I am a huge fan of the lava spike, ritual, guildmage inf dmg combo for 3 mana. The rest of the deck looks like a good lockdown. Like always, you may want to look at your lands and see what may be better. Did you see my comment about Lackey?

to be totally honest, I had serious doubts since it's no regular TEPS, but I put it in Lackey and tested it out. I'm actually surprised and impressed. It works really well.

what is the obsession on this site for vine trellis? it definitely isn't the best mana producer out there. You have 3 colors, use BOP. Can only have 1 vamp tutor and 1 demonic, if you're set on restricted tutors put in 1 imperial seal and 3 diabolic tutors. But I agree with Eilineas.

You play vapors, then pithing needle, in response to your pithing needle I pay 0 and skip my next turn, vapors is gone when pithing needle comes into play. What do you do? and don't say wait until you get another one.

Just realized, forget worrying about the wheel, Oona removes them from the game. YAY! May want painter's servant, just to make sure you get those tokens. Along with that comes grindstone, if you have some money lying around.

ok, so before the game begins Caverns comes into play with a luck counter, at the beginning of your opponent's upkeep, you discard a spirit guide to add 1 mana to your pool and play flash to get the hulk into play, when it comes into play, since you didn't pay the mana cost of the hulk, it dies and allows you to search for all the 0 costs artifacts, 4 disciples and a feeder, then you sac the artifacts to the feeder and win on the upkeep of your opponent's turn.

Buried alive 3 Kokushos, have one on the board, patriarch's bidding. Target opponent looses 20 life, you gain 20 life. Good deal? You'll need 3 more dragons and the 2 spells but it's really funny to play on someone.

rusty411, the coolest part about this deck is that it is mill that can turn aggro. I mean, should there be some enchantment hate in sideboard, yes, but at the same time, Oona is a mill/aggro card so wheel of sun and moon by itself isn't going to be enough to slow this deck down, especially with a door of destinies or coat of arms out.

Also add Elvish Spirit guide in place of overrun.

Easier way to do this:

use the X cost artifacts that come into play with X +1/+1 counters on it, that way they come into play as 0/0 creatures and die, since they come into play at the same time as the disciples and THEN die the disciples activate, it basically takes out the feeders and makes room for pact cards that can help the win.
Example: Summoner's Pact to help get the Hulk, pact of negation to put a stop to Force of Will and Foil, etc.

And, I respect your decision to not play Orim's Chant, it + isochron is essentially cheating.

I use a program called Lackey to playtest decks. You run a magic plugin and can play against others on a server or play against yourself in a solitaire. It has every MTG card ever for your enjoyment and it's all free. Have fun!

I get it, but still. I run a mono-white control deck that runs the game on for a really really long time and it still doesn't run MC though. I mean, there is a reason that MC is 50cents and WOG is $10 though. Take a look at my mono white control deck for some more ideas. I think using persist with Heartmender is the greatest use of WOG effects and it essentially works just like MC (except your creatures have summoning sickness).

Never, ever, ever, side out WOG for Mass calcify. in fact, take it out of your sideboard for another WOG, it's 7 mana and WOG is only 4. Trust me, the 3 mana makes a HUGE difference.

Lotus Bloom has suspend so it comes into play turn 3 at the earliest. You need Black Lotus to pull this off. Not to mention that the likelihood of getting a 7 card turn 1 combo in a deck of 69 cards when you don't even have 4 of each piece is going to be monstrously difficult.

Here are the rules on Basic Lands:

* 205.4b Any land with the supertype “basic” is a basic land. Any land that doesn’t have this supertype is a nonbasic land.
o Example:
Note that cards printed in sets prior to the Eighth Edition core set didn’t use the word “basic” to indicate a basic land. Cards from those sets with the following names are basic lands: Forest, Island, Mountain, Plains, Swamp, Snow-Covered Forest, Snow-Covered Island, Snow-Covered Mountain, Snow-Covered Plains, and Snow-Covered Swamp.
* 212.6f Land subtypes are always a single word and are listed after a long dash. Land subtypes are also called land types. Lands may have multiple subtypes.
o Example:
“Basic Land — Mountain” means the card is a land with the Mountain subtype.
* 212.6g The basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. If an object uses the words “basic land type,” it’s referring to one of these subtypes. A land with a basic land type has an intrinsic ability to produce colored mana. (See rule 406, “Mana Abilities.”) The land is treated as if its text box included, “Image:Tap.gif: Add [mana symbol] to your mana pool,” even if the text box doesn’t actually contain text or the card has no text box. Plains produce white mana; Islands, blue; Swamps, black; Mountains, red; and Forests, green.

Basically, no, snow covered lands don't count.

Oh yes, one other thing, if you have reflex sliver, all your slivers have haste and so you can keep activating oona's ability over and over again with the creatures you created, then sac them to mill a TON, this will increase your creature output a lot. Sadly oona's ability costs X(B/U) or else this would be infinite, but it's still pretty amazing. If you include Intruder Alarm, this could really become infinite (even without the reflex sliver).

Llanowar elves is better than Vine trellis and BOP is MUCH better than them both, especially for a 3 color deck. Reflecting pool is great for this too. Wall of roots is a great 0/5 wall that creates mana (it does get weaker in the process but it only costs 1G). Maybe worldly tutor and/or sylvan tutor (they tutor creatures for G) in here to help you get your creatures faster in place of some of your long term plans and intuitions which are a bit slower (esp. long term plans). Pemmin's Aura is slightly better than freed from the real since it can give the creature shroud. Hope this helps.

you need some mana accel, use farseeks to bring out your breeding pools, search for tomorrow, rampant growth, all those. This way you can achieve whatever earlier on. Add tinker and artifact lands. Imagine paying 3 mana and saccing a land to put any artifact into play, it's killer. Also then your fabricates can search for lands. You can decrease the number of Oonas and Leiges and include sylvan tutor and/or primal command to search for creatures, since oona is legendary anyway it isn't like having more of her is better when you have all that searching. Same deal with coat of arms, you don't need 4 and sideboard door of destinies just in case your opponent is playing tribal.

ONE LAST THING, I promise. Sideboard stifle to deal with some unsightly things you may not expect, like equiptments and otb abilities that may cause you problems.
