Yes. The combo works. I am about 90 percent sure of it. It can become an infinite combo.

All I want for my birthday is a big booty ho!
I am thinking...that if you are going to play Time Vault...that you should win after you play it. I mean, you should never have to worry about skipping a turn.
Elvish Piper...that card would be great for this deck. It is probably expensive though. It would SOOOOO speed up your deck. With Elvish Piper and cards like Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic...you could put Emrakul on the table on turn 4 or 5.
Umm...needs mana ramp. Or you need to remove a few of your high cost mana cards. Would suggest something like Birds of Paradise. Utopia Tree. Stuff like that. More Arbor Elf or Elvish Mystic would also work. Or more Llanowar Elves. I am guessing by turn 3 you are wanting to have about 6 mana. The cards I suggested are probably not Modern. But...that is the idea...drop a few of your higher costing mana cards and add in replace of them more mana producers. It should speed the deck up.Good luck.
Okay. Will look at it.
Creatures...maybe to consider...would be:Ashmouth Hound. Bladetusk Boar. Coal Stroker. Emrakul's Hatcher. Exava. HellSpark Elemental. Smog Elemental. Carnage Gladiator. Stuff like that. And Purphoros, God of the Forge too.The deck I just described isn't a burn speed deck. The deck is more suited for control. It tries to hinder the opponent's creatures. It tries to stall the opponent.
Prophetic Prism. Would be my artifact pick. Read the Bones. Pyroclasm. Dreadbore. Devil's Play. Act of Treason. All of those would be good Sorcery cards. Cower in fear. Magma Jet. Murder. Searing Spear. Terminate. Volcanic Geyser. Those would be good Instant cards. Contaminated Ground is a decent Enchantment. That is a start. I would recommend creatures that have in their casting cost, 1 colorless mana. Since you are playing Rakdos...it would be pointless to play a creature like Tormented Soul. I mean, if you have Rakdos on the board, and have Tormented Soul in your hand...Rakdos will not make Tormented Soul cost any less. So, choose creature cards like Hellspark Elemental. Good luck.
Can't help much here. I do not play Standard. But...I would suggest you decide what you want your red color to do and what you want your black color to do.With playing Rakdos, you need to take advantage of creature cards. I mean, if Rakdos makes your creatures cost less...then you need to run a lot of creatures.Also...would only play one Planeswalker. Also...I never recommend (ever) using any card which cost 6 mana or more to cast. So I would take out every card that cost 6 mana or more. If you run cards that cost a lot of mana...it pretty much slows down your game. Good luck.
NIce thoughts. I believe they have so many options to choose from!
Yeah, that is the thing. Grindstone and Painter are a very nice combo...but very expensive.
Painter's Servant has so much potential!
*those cards were made to destroy this deck.*
Oh, indeed. This deck could be raped. Easily. Several cards do it. Ajani Vengeant. Armageddon. Boom/Bust. Catastrophe. Desolation Angel. Devastation. Impending Disaster. Ravages of War. From the Ashes and Ruination...those cards would be absolutely brutal against this deck. That card was made to destroy this deck. But that aside...I kinda like the theme of the deck. As far as themes go, I like it.
Stupid fag brothers! Haha. Joking aside, deck seems like it would work. I agree with Greenee, this deck feels like it would work.
Explain how this works.
I like Reverberate over Dual Casting.
I like the idea.
Looks killer.
First idea...umm, it was simply to make a deck using some of the better all around cards that you have.
