I'm trying it like this at the moment:
http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/budget-modern-squee-pox/

Not sure how many gravecrawlers this deck actually needs.
I would also like to see a non budget version - 3 color - including loam.
How is Spreading Algae working?

In your V2 you could Squee and Zombie Infestation. Bad experiences with that combo?

And yet you included a Stinkweed Imp :P
You cut Fiery Temper though. They seemed to blend in with all your self discarding very well.

Your 3color jund-loam-pox-v2 looks nice too. Aw some many variants
loam-pox-if-only seems expensive beyond reason.
Loam pox seems logical, but I miss Squee to much

In squee-pox-v2 Nihilistic Glee seems slow. Might replace it with another Vampiric Rites
I totally missed that card in BFZ. Should include it in some Zombie Decks...

Most other versions are just messing with the numbers of certain cards.
Mono Black seems the most budget friendly wonder if lacking Faithless Looting is to slow!?

I was messing online with Dredgevine myself:

Always trying to improve this deck...

Currently I was working on a more discard oriented build of yours:
http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/dredging-the-mind/
What you think of goin that route?

Oh this deck is genius. Hope you made it yourself.
If been trying to abuse Squees alot... The synergie of unearth Rats and Gravecrawlers *.*
As you did not go the green route, your deck cant include Life from the Loam. That makes Raven's Crime alot worse.
Yes you can Dredge for Dakmor Salvage but that just a 1 for 1 if your opponent still has cards in hand. By the time you have the engine it seems rather unlikely.

I think some other card filtering like Tormenting Voice, Dark Deal or Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded could work instead.
Other possible dredge cards could be Darkblast or Stinkweed Imp. Dredge 5 flying, death-touch is a nice wall.
If your going that way Vengeful Pharaoh seems good too.

Besides those minor ideas this deck is so awsome and yet so budget.

After his block rotated out I don't see a point of keeping it in a "past standart" format

Hi there if you like I'd have some comments on your deck as I like Xenagos alot.

Fanatic of Xenagos is a sweet card. Exept for the devotion besically a better Boartusk Liege. Or maybe include both a cut a bit on high mana curve!?
Xenagos, the Reveler would be the Planeswalker form. Also very powerfull as he mana ramps into costly stuff or creatues duo color tokens for free.

Dragon Broodmother seems a bit slow?! If your looking for a big finisher dragon Atarka, World Render would probalb a better pick.
With Xenagos, God of Revel in play he get haste with 12/10 flying, trample, double strike: game over

Zhur-Taa Swine is a bit odd. A 5/4 for cmc5 barely is on curve and just for pumping creatures there are better spells.
Compare him to e.g. Vines of Vastwood (kicked). Overall I'd drop 1 attack for 1less mana and get hexprove instead...

Spellbreaker Behemoth is above curve and very good vs. counter spells. But maybe more of a sideboard card? Against non-blue deck his is just a huge bear.

Huntmaster of the Fells seems to always provide value. (2x2/2 +2life is already on curve, if he flipps it gets insane) If you have i'd play a 4th.

Stonebrow, Krosan Hero would give almost everyone in your team +2/2. He could be a win-more card and therefore redundant, but maybe u like him.

Last card, and that really caught my attention, is Farseek. Is it that important to pseudo fetch Stomping Ground?

R/G has its own mana dorks in case you want (and should) ramp harder.
Radha, Heir to Keld and Zhur-Taa Druid. If you are afraid of removal Sylvan Caryatid solves that.
A more agressive way is Generator Servant. 5 mana on turn 3 with haste.
Over all the most simple replacement would be Sakura-Tribe Elder. Basically the same but with a body attached to it.

Hope you like some ideas :)

I think your board is vulnerable versus creature removal. Maybe some Vines of Vastwood / Ranger's Guile or Wrap in Vigor could help?

Etched Monstrosity looks big but is just a 5/5 for 5 without any effect!? Wouldn't an artifact, that does something be better?
e.g. Lodestone Golem.
Also if your a playing a colored land based artifact deck, why not include some colored artifacts like Ethersworn Canonist?

I've been looking into Torpor Orb decks, thats why I found yours... :)

This deck is trolling but that’s it.
In Vintage there are so many broken combos, no way you are going to survive multiple turns without doing anything.
Why go the vintage rout anyways? I suggest you stay in Modern.

I guess your doing a budget deck. As mentioned by Puschkin you still need mana fixing.
You just cant wait to draw their lands to play their cards....
Some signets maybe.
If you can afford to play 3 colors Sultai would be sweet:
Green for Manamorphose and land-ramp.
Otherwise Dimir:
Black not for mana ramp (modern...) but
Card draw and hand disruption. You need to discard their enchantment-removal before casting your Shared Fate
Also versus fast decks: mass creature removals will slow them down. Who cares if they blow up your board after deck-switch, they never draw something to do damage, therefore you win eventually...
Blue for the obvious cantrips/card draw.
Some Dispel/Guttural Response in sideboard wouldn't hurt either?!

I mostly play casually with friends (1vs1 or multi-player), rarely in locals. This deck is just for fun, so I try to use cards I have and use my budget for stronger ones...

One Angle (Shepherd) has persist and puts every dying creature back into my hand.
The other one is in there cause I like him :P I is really strong in my opinion but won’t fit in anything but a ramp deck.

Cauldron Haze is a really nice (especially with undying creatures). A Geist can use undying, persist, immediately die and come back with persist again triggering Gutter Grime three times and Elemental Bond twice.
Also Gatecreeper Vine does trigger ones more even if its not useful as a 0/1 wall afterwards.

Regarding your ideas:
Llanowar Elves-like ramps don’t work that well with boards wipes in my opinion. I’ll try to play-test your deck a bit online and see how it works out. Searching and playing extra lands gives me the mana even if my creatures die...

You decided for Plea for Guidance over Idyllic Tutor, i guess I just because Tutor is too expensive money wise?
What do you think of searchable creature removal enchantments like Quarantine Field?

Is Planar Outburst better then Divine Reckoning?
Did you test Heartmender? He seems really nice in the right deck.

Vorapede is a strong woodlouse o.O

I'm playing an even more budget version casually for a while now. But instead of making my creatures indestructable I rather want them to die and abuse "Gutter Grime" combining this with "Elemental Bond" makes me never run out of gas late game.
As you seem to test many version this might give you some inspiration.

Hello, I noticed your cry for help at the "Budget Infinite Mill" page.
Lets try to help you. Hope you are not offended by some comment :P

First 2 general things:
I think you are mixing 2 deck ideas. I don’t see why Elder Dragons belong into a Mill Deck.
My problem with Mill is that it lacks the possibility to interact with the board. You basically do nothing (even help delver/graveyard decks) until your opponent's deck is empty. Therefore your early game is pretty weak. Mixing that with 6 and 8 mana creatures seems odd.

Also 3 color decks do rarely work in budget. Without the fetch and duo lands you just have a problem fixing your mana.

Now towards the Mill part:
I would recommend blue/black maybe along with white.
Cards like Mind Funeral are just awesome. Also black has very good creature (e.g. Go for the Throat/Devour Flesh) hate and hand control (Despise/Duress ...)
If you know his hand, Surgical Extraction removes cards from the milled grave as well as copies from his hand.
Archive Trap is kind of expensive but could mill 13 cards for 0 mana if your opponent uses a fetch land. Together with Path to Exile you would meet that condition while killing a creature.

In addition some stall cards could work nicely with the deck. Out of the top of my head I can only thing of Ensnaring Bridge but that’s too expensive.

Now towards the Dragons.
Playing Dragons is fun. There are many ways to make them viable. One could be a control style by playing counter spells and stopping your opponent from doing anything until you can get them out.
A simple approach could be green mana ramp and play them to early for your opponent to respond.
And the 3rd way is to sneak them onto to battlefield. Descendants' Path together with some tiny dragons or Changelings e.g. Fire-Belly Changeling/Woodland Changeling is a fun way.
Elvish Piper is also commonly abused card. There are many other ways but you get the idea :)

Hope that helped a bit.
Feel free to answer ;)
