Okay. Next chapter in tourney is over. Angels vs Faeries. Now all decks have played one time each.Angels vs. Faeries. Turn 4 had everyone tied up/canceled. Between blue's Spellstutter, Counterspells, and Vendilion Clique AND whites Spirit Links and Swords to Plowshares, no one had nothing on the board, much to show. Besides white having a 2nd turn Luminarch Ascension, both decks were top decking on turn 5.Difference was that Luminarch Ascension. It ended up putting 4 4/4 flyers onto the field. That sealed the deal. It was too fast for the top decking Faerie deck. Angels vs Faeries1-0Angels 16 life and Faeries 0 life.P.S. Thanks for the Luminarch Ascension advice, Puschkin!
Yep. Add his best friend, Morphling. I struggle to decide which one is the best. I will tell you this, back in the day that Morphling was new, it was a 20 dollar card and everyone thought it was the best blue creature ever made.
This deck hurts my head with all of the combos! I bet every game is different. And that is fun!I like it.
That is what I have been trying to aim at, of late, simple and effective. I have made a deck with Mirror Entity. And with Concerted Efforts. They are complicated...but I have been trying to get back to basics. I will check it out, for sure.
It would be awesome. I have cards that I have a dozen or so copies of. Just sitting and collecting dust. I will check it out.
This is random as hell. But you guys seem both experienced here, and with a lot of posts. I checked out Essential Magic...and it looked to suck. Friend told me about it. I have thousands of cards I never used. Not anything major! Nothing over 30 dollars or more. I do sale, for store credit, to a company. But thing is with them, they only want very few cards at a time. Is there anywhere you guys know that actually trades cards? And is reliable?
Yes. Thinking the same. That, and this deck is broken :)
Yes, it was more hypothetical. When we first started, my friends and I, we did so many things wrong (unknowingly), and I remember that was one of them. Protecting creatures with Mother of Runes...even against stuff that didn't target anything. lol
One up for you mad nerd skills!
Ouch...truth. I love your knowledge with "Specific terms." You have taught me more than just 1 or 2 rules. So, Lifelink over Spirit Link?
I learned something :)
I started right around the time Mirage/Tempest block was going out. Urza's Saga was just coming out. So...there was like 5 poison cards in existence. Wasn't even called "infect" then. This deck was what I made when I discovered there was dozens of Infect cards.
I remember...sort sort of Venom card too....I just recently started playing again...within the last year and a half.
I remember Leeches. Marsh Viper. Pit Scorpion. Sabertooth Cobra. I guess there was a few, actually.
When I played Magic...there was only 2 cards. :)
Now, off to make a Flying deck. Just finished Haste. And Trample.
Stop hating and like this deck. This deck, as is, is 2-0. When I start losing with it, I will go from there. :)
Brutal stuff.
http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/concerted-effort/Just made this one minute ago. Started as flying white deck. Since I made a haste deck. And trample deck. So...started with flying deck. But saw Concerted Effort...and got an idea.It needs HUGE AMOUNTS of work...mainly because it started out with flying and changed. But main idea is to have a creature with first strike, another with protection, another with flying, another with trample, another with vigilance. Then Cast Concerted Effort, and all the creatures gain all of that stuff.
