Thanks for all of the advice. I have a lot of cards to look up now. Yeah, definitely will have to revamp it using some of the cards you mentioned.

Oh...i didn't know Affinity would go all the way to 0 mana. I assumed it would go all the way down to 1 colorless mana.

Neat.

I like it.

Made a deck just like this, today. Needs major help.

And if you are using Clone, why not use Rite of Replication, it's kicker could win you the game!

I like your deck. The fog/prevent damage method to save you time to get your 4 copies out.

Should I take out Snake Basket, to make it Modern?

What would you suggest? Taking out Mirrorweave?
Leave it and do some sort of Mirrorweave/Timberpack wolf/Angel's Grace/Biovisionary deck.
If I take out Mirrorweave...add what? Infinite Reflection? Cackling Counterpart? Progenitor Mimic?

And If i take out Mirrorweave, will my hex creatures stay?

I would have to play something like Wash Out, on my opponent's creature, then play Mirrorweave.

Or, my opponent's would have to have less than 4 creatures, right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, on this one.

Some decks i know for sure, but this one is throwing me trouble.

Should i take out Cyptoplasm for Cackling Counterpart? Cyptoplasm is more versatile...but Cackling Counterpart is more true to what I am trying to do. But Cyptoplasm can become ANY CREATURE on EVERY TURN.

And with Mirrorweave...I HATE THE IDEA OF HAVING TO RELYING ON AN ENCHANTMENT FOR MY WIN. So, should I add Progenitor Mimic, as a backup plan? If so...what do I take out?

Or, for another win condition, should i consider something like Timberpack Wolf?
Each Timberpack gets +1/+1 for each Timberpack Wolf in play. If i make all my creatures, using Cyptoplasm/Mirrorweave/Cytoshape, Wolfs...that is massive damage potential. And If i could find room for Timberpack Wolf, wouldn't Cyptoplasm work better than a Cackling Counterpart?

Help!

Check it out.

Should I add something like Memnite/Ornithopter to feed Mirrorweave and Cytoshape?

Help out, please.

New question, for you Kazzong, the lawyer.

I have Biovisionary in the game. I have 5 creatures. My opponent has 6 creatures. Or I have 4 creatures and my opponent has 5 or 6 creatures in play.

I play Mirror Weave on the 4th turn. I target Biovisionary. Now my 4 creatures are all copies of Biovisionary.
Biovisionary states that at the beginning of the end state, if you control 4 or more copies of Biovisionary, you win the game.

My question is...if my opponent has 5/6 copies of Biovisionary too. Do i still win? Is it a draw?

Would replacing something like Cyptoshape to a free Memnite/Ornithopter...would that make the deck faster?

ike this:

Turn 1. Play Slippery Bogle and free Memnite.
Turn 2. Sylvan Caryatid.
Turn 3. Biovisionary.
Turn. 4. Mirrorweave.

Since I played the free Memnite, it gave me the 4th copy of Biovisionary to win the game.

It could work. But sure if adding something like Memnite makes it faster...BUT MUCH LESS consistent.

But joking aside, what do you think of it, magicmaster13? You make solid decks, i know that.

You see the basic idea. Win with copying Biovisionary. I have Impulse/Drift of Phantasms to draw him. I have Clout of the Dominus to protect him. I have Slippery Bogle and Sylvan Caryatid, with hexproof, hard to kill creatures that are ready to be copied. Cyptoplasm and Phantasmal Image that love to be copies of Biovisionary.
And Mirrorweave, to turn my little Boglle and Caryatid into Biovisionaries. Cytoshape as a back up to change Slippery Bogle/Cryptoplams/Sylvan Caryatid into Biovisionary.

Wash Out and Temporal Spring for removing threats.

lmao. She wants to learn how to play, has for over a year. I do not have the patience to teach her.
But no, this would be too complicated for her to start out with.

The "weave" part is from MirrorWeave. lol.

I thought I was clever.

Yep. Like this. You play stuff like Funeral Charm, Blackmail, Hymn to Tourach, Cabal Therapy.
Plus your opponent is going to be playing his own stuff like Lands/creatures/artifacts.

So...by the 4th or 5th turn...when you are finally able to play Mind Twist...your opponent should already be out of cards anyways. So really, Mind Twist is ONLY GOOD LIKE ON THE SECOND OR THIRD TURN, WITH A DARK RITUAL.

If it isn't the second or third turn, and you don't have dark ritual...then Mind Twist sucks.

It is easier, and faster to make your opponent discard with cheaper spells.
For example. To make your opponent discard 2 cards with Mind Twist, you have to pay 3 black mana, right? Hymn to Tourach does it for 1 mana less. So does Chain of Smog.
To make your opponent discard 1 card with Mind Twist, you have to play 2 black mana, right? Duress, Cabal Therapy, Black Mail, Funeral Charm all do that for 1 mana less.

It is too slow. It was the bomb when it first came out and there wasn't many discard cards. Now there are dozens to choose from, that are faster than Mind Twist.

Not to preach, but with discard decks, that faster they are, the better chance that have at not allowing your opponent to play stuff in his hand.

Have two new decks I am working on. A snake deck. I own two snakes as pets...and figured i owed it to them to make a Snake deck.

And just seen Biovisionary. It looks fun. So, making a deck with it. Check them out later.

1st turn. Play Mountain. Play Lightning bolt for 3 damage.
2nd turn. Play Swamp. Liliana's Caress.
3rd turn. Play Swamp. Hymn to Tourach and Burning Inquiry for 10 damage.
4th turn. Play Mountain. Play Dark Ritual for 3 mana. tap 4 mana to play Ill-Gotten Gains. (let us say your opponent had 2 card in his hand, so he takes 4 damage). You get 3 cards from your graveyard: you pick Burning Inquiry and Lighting Bolt.
You have 2 mana left, you play Burning Inquiry and Lighting bolt. 13 damage.

Total damage by Turn 4.
30 damage.

Post it here.

Decks like these are fun. You don't always win...but the games you do win are usually fun.

Yes. It rocks. Highly rated. But it is slow. Like i said, I bought 4 of them, thinking they were awesome. Got my butt handed to me, over and over. They are too slow.
