Posted it. Looks nice. I have never played exalted before...but it seems like a good idea to back them up with pump up and shroud. I like how you choose that option.

I especially like the sideboard, solid!

Take out the Sigiled Paladin. It cost double white mana, which might be hard to draw the lands. Instead, Qasali Pridemage. 1 green and 1 white is easier to cast vs Sigiled Paladin. I know, I know, Paladin has first strike. But do you really need first strike? I mean, you have 12 cards in this deck that make it hard for your opponent's to block your creatures. So first strike isn't vital.

The real reason to run Qasali Pridemage (in my novice opinion) is that you can sack her for 1 mana and destroy target artifact or enchantment. There are some people that play some brutal Artifacts/Enchantments. It is nice to be able to nuke them.

Good luck.

Sorry, friend. I didn't mean any harm. Just saying you have 5 black cards and 39 red cards. That is a big difference...i was just noticing that. I was suggesting maybe the deck could have more black cards. Something like have 30 red cards and 14 black cards...or something like that. Or maybe, since you only have 5 black cards in the entire deck...maybe you could take them out all together and make the deck totally red.

I liked the deck.

Posted it. Looks fun. Running blue, in the 2 mana drop deck, allows for Muddle the Mixture. Which rocks.

Really over balanced here...with your mana. 5 cards total. Maybe add more, or go totally black.

Maybe add some Deathrite Shaman. He could team up with Grim Lavamancer...maybe.

Vendetta. Emergency creature control. Tragic Slip works well with burn. Nuke a creature with a Lightning Bolt...then cast Tragic Slip. Fatal Blow works the same.

Suffer the Past...also works like Grim Lavamancer.

Memory Sluice may work on yourself. Make 4 cards go to your graveyard...then use Lavamancer or Deathrite Shaman to do damage.

Good luck.

Added to the list. Looks nice. Just got back into Magic about a year ago...and faced, for the first time, a mill deck. At first I was wondering what the hell he was trying to do, making me put cards in my graveyard, but I quickly realized (as my deck got smaller and smaller) what he was doing. It was too late. lol. He beat my butt.

Anyways, good job.

NIce. One up for me.

I might consider something, even if you just put it in the sideboard, that takes care of Artifacts and Enchantments.

Adding it to the Mana Challenge list.

Good job.

Very nice. Then yes, with that combo, I would suggest search power.

Dizzy Power is worth a try...even though it is a double blue card (birds of paradise gives you mana). It will get you both of your Mentor and Cryptologist.

But...with only 4 dryad arbor...definitely need a land search card, right? I would say that is more important than a Dizzy Power card.

Crop Rotation maybe...it is uber cheap, 1 mana, but you have to sac a land.

Cards that find any lands are rare to come by...maybe. Most search for basic lands.

Good luck.

Like the deck!

Wait..i missed it...could you tell me how the combo works?

Search engines, huh? Transmutes, lots of them are blue. Plus stuff like Index, Impulse are options. Tutors are options. Idyllic Tutor...not as good as the Tutor you have in the deck though. Sylvan and Worldly Tutor will get you a creature.

Wow...did not expect this. Elves vs. Goblins. Goblins built up a massive army on Turn 4 and 5....but it was Elves that came out in front via 2 back to back squalls, 5th and 6th turn. Elves let Lacky attack unblocked for 3 turns while they built up their Elf count...taking massive damage with Krenko and Wizards, getting down to 3 life before they dealt a 10 damage Squall to the Goblin deck. In all rights, after the 6th turn, Goblin deck had Elf deck, but thankfully for the Elves...it didn't go to Turn 7.

Elves vs Goblins
Turn 6
Elves 3 life and Goblins 0
Elves 1-0
Goblins 0-1

Deranged Hermit? It will give you 4 1/1 squirrel tokens. You can not choose to pay the echo and still keep the 4 1/1 tokens. Use them with Mirror Entity to have a small army. Or you can choose to pay the echo cost...and he will give all your squirrels +1/+1. And since Mirror Entity turns everything into squirrels...even your elves/birds would be given the +1/+1 squirrel bump. Worth a thought.

Anyone want to try their hand at a 2 drop deck?
A deck with nothing but cards that cost 2 mana.

I will post it on that link.

Good luck.

Blah, blah. I hate losing against a token deck!

lol

I would not play this deck, because, again, I hate losing against tokens.

Like where you took the Mirror Entity idea.

Good job.
