Daybreak Coronet?

Honestly I hate Athreos, he had a lot of promise but just doesn't preform.
I brewed around him a lot and he is just sure akward.
If anything would be removed that would be the card I would pick.

I have been trying to make a Zedruu Chaos deck, haven't got around to nabbing all the cards yet, but it seems really fun haha. Will be using *Thieves Auction, Hive Mind and Scrambleverse* and all the other fun cards.
Mostly enchantment based so I can make use of cards like replenish.

My other decks are Oloro(life gain bounce combo), Obzedat stacks and St. traft aggro.

Any of the blue decks I make always have Omniscience and Dream halls in them:P
They're hands down my 2 favorite commander cards haha.

Oh trust me I know all about drawing cards:P
My best commander decks are:
Arcanis and Nekusar(list on here is really out dated)

But yeah I understand that, I enjoy and commander that provides you with some sort of card advantage.
Either way its a sweet list.

I really like Woe reaper, super strong card in weenie decks.

I assume if you play a deck like this for tiny leaders you must love playing Olivia as an actual commander lol.

Oh trust me I know, I have a new born and it put a halt to most of my spending.
Between magic and gaming I hold some expensive habits.

If you want a counter burn deck try to nab a Nin, the Pain Artist.
(if you use her to damage your own creatures you get to draw the cards, industructible cards like stuffy doll work well with this idea.)

And np, EDH is a fun format, always good to get new players.
Just don't get discouraged if your friends stomp you for a bit haha. It will happen with a newer deck.

The best way to build an EDH start deck is build it with the cards you have.
Then slowly upgrade it and remove the cards you don't need until you have a very streamlined deck.

This is my Mono blue edh deck, fully finished and rather amazing.
Took a lot of time to finish but I got there. Started at like a 100$ deck(cards that i had already)
And just went from there:P

Nope your commander is the 100th card.
We normally put him in the sideboard jsut so it's clear who the commander.

Also you should build around her ability so try to accquire blue/artifact cards that can produce tokens.
Then get some beefy creatures you can polymorph them into.
Cards you should look for:
Polymorph
Mass polymorph
and then token/draw spells.

EDH is a 99 card deck plus your commander.
Also if Jalira is the commander you can have only blue cards/lands.

Yes, affinity like delve are part of the casting cost.

If you flashback a card with affinity or delve you don't have to pay the full cost. The reason being is it's a static ability that effects the cards cost.

Don't quote me completely on that as I am not a judge, I know delve works, I assume affinity would work the same.

Yeah, I have one also pretty broken card, makes SOOOO many combos happen haha:P

I am just not a huge fan of the specter in a modern esq format.

Do you have a budget? because it would almost just be better to use hedron crabs instead of nightveil.
With hedron crabs you would want 4-8 fetch lands.
