I'd love to hear what you think of the deck!

For the record, Wall of Denial laughs at Brittle Effigy from under its shroud.
Vengevine is a 4 of beast. Its like a green cousin of DoR. Only trouble is casting 2 creatures to trigger it. Gravecrawler works nicely for this. It would be nice to have another creature to bring in on the cheap.Maybe Big Game Hunter? Madness would work well, I thinkGorgon Recluse, Grave Scrabbler could work too.
No problemo!Glad to see the Budget Muse still graces you.
Northy! I like it!Fantastic! I love decks like this!Kamahl, Pit FighterVulshok Sorcerer (my favorite of the pingers)Rod of RuinYou have a fair amount of ETB effects, would Stampeding Wildebeests/Serow help?I also like Harrow. This looks like fun! Like +1
I posted this above, but wondered if its bad form to respond to a comment in the middle of the posts. So i'm reposting it here.Have you considered Hellcarver Demon? It goes with the theme of this deck, is a monster and could let you cheat in some huge baddies. Life from the Loam would help mitigate land loss.

Here's a modified clone of your deck to illustrate what I'm talking about.http://www.mtgvault.com/shinza/decks/hc-loaded-for-bear/
I like this one!I tried to access your dragonstorm one, but was brutally denied "marked as private"The mana ramp makes the pricey dragons realistic. The combo is ruthless and the potential for 6/6 dragon tokens is cool. One of my favorite cards is Infiltrator Lens. Its so cheap and in a deck like this one, it would fit well. You know which attacker will get blocked. Might as well get 2 cards per blocker for the trouble. Would help draw into the combo. Here's another crazy thought. Pit fight. Its an instant at 2 cmc (hybrid) and you can use your slumbering dragon for it (as a fight is neither attacking nor defending). Let your 7/7 dragon, who is still napping, whup some ass in his sleep.Another thought would be Branching Bolt. 3 cmc instant that targets 2 creatures (1 flyer, 1 grounder) for 3 damage each. Its a 2 for 1 to help early going. At any rate, Like +1.
Both seem pricey to me, but Living End appears markedly cheaper.Sounds like you have a winner!Go for it! Carpe Diem! Excelsior! Have at it!and of course, post it :)
This is awesome! Nicely done. You need a way to consistently bounce.Isochron Scepter? Also, why Ensoul Artifact? Is that to buy time to get possibility storm out?Maybe consider Delver of Secrets or Slumbering Dragon as a time buyer.Like +1
Hmm... Both essentially hinge on one card. Both can be fun. Maybe price it out? Given your current collection, which would cost less to create?
Well, hexproof is a pain. That is the problem, right? What happens in the games you lose?Specifically, do you get swarmed or Bogled (by a few super-amped little slippery buggers you can't get a knife on)?If its the latter, you might consider white instants that say, "Target player sacrifices an attacking creature"Celestial Flare and Dispense Justice come to mind.Dispense Justice is the better of the two, especially if you happen to have 3 artifacts out. Even if you don't, the mana requirements are easier to manage in a deck with 3 colors.Which brings me to my next (and perhaps more "wingnut") idea. What if your sideboard included an artifact suite? The kind where you essentially sub in a massive amount of artifacts and Dispense Justice? It is bizarre, but on the upside, it would not change your mana base.Elspeth's ultimate ability would work nicely in concert with that too.Meddling Mage already might be helpful, but may not catch the Bogle in time. How is Rest in Peace and Grafdigger's Cage working out? Any issues with Snapcaster Mage when you play those?Hope this helpsLike +1
Dkrocka,I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a spirited debate. The best ideas get generated that way. Fun.Brownjacketftw,I enjoy this deck concept. If nothing else, it prompted me to consider the role and limitation of timing in the application of winning.Thank you.AjaniBeastMode,Social misstep of said "bogarting" acknowledged, I will risk perpetuating the gaff by saying the following:I will look at the deck.
Well, I have favorites and will play them and then set them aside for awhile. Picking them up again to play is a happy reunion, especially as new cards come out that smooth rough spots. I've also dismantled/sold decks that I then get a hankerin' for and regret it. Both tron and twin are popular, both can be fun. For me, the lion's share of the joy is in the construction and tweaking, so I'd encourage you to try something new. Having said that, if you have the option at all to make the new AND keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold.
Ok. I moved Nip to sideboard to add 2 land and another Mourning Thrull and Nightsky Mimic. While this tanks my turn 1, it also means that all my creatures are 2cmc.It also means I live in fear of Steel Hellkite, Consume the Meek, Engineered Explosive, Austere Command, and Culling Sun.I can live with that.
That's a great point! 18 land is definitely questionable.I may have to revisit that.Serra's Sanctum! Of course! Shoot. Should have been mine!
By all means, tell me what you think!Enjoy!
Well, Here it is! Orzhov without haunt and extort.Enjoy!http://www.mtgvault.com/shinza/decks/orzhov-for-the-consequence/
Here it is...http://www.mtgvault.com/shinza/decks/to-appear-dimir/I think I will do another. Feels like I missed the spirit of the challenge, though I think the idea is cool.
