Ultimatum is likewise pretty game-ending. Fires of Yavimaya is awesome if you're not aiming for Modern legality, and Wall of Omens is a pretty good blocker, sac candidate, and engine. Godsire decks get ruined when a.) someone Lightning Bolts their Behemoth's Herald on resolution and b.) When Godsire dies to Path to exile or some other shenanigan. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben can help in those situations, considering you're running all creatures except for Summoner's Pact.

I wanted something that fit into my curve better. If you want, I can take it out for Tome Scour?
So many better five-drops: Consuming Aberration, Phenax, Jace.
Thanks! It's really fun to just drop a cascade card, and then the board situation takes a full 180.
Also, maybe Psychic Strike over Dissolve.
Not Standard.
Running a full four Askiok is dangerous. He's seems only marginally better than Curse of the Bloody Tome, but you can only have one of him out at a time. I'd think Ashiok would often get stranded in your hand. Additionally, he doesn't damage your opponents through Duskmantle Guildmage or boost Consuming Aberration. I would also maybe add two Dimir Guildgates just to help with mana fixing; Bile Blight costs double black, while Wall of Frost and Dissolve take double blue. More land will also help you to consistently get land drops, getting Consuming Aberration or Phenax out on turn 5 or 6, or fire off a bigger Curse of the Swine. -2 Ashiok and +2 Dimir Guildgate.
Earthcraft for infinite Squirrels!
Giant Growth over Hydra's Presence; so much more reliable. Same with Domri Rade over Xenagos, the Reveler; constant advantage. Might want to cut Polis Crusher for Stormbreath Dragon, and take out a Legion Loyalist and two Satyr Wayfinder for three Polukranos. Lastly, cut the three Mortal's Resolve so your deck is 60 cards.
Umm . . . why would Stifle your own enters-the-battlefield trigger? Just use Torpor Orb, and then four Muddle the Mixture to find it.
I would put in Spectral Procession, Zealous Persecution, and Bitterblossom. Wizards retired the Extended format months ago; it doesn't exist anymore.
Sorry; I just wanted make sure you knew what I was talking about.
A couple of tips: it's kind of hard to hit a whole lot of targets in Standard with Searing Blood. I would recommend taking out two of those and one Xenagos Planeswalker for three Polukranos.
Because it has no mana cost. Djinn Illuminatus gives the spell replicate. The replicate cost is equal to its mana cost. But, it doesn't have a mana cost, so you can't replicate it. Past in Flames gives it flashback EQUAL TO ITS MANA COST, which DOES NOT EXIST. It does have a CONVERTED mana cost of zero; that's an attribute of a card without a mana cost.
Well, why don't you look and tell me some of those counterspells in the main deck. It's just, I think if you're going to play EDH, why just give your opponent the chance to Emeria all over your face? I'm not saying this deck is obsolete, but it has a weakness that is easily exploited. Don't get me wrong, it's a good deck.
One word, my friend: Iona.
Satyr Firedancer is sub-par here. Many of your spells (Izzet Charm, Mizzium Mortars, Fated Conflagration) only hit creatures anyway. Other than that, good deck. Oh, also, it should be called U/R Burn.
It has no mana cost, which is a converted mana cost of zero, which lets it be cast through cascade. It has no mana cost, so Djinn Illuminatus cannot make it replicate by paying its mana cost because it has none. It can't be given flashback equal to its converted mana cost because it has no mana cost. 5/1/2007: Cards with mana cost 0 (like Pact of Negation) and no mana cost (like Living End) have converted mana cost 0. They can be found with Tolaria West's Transmute ability. So, therefore, cascade finds it with a converted mana cost of 0 which is less than 3, so it becomes cast.
Spirit of the Labyrinth should be in the sideboard and brought in against decks which are aggressively drawing cards, like Blue/White Control. Maybe instead mainboard another two Fiendslayer Paladins, or, if you have the cast, some Brimaz.
No, it works. Cascade tells the caster that they may "cast the exiled card without paying its mana cost." The only restrictions on the five cards which don't have mana casts is that they can't be cast from your hand normally or from some other zone (like from your library with Future Sight or from your graveyard with Recoup). They may be cast without paying their mana cost if a spell tells them to, like Cascade or through Oracle of Bones.
