that's true, but it doesn't give storm count, and it won't trigger my creatures because I am merely copying the spell, and not actually casting it a new time.

now if I wanted to use it as mana ramp that would work because it gives me an extra mana each time I do it. so I could use it to fuel Banefire or something...

Voltaic key is rather good. and would allow for that. :)

Love liquimetal coating. When Scars of Mirroden was released I built a R/G deck with Hoard-Smelter dragon and an infinite mana Myr combo, to use the two Coatings I had in it. It wasn't very good, but my play group was super limited and it ended up doing really well. Lol...
Wish there was a consistent way to use Coating more than once a turn.

Thing in the ice isn't a piece in any major decks that I can recall. So... It probably won't be.
In fact this is really the only viable deck based on thing in the ice I have seen in standard, much less competitive in standard.

That being said I could be wrong.

He did after I posted the link to the 3rd deck, yes. I only posted two originally but not the two I thought. I thought I posted my white green enchanted evening deck, by I posted my white blue one instead. Then posted my white green one afterwards.

And I am grateful for all the advice he gave. Helped my decks out a lot.

Oh man. Thank you! That actually helps a ton. This deck is so scattered right now it isn't even funny.

Mana rocks are a great idea, as is delay! Will swap foil and daze. And judge's familiar to replace weathered wayfarer I think. And serum visions for Cartographer.

And I love supreme verdict. Fantastic wrath card.

Just need to find a place to fit the mana rocks. Hmm... Oh yeah... Land tax can go.

Funny that you mention borderposts because I actually have a deck with 17 of them in it that uses Restore Balance to clear the board of lands. Need to swap it for Balance.

Yeah, people like playing magic when they play magic, or so I have gathered. :)
Prison is nasty, and control is super annoying when done right. Nothing is worse than having your spells countered and your turn ruined.

Any advice you could give be great.

Fascinating article. I admit I have never played at anything more than standard or draft, and never more than a local level, so my exposure to modern and eternal format decks is very limited. That being said I am a fan of Ponza, but wouldn't know how to build or play it properly.

That being said I did design a modern deck recently, buy I have no idea if it's good or not. I think so but, as I said, I have no experience playing that format.

Love a good land destruction deck. Looks solid. ??

I think I found a suitable replacement for renounce in greater gargadon, though it give me no life, it also is harder to deal with because it isn't on the board, but allows me to sacrifice for free.

And yes I know I could easily make this B/R but I want to go the unusual route and so white sacrifice. I mostly play casual so format isn't too much of an issue normally but you are right. If I want to play modern with this renounce has to go. And I think greater gargadon might be faster anyways.

while it is an interesting concept.. I think your version might be weak to removal and counter magic.
would also be good to run some fetch lands to make sure you have the right mana.
