This is my budget mono green tron deck: (tron = all 3 Urza's)https://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/semibudget-mono-g-tron/(ones was 99$ dunno why is getting more and more expensive each time I look)Eldrazi Tron is a real tier deck in modern but with 700ยง is tiny bit expensive: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/923086#paperBut you said casual is fine anyways.Sadly Eye of Ugin is banned in modern:https://magic.wizards.com/en/game-info/gameplay/rules-and-formats/banned-restrictedIn general try not to go overboard with to expensive cards and try to think of a gameplan. Turn 1 this, turn 2 that...Reality Smasher will end the game really fast. Put an Eldrazi Conscription on him and the game is over at 8 mana. Meaning the value of Pathrazer of Ulamog goes down really fast if you already one....Back to the game-plan problem, Eldrazi basically have 2 ways of playing and I woundnt mix them that much.Ramp: Expedition Map into Mind Stone ... Hedron Archive ... Oblivion Sower ... UlamogOrAggro: Eldrazi Mimic ... Matter Reshaper ... Thought-Knot Seer ... Reality SmasherAlso Eldrazi have some nice exile synergies Blight Herder, Thought-Knot Seer, Oblivion Sower... throw in some Relic of Progenitus and that can be a reasonably idea too.Is Skittering Invasion a playable card? Never seen it used but would ramp you from 7 mana straight into 12 mana range...

Green Stompy well most cards have been proven good in this deck.Leatherback Baloth will be replaced by Steel Leaf Champion as soon as he is legal (https://www.mtgsalvation.com/cards/dominaria/34220-steel-leaf-champion)Try some Vines of Vastwood at least in the sideboard.Experiment One is a really fast growing one drop.Besides those minor points, its a decent deck. Have fun
Hi there. I guess you like Vampires!? Are those cards those which you had in your collection? This deck seems really scattered. Try to limit yourself to 60 cards and rather play multiples of the good ones.I made a Budget B/R Vampire deck (before Ixalan ) https://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/budget-vampire/Its madness based, if you dont like that, at least look at "Stromkirk Captain"Vampire Nocturnus is the best Vampire loard but probably to expensive. Also I noticed you barely have Vampire support in your Deck. Bishop of the Bloodstained and Stensia Banquet seem to be the only decent vampires that care about the tribe.Nevertheless vampires are fun '*,-,*'
Hi there and welcome to the world of Magic :)The basic of your deck is clear. Play a creature which profits from playing a lot of spells and win that way. That is good enough to start playing is a small play group and see what works and what does not..._______If you can't or don't want to play-test it yet, let me spoil you a bit ahead._______Think of the best ideal scenario you want to have for winning. As for now Turn1 Rift Bold, T2 Goblin Electromancer T3 Enigma Drake (1/4) T4 Talrand, Sky Summoner. T5 get some tokens T6 attack. This slightly approves if you play T2 Young Pyromancer but then you can't play as many spells. In both scenarios you don't have a creature you want to block with except your dragon until turn 5 or maybe some Pyromancer Tokens. Most decks probably have overrun you by that time. Also the 2nd Effect of Sift Through Sands will very very rarely come up. And if it does The Unspeakable is killed by a simple Doom Blade and you still haven't achieved anything. Then you start to notice that all your Instance do literally nothing on their own. They replace themselves by drawing a new card but that's it. Also you might wish for some more early game interaction.>>> This is not meant to hurt you, but I think that will be your conclusion. <<<_______Lastly, I try to guide you in some directions but the final deck building is up to you and part of the fun of Magic :P Goblin Electromancer is an all-star 4x. Please. 4x a legendary like Talrand, Sky Summoner is a bit risky._______Creatures:Kiln Fiend is powerful for his mana cost.Stormchaser Mage is very fast with flying+hasteBedlam Reveler can renew your hand.Thing in the Ice (too expensive?)Better removal.1Mana: Lightning Bolt (too expensive?), Flame Slash, Forked Bolt, Magma Spray2Mana: Incinerate, Incendiary Flow, Roast...Maybe asymmetrical board clears: Earthquake, FirespoutProtection for your fragile creatures:Spell Pierce, Stubborn Denial, Izzet Charm, Mana Leak, Negate...Better self replacing cards ("cantrips")Expedite, Slip Through Space, Opt, Peek, QuickenReal draw cards:Chart a Course, Divination, ConcentrateAlso if you play counter spells, you might want to cast instant creatures removal and instant card draw to have all options...Hieroglyphic Illumination, Glimmer of Genius, Catalog...____I hope that was not to much information to you :/HAVE FUN
Like the deck a lot. Sweet brew.Wild Nacatl should be an upgrade to Vampire Lacerator even if you cant find room for a Plains Shock land. Also your mana base looks a bit weird. 250$ is way more than the creature base. On the other hand if budget is no concern why not more fetches (and fatal push as your removal)?
Your welcome :)I think with Attune you can cut some lands. A playtest will show how much.Repel the Abominable is for human decks as it makes them win in combat. For "fog" effects something like Druid's Deliverance is a pure upgrade. 50$ is my budget brew limit. So that's the list im working on:http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/cat-scratch-fever/
1st. Why make it Vintage?Brimaz, King of Oreskos fits your cat/token plan.Ajani's Sunstriker could work with Ajani's Pridemate.Something as simple as Attune with Aether could fix your mana, while also fueling Aetherstream Leopard.Longtusk Cub is another energy cat.For non creature spells something to protect your cats or kills your opponent creatures probably is the best.Rootborn Defenses? Dromoka's Command and Selesnya Charm have great utility and would be my favorite choices. Devouring Light or Journey to Nowhere ect. for budget removal.Descendants' Path could be a fun way to tutor for cats.Obelisk of Urd or such cards can be a booster
A land destruction deck :) Its a sweet combo you got there.Guess your playing on a budget.Still Rampant Growth can be replaced by Sakura-Tribe Elder who is at least a blocker. Acidic Slime is a land destruction creature.Dont think you need Inferno Titan, also is Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer in the deck to protect your Platinum Angel? It could also be an idea to play creatures like Tin Street Hooligan or Manglehorn?!
Winning with Assault Strobe is risky. Kiln Fiend does die to removal. Temur Battle Rage is a better option than needing Artful Dodge.Searing Blaze/Searing Blood should do the job of cleaning the path for attacking. That why I don't like the Elementals.Turn 2 Kiln Fiend into Turn 3 Searing Blaze and Lightning Bolt = 13damage without the need of any risky combo...
I do agree with rhkrs1. More consistent threats is what even mono red burn needs.Do like Monastery Swiftspear and Kiln Fiend. Ash Zealot is also one of my personal favorites.
After seeing you post count, I noticed you seem to have experience. Therefore you must be creating this deck for someone else who is a beginner to bring him closer to mtg?! That changes to perspective of the deck a lot. e.g. I tried to find a better common draw card then Divination. But Divination is just that simple...
Very kind of you :) Thanks again for the suggestion.
Wow how did you dig up this deck?! Dont like the Blade. You are probably right about Vampire Nocturnus thought. Swapped the 2 from the side/ideaboard with oliva from the maindeck
Oh I love budget Izzet :)Did I miss your rare card?Is flying worth the one extra mana of Sage Owl compared to Sage of Epityr?Augur of Bolas probably does a better job anyways.3 Lava Axe seem a bit much. I assume they tend to stuck in hand. With Guttersnipe, Young Pyromancer and Enigma Drake you seem to want to play as much cards as possible. Some Enigma Drakmight be useful. Thought Scour and Serum Visions both are commons but probably to expensive. Maybe simply Peek?Stream of Unconsciousness would be a bit funny. (Goblin Electromancer is a Wizzard, so is Sage of Epityr and Augur of Bolas)Baral, Chief of Compliance fits too (but would be your rare)Kiln Fiend is a really strong attacker in case you want to go more aggressive.
I do think mono-black is the best way to build right now. In Oketra's Name is highly situational, so is Time to Reflect.Binding Mummy is okay but the only good white Zombie for me is: Wayward Servant. But that one creature should not be worth playing another color. As mentioned before try Plague Belcher if you find room for him. Read the Bones is direct upgrade to Painful Lesson. Not sure if either of them is needed. Vs. aggressive decks you take your turn 3 off to draw two and take two?! Vs. controll matchups drawing one extra doesnt seem worth it. Midnight Oil could give you a more lasting card draw and you don't play instant spells to keep in hand anyways.Dark Salvation seems to be fun. Early game its {B}: target creature gets -X/-X where X is the number of Zombies you control. Lategame it becomes a mass token production...
Thank you very much for your advices. I am playing modern, therefore Dragonspeaker Shaman can't be played. I really considered Slumbering Dragon as its a very cheap dragon. What would you cut for him?
I see you are still brewing.Made a little fun deck a while ago.Maybe it helps you finding inspiration :)http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/w-legends/
Glad you like your deck. That's the most important thing. Crypt Ghast is great. Another card that came into my mind is "Extraplanar Lens". Works great in mono-basic land decks. If your opponents play swamps too you might want to swap to snow-covered swamps as an alternative.
hmm "Drana, Liberator of Malakir" , "Kalastria Highborn" or "Captivating Vampire" probably are too expensive for you too. I do like "Asylum Visitor" for his card draw potential but he kinda forces you to use discard like "Stromkirk Condemned". The latest set has 2 aetherborn vampires: "Gifted Aetherborn" is the new Nighthawk. "Yahenni, Undying Partisan" has haste and could get big, depending on the number of removal spells you use (still probably weak compared to other cards)
