Give me some money! lolJoking aside, I honestly do not like Piledriver. I think he is overrated. Pure and simple. And Ether vial rocks. Super expensive, though. Check this out, friend, and Vial is really not needed.Turn 1. Lackey.Turn 2. Warren Instigator. Attack with Lackey and Bring in Krenko. 1 damage.Turn 3. Chain Lightning and Lightning Bolt blockers. Attack with Lackey and Instigator and bring in Goblin Chieftain and Siege-Gang Commander. Tap Krenko for 8 1/1 Goblins. 5 damage.Turn 4. Tap Krenko for 16 2/2 Goblins. Now you have 16 2/2 Goblins that can attack next turn.Plus you have a 2/2 Lackey, a 2/2 Instigator, a 2/2 Goblin Chieftain, 3/3 Siege, 11 2/2 Goblin Tokens in play that can attack this turn. 31 damage on Turn 4. 37 damage total damage on Turn 4. Turn 5, Just on Turn 5 you are looking at 40 something damage.

Yes, Invigorate, Indeed.
Fireblast. Add it. Take out Thunderbolt for it. Fireblast is uber fast.
Lure/Deadly Allure works nice to make creatures have to attack. And Deadly Allure has buyback! I liked the deck. I like Explore. Helps find a land, for you. I might consider running a one mana deathtouch creature over Greater Basilisk. Something like Pharika's Chosen or Wasteland Viper. Good luck.
Noticing you are running Vampire Nighthawk in a couple of your decks, I agree, it is a nice card.
Counterspell instead of Cancel. Or take out Essence Scatter and put in Counterspell. Ponder is keeping your deck banned. Consider Index, it is a very nice card.
Thanks. I will check out your decks.
I liked it. Good luck
No, I sale myself out, on this site. Idea is that if i want any help out my decks...if i want advice, I first try to give it to other people. I don't mind. I like trying to make decks better. Again, thanks for the advice.
Nice. I one upped your comment (I liked it). Since I have Ambush Viper, Wasteland Viper, and Deadly Allure...Pharika's Chosen seems like a better fit. Thanks. If there is any decks of yours, that I can comment on, just say so.
http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/creature-challenge-5-humans/Calling you out again...need help with Challenge #5. Never made a human/weenie deck before. Any advice would be awesome.
First, the compliments. Good job. Lots of nice cards in this deck. I like how you are using Viridian Longbow.Revenge of the Hunted is also an interesting card, for it's miracle cost. And Sign in Blood, also very good. Have you considered Grim Affliction? Grim Affliction/ Golgari Charm combo is nice. Basically, for 5 mana you are going to get to put -2/-2 on every single creature your opponent has. That is interesting. I like it better than Tragic SlipI find it interesting that you are trying to run both discard cards and infect cards...is the deck solid like that? Good luck!
I am always up to looking at decks. Hope I can help. Thanks for liking my deck.
Idea is like this, folks:Turn 1. Play Plains. Play Martyr of Sands.Turn 2. Draw and Play Plains. Tap Martyr of Sands revealing 5 white cards, gain 15 life. Now play Serra Ascendant, which is a 5/5 flyer with lifelink. Life gain is 15Turn 3. Draw and Play Plains. Tap Martyr of Sands revealing 4 white cards, gain 12 life. Play Rest for the Weary to gain 8 life. Now attack with Serra Ascendant to gain 5 life. Life gain total is 25. Turn 4. Draw a Play Plains. Pay 4 Mana to play Test of Endurance. Attack with Serra Ascendant to gain 5 life. Life gain total is 5.Turn 5. If you have 50 life or more, and Test of Endurance is in play, you win the game. So far, using this example, you have gained 35 life. You started with 20, so you have a potential life total of 55 points. There is a chance you have won on Turn 5. If not. Turn 6. Draw a card. Tap Martyr of Sands revealing 3 white cards, gain 9 life. . Attack with Serra Ascendant for 5 more life, cast Swords to Plowshare on Ascendant to gain 5 more life. Total life gain 19. Potential life total at 84. You need 50 to win. Or simply cast a Beacon of Immortality to gain 55 life. Total life potential is 110.
No. The dragons you spoke of all rock!!! I promise. They were good suggestions. Just not what was needed. Things I am looking for is speed/haste/flying/mana ramp. Thanks for helping out!
Here is how she rolls.Turn 1. Play Mountain. Play Dragonmaster Outcast.Turn 2. Play Mountain. Play Desperate Ritual. Play Dragonspeaker Shaman.Turn.3. Play Mountain. Play Rakados Pit Dragon. Attack for 2. Turn 4. Play Mountain. Play Seething Song. 6 mana total. Pay 4 life and 2 mana for Moltensteel Dragon. Pay 3 mana for Bladewing. Your hand is empty now, Pit Dragon has double strike. Pay 1 mana to give Pit Dragon +1/0. Attack for 10 damage.Turn 5. Play Mountain. Play Thunder Dragon doing 3 damage to every creature your opponent has that does not have flying. Now attack with Dragonspeaker Shaman, Pit Dragon, Bladewing, and Moltensteel Dragon to do 18 points of damage. Plus you have the option of paying 2 life/4 life/6 life/8 life/ to pump up Moltensteel to do extra damage. Total damage on Turn 5 is 30 points, not counting extra damage that Moltensteel could of done.
The dragons you mention are more about raw power. The 4 dragons i have are all about speed. The idea is that I am trying to forget about everything but pure fast damage. Most of the cards you mentioned do not have haste and you have to pay extra mana (which takes extra turns) to do their abilities. Pit Dragon has the potential to be absolutely insane, if you think about it. Play him on the 4th turn. 5th turn, with an empty hand, pay 5 mana to pump him up with flying and power. He is now a 6/3 flying with Double Strike. That is 12 damage! Rorix Bladewing. No powers seem lame, at first. But see how he has both haste and flying. Ouch. That means he is going to be attacking the very second I cast him out. On Turn 4. With 3 cards: Assault Strobe, Desperate Ritual, and Seething Song...I can have a 6/5 flying/haste creature attack with double strike. That is 12 damage! Thunder Dragon...no one runs this Dragon!!! Even though he is rated 4 out of 5 cards, no one runs him! I do not know why. At first he seems lame, like Bladewing. But look at what he does, when you cast him you are basically casting a free Lighting Bolt to every single creature in the game that does not have flying. Cool right? No? Then consider every single creature in your deck has flying but 1! So his attack is only going to kill most of your opponent's creatures, and leave all of your dragon's intact. PLUS, it does not TARGET any creature...so stuff like shroud won't protect you. Do you know how much mana it would take to make Ancient Hellkite be able to do that!? Thunderclaw Hellkite, he runs together with Dragon. He will give 1 damage to every single creature with flying that your opponent controls, plus cause them to tap (making them unable to block). Guess what, he has Haste/Flying too. So he is going to be attacking the very first turn he is cast. Add in an Assault Strobe or a Fists of the Anvil, and he is a beast! Examples of why these dragons are pretty good:If Hellkite and Dragon are being cast together on the same turn...which if you cast out a Dragonspeaker Shaman and have Desperate Ritual/Seething Song, you can cast them both out on Turn 5!!! This is what you get: You get a 5/5 Dragon with flying and a 5/5 Dragon with flying and haste. Your opponent has every creature without flying receive 3 damage (considering it is only turn 5, most of his creature's defense will be 3 or less) and every creature with flying is made to tap and take 1 damage. Now you can attack with the Hellkite, if you want. Next turn they have very little creatures and you have 2 5/5 flying Dragons.
I mean...I am building 12 different decks. 2 Artifacts decks. 10 creature decks. 2 creature decks of each color. Then I am going to have a tournament to see which Creature is best creature. So far I am on deck number 4.
Think this deck is okay? About to build deck number 4 of the Creature Challenge touney. Dragons.
One up on your advice for Overwhelming Stampede. It is iffy....but if I have a Rancor and/or Bloodrush a Slaughterhorn before I cast Stampede...it means Stampede could cause more damage than Overrun. Thanks Kazzong. Looking at the Merfolk deck. The Angel deck. And this Beast deck...whom has the edge for being the best creature?Dragon deck is next.
