good idea! I like it. I feel there are several formats that need to be added to both the format option on the deck page, the format legality indicator, and the card search. also they need to fix the power and toughness search options in the card search. as of right now if you search for a card by the power and/or toughness options... you get an error.

one word: Arena. this is technically a historic deck but the vault does not have historic as a format.that being said... I could certainly use much better ramp spells if I dipped into older formats.OH, and if you want to post a link you put double brackets [[]] around a card name. and the card name cannot have an apostrophe in it.as for [[crop rotation]], not a bad idea. but that is what [[dig up]] is for. the cleave cost can get me any card. including both combo pieces.
always a fan of taxes decks. white taxes can be super fun. this deck looks pretty fun I think.my thoughts:50 feet of rope doesn't tap things. just keeps things tapped if they are already. I missed that when I first played with it.the other thing I would point out is that the only creature that makes sense to crew the vehicle is the fledgling, which gets bigger than it after a couple of turns, and is the same mana cost. I would say if you want to keep the boat you might want some 1 drops to make it worth your while, or swap the vehicle for something better long term. a crew of 1 is enticing, but the rest of the deck doesn't really fit with it.I just for see you tapping either a bigger or more evasive creature most of the time to crew it.I also agree with WDM about fetch lands. even in a mono colored deck they are useful. for landfall, such as the fledgling, or just deck thinning so you are less likely to flood out.
[[Deekah, fractal theorist]] reminds me of [[shark typhoon]], but with +1/+1 counters.
I guess that because they intentionally left the "clone" section in the description, which can be traced back to you as the originator of the deck they are hoping you get implicated even though you have nothing to do with them.Honestly I had mostly dismissed WDM's claims of trolls etc, but after yesterday... I'm not so sure anymore. I saw the exact actions he was talking about happen in real time on the new /active page. That and a $40k double signed beta black lotus was stolen just like WDM described these people were doing. Coincidence? Probably, but still.
I have always liked copy decks. they can be super fun. my brother and I came up with one a while back for casual play.it doesn't copy your own things, like this one does, it steals and copies your opponent's things. super fun.https://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/copy/oh, and speaking of clone decks... could you give me some advice on this one?https://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/interesting-2/
well, it is called How to tribal deck. it has a mainboard with a scattered attempt at a knight tribal deck, and the sideboard is a more focused and usable knight tribal deck.
even if the deck isn't new I like giving advice to new people.um... sure I can create a deck with this as an article for helping new people.
I think I see potential here. but it is a bit scattered. if you focus the deck a bit, it could be pretty good. or at least a good start. My advice for a new deck builder is to pick a strategy or common theme that all your cards follow, and build around that. stick to about 60 (but no less) cards, and keep your lands between 20-25 cards.when you are first learning to build a deck, the simplest way to build a cohesive deck with a theme or strategy is to build a "tribal" deck using all or mostly all the same creature type because they can build on each other and buff each other. like... [[inspring veteran]] buffs other knights or [[venerable knight]], that can only give a counter to another knight creature when it dies. and non creature spells that either only work with your creature type, or work better with your creature type, like [[joust]]. makes a knight bigger for a turn, and can kill an opponent's creature. in the case of this deck I would recommend cards like [[history of benalia]]. it creates knights, and then pumps knights. or [[tournament grounds]]. it helps you have the colors of mana you need for your knight or equipment spells.the ideal way to look for cards for a deck like this is searching for cards with the tribe (in this case "knight") in their text. this will find you cards that specifically work with knights. buffing them, giving them abilities, things like that. these will make your deck stronger than just putting in a bunch of creatures because they share a creature type.In this deck I see several knights, several soldiers, and... a Zubera. if you are looking to build a tribal knight deck (which seems to be the general idea here), having too many non-knight creatures is a hindrance, even if they seem to be good or powerful creatures, they often don't work with the core of the deck. so cutting creatures that are NOT knights would make the deck more consistent with itself. in addition, seeing which knight cards are actually good, and which ones are just ok, and bumping those good ones up to 4 copies if you can, will also help.for examples of what tribal decks look like:my Druid deck:https://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/druidic-fury/and my defender deck:https://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/defender-deck/(strictly speaking it is a "tribal" deck because all the creatures share an ability, rather than a creature type, but the idea is still very much the same)though these may not be the best of decks, they can give you a better idea of how a tribal deck functions.hopefully this helps. :)
an interesting take on player personality types.
fair enough. I myself have some... odd card decks that I really like. such as using [[roar of jukai]] with [[tainted remedy]] and arcane spells that cantrip into more arcane spells such as [[eerie procession]]. or using [[alabaster leech]] and [[painter's servant]] and [[harmless offering]] effects to lock people out of casting spells.EDIT: too bad we can't do links for cards with ' in the name. I am sure there is some delimiter for it, but I have no idea what it is. :(
yeah, they have to be even to work with Gyruda's ability. they could be 2, 4, 6, 8, etc... but have to be even.
I guess so... but even still it comes at the cost of making it more likely that you will whiff on your gyruda ability. Gyruda works best when you can chain it over and over again.perhaps [[Spark Double]] or [[Mirrorhall Mimic]] might fit better? they don't have the utility of also being extra lands, but [[Mirrorhall Mimic // Ghastly Mimicry]] does some pretty impressive things and can even gyruda multiple times if it gets killed, via the Disturb ability. [[Spark Double]] can copy a planeswalker if you need it too, and it comes in with extra P/T or loyalty counter. AND disregards the legendary rule.
only issue with [[Glasspool Mimic // Glasspool Shore]] here is that [[Gyruda, doom of depths]] cannot bring it back from the graveyard, as it is an odd mana cost rather than even. [[phyrexian metamorph]] is a good call though.
I agree. A board wipe could be useful. And I think if a planeswalker fits here it might be [[Liliana, Dreadhorde General]]. A little bit slow, but the card draw is very synergistic with what this deck wants to do already, and refills your hand very easily, as well as being a sacrifice outlet and a token generator all in one. And that card draw is what I think this deck lacks.
Lifelink is not a particularly prevalent ability in most formats. Although I would say a board wipe could be useful.
Honestly, it's all about a rotating rock/paper/scissors between deck Archetypes, and werewolves loses to different decks than dragons does. So I'm not sure I would say one is better overall than the other, as they each have their strengths and weaknesses.
Wanna know what is scarier than D&D in mtg? my little pony in mtg.https://www.distractify.com/p/my-little-pony-magic-the-gatheringthat being said, I think this is a good build. and I like the stats. great breakdown. concerted defense is a bonkers counter spell.
I think that [[liquimetal coating]] is strictly better than [[myr landshaper]].either way. I like the deck. always fun to turn things into artifacts. :) the deck gets my +1.
kind of... you can't hit basic lands with [[surgical extraction]]. [[splinter]] and [[liquimetal coating]] let you exile lands. specifically you can hit a land already out and deprive your opponent of all copies of that land not already out for the rest of the game. this works particularly well against decks that run a lot of basic lands.
