I'm so happy to see a new toy for Donate decks. This is also surprisingly well put together, and I appreciate seeing other win-cons, something a good number of IOG decks tend to lack -_-

I think you should bear in mind that you can donate the Pact early to catch an opponent off guard. Sure, they might get to use one of the nifty effects, but unless that somehow wins them the game, they're pretty screwed all the same.

I feel like there are better alternatives to Vivid Marsh for mana fixing. Well, I know there are...But some of them are stupid expensive. I think there are a few available to you that would keep this deck at its surprisingly low cost. City of Brass, for example, is not too costly and it would prevent the awkward "I have all the means to win, but not one blue mana to do it" scenario. If not City, you could even use Arcane Sanctum. It serves the same purpose as Vivid Marsh, and even has the same "speed" as Marsh, but it won't run out of counters.

Finally, I'm calling you a bastard, because you reminded me of Forbidden Ritual and all its diabolical glory, especially when used in EDH...Now I have a lot of editing to do >___>

I've only ever seen one other Gahiji EDH and it was very straight forward -- Just big beatsticks that used his ability to hit for huge damage. That's why I like this, it's not as simple as "Play big dudes, Gahiji boosts them all, swing for big damage". Sure, you have the option to do that, but the idea to use every bit of his ability...I really like that.

I have to agree with Glimmervoid. Also I think running a 12Post landbase would be more effective than the Urza lands, but I'm not sure.

I think if you're going to go for the full phyrexian mana theme, you need to lean more towards aggro than control. You need to kill them before you kill yourself. Keep the aggressive spells like dismember, but maybe replace Spellskite and/or Metamorph with Immolating Souleater, Gutshot, Mutagenic Growth, etc.

If you play too passive, you're going to be outpaced, and lose, or you will be waited out, spend too much of your own life, and lose. You're going in the right direction, but you need to replace the things that will make you lose, with what will help you win. Lose some life, hit them back harder.

Haha yeah this is an old "slap together" deck. Sometimes I'd want to test out a general idea and so I would make a deck like this were everything is just a 4-of. It obviously doesn't make for the most finessed deck, but the concept still gets across =]

I almost feel like Eidolon of the Great Revel would be better suited as a sideboard card. Yes, it's a great card, but with your curve, you'll end up kicking your own ass.

I have been busy as all hell with work and life as well, fell in lurv with this wonderful girl named Olivia, my sister had a daughter so now I'm an uncle...Things have been very chaotic and ever-changing, but I've been loving every second of it.

Never gone, just remarkably busy.

Yeah, it really only takes a few lands to be "burning" to make a noticeable impact. This deck is slightly different now than what I have currently posted here, so I'll have to update it when I get the chance.

I know I haven't posted anything in a long time. I have been working on this Alesha list, but I'm still not happy enough with it to post it yet. I have another deck that I might post up if I have the time though. It's not EDH, but it's a good deck.

I really have been way too busy lately, and I think soon things will slow down. This time around it's not just my job though. I've met a beautiful girl...and she's been keeping me quite busy =]
