It's kind of supposed to gas out. It's largely a storm combo deck, so it will kind of durdle about and then explode. It does all of its stuff in one turn. Hard to explain, as it's her deck and not mine...I don't really play combo much, but it does work fairly well.

I still lurk here and there, and use the site to post up/store decks I am working on, and recently I've been posting up some of my fiance's decks as well. Glad to see a bunch of you are still at the very least lurking
Spot Cleared for Vile Manifestation
Flourishing Defenses put into the SB to make room for Obelisk Spider.
Yeah that's the idea of an Entomb package. In this case it's almost entirely an Entomb/Snappy package, but I also have the ability to pitch Bloodghast and Riftstone Portal.Failure to Comply was actually one of the top contenders to be in the SB, but it lost out to other things.Raven's Crime is a perfect SB card, so thank you for reminding me of that. In many cases, its discard effect is not precise enough compared to Cabal Therapy or Thoughtseize. However, there are certain decks/games where all you want is to make your opponent discard indiscriminately, and that is where Raven's Crime is a monster of a card.
Made a number of changes to the mainboard and sideboard. Mostly added an Entomb package to the mainboard. Let me know what you all think! As always, any comments are greatly appreciated!
Spirits are my favorite creature type, and I've always wanted to see someone put together an Oyobi EDH, so props there. I forget its name, but in Amonkhet there's a white enchantment that is a color-shifted Parallel Lives. I think that would be very nice in here.
Yeah, it still has control aspects, but it's definitely pushed more to the aggro side for sure. It's how it has to be. It's an all-around dumb rule change, even if I didn't have a person connection I'd not like it...But the change literally killed Iso-Seek. That deck just can't be played anymore =/Thanks dude =]
Huh, I like it. As always very low budget, and this would be a good cheap deck to at the very least showcase the idea behind Extraction. Is this the end all be all of extraction decks? of course not, but I don't think that has ever been the point of your budget decks. This is a great way to open the door to a whole new style of play for certain players who, if they want to, can put more money into the deck type (a lot more money T_T) over time. I've seen a lot of "extraction" decks that don't really get the idea across and cost 5 times this...so bravo. This gets my stamp of approval =]
I'm currently working on an updated version of PAL that can run without the stick. Iso-Pox might also be able to have something built to work for it, but it's safe to say that Iso-Seek is totally dead =[
If you're playing it primarily in 1 vs 1 games you're going to have a rough time. This deck is mostly for multiplayer EDH games, where it dominates. It's strength lies in that it can kill everyone around the same time. In 1 vs 1, it often won't have the same freedom to set up, especially against faster dedicated 1 vs 1 decks that can make use of the extra draws.
Well, like I said, PAL has a good chance of surviving. I take a little bit of solace in that PAL was already starting to pull ahead of Iso-Seek and Iso-Pox as the best of the big three. It's been that way for a while, and now with its use of Plunge and Mentor, it's hard to argue against it being the best. It still really sucks to lose those other two. I'm pretty pissed to lose them. However, you take those decks away and it's still a very stupid rules change. Having the game see both halves of a split for a total mana cost makes no sense in the context of how split cards work. In almost every case, the simple solution is to have the game see the half that is being targeted/used/on the stack and ignore the other half. The ONLY major shenanigans that can arise from this is abuse of CounterTop, but that's not really a big issue. Seeing as you can't even use the other half of an Aftermath card until the first half resolves in my mind entirely destroys the idea of the game seeing both halves for total cost.
That's what it's supposed to do is make lots of buggos. This is a tribal insect deck for my shop's Tribal format. the decks use a certain creature type almost exclusively. For this one, it's insects.
PAL might be able to recover from this dumb change, given that it has some other options and tech...But Iso-Seek and Iso-Pox are completely dead now. Really really stupid rules change. I'm not happy.
=OI REMEMBER YOU!How's it been dude?
...Iso-Seek extraction is dead now. Wow.
Oooooh, I made a Nekusar EDH a while back. He's a lot of fun, and can nuke players with the right conditions, but I always run into the problem that he paints a huge target on my head.
Yeah, I've added in Nightmare Lash and Batterskull for those times I need to go full Voltron and smack someone for a bunch of commander damage all at once.EDIT: Not Nightmare Lash, Lashwrithe. The living weapon mechanic is fairly helpful.
All great suggestions. I've posted up what I have so far with the SB. Just need 4 more =]
I made some changes and added in C&D and Darksteel Plate. Those coupled with Diplomatic Immunity are flavorful and should work nicely.
