2. Maybe in Become Immense's spot, it doesn't grant trample.

Atarka's Command is a must keep for that surprise land drop, but I feel you still need a way to get lands into your hand so that you can drop them. I want to say Nissa's Pilgrimage, but it only fetches basic forests, so maybe Sylvan Scrying? It can fetch any land, including fetch lands, allowing you to get two land drops off of it.

So, back to the drawing board or tweak this? Having play tested it, you should have been able to pinpoint why it was slow. Maybe a mana dork? I'm kind of liking Rattleclaw Mystic (it can tap for two of your colours).
It's spelt Isochron Scepter. While a good card, Elixir of Immortality and Wheel of Sun and Moon with all the draw should keep me well stocked with fogs.Dawn Charm has a counter effect, which can be used on most burn. I may include Riot Control in the sideboard just for burn, as it works nicely with Forbidden Orchard, but at 3 mana, I'm not sure it'd be good main deck. Sadly, Safe Passage is worse than Riot Control in here as it costs 3 and does not interact with anything else.
Glimpse the Unthinkable <- Arguably the best single mill card. Definitely trumps Breaking // Entering.
In a way, while it physically costs 3, because you want to abuse it's ETB effect more than use its Spirit token creation, you'll want to populate the board before playing it, so it's effective slot is higher than 3. Maybe a 5 mana slot? Kinda like how I consider Goblin Bushwhacker to be a 3 drop slot, even though it costs 1 (2 with its kicker), all because I want to maximise its effect.
Have you thought about adding Abzan Ascendancy? With even just 1 Hardened Scales out, it's a 3 mana 2x +1/+1 counters on each creature you control.
With Seething Song banned in Modern, the Battle Hymn after Empty the Warrens was the best replacement I could find for mono red.
Midnight Guard + Presence of Gond is an awesome combo, and my main Pauper deck too. I see you have search and protection for the main combo, and potential duplicate for Midnight Guard (Devoted Druid), but sadly no possible replacement for Presence of Gond. I believe I have found a 'duplicate' for it, though it's more difficult to go infinite with it: Sprout Swarm.Midnight Guard untapps when a creature enters the battlefield; and Devoted Druid can untap itself, but needs assistance to not kill itself (Ivy Lane Denizen / Sigil of the Nayan Gods); so they can easily be used for Sprout Swarm's convoke. Sprout Swarm's buyback can be convoked too, so for every {4}{G} (convokable) you spend, you get a 1/1 Saproling, which can then be used to convoke for the next {4}{G}. Now, another creature I run purely because of Sprout Swarm, is Nettle Sentinel. Because Sprout Swarm is a green spell, Nettle Sentinel untapps every time you cast it. To go infinite with Sprout Swarm, you need 4 creatures that untap themselves and 1 more mana / creature to start it, I like to use Essence / Soul Warden for that 1 extra.
Birds of Paradise might be a better fit than Lay of the Land. Another good card for Lay of the Land's slot is Search for Tomorrow.
I can see Managorger Hydra working well with Harden Scales.
Aggro Gruul landfall is already a thing. It very competitive because of how fast it can deal damage (god hand does something stupid like 11 damage on turn 2). Question is, do you want to do what everyone else is, or do you want to do your own thing?
For standard landfall, there's only one white card that fetches a land: Knight of the White Orchid. And it can only fetch if the opponent has more lands than you, which will probably be never. Converge is a possible reason to add a third colour, but the only white Converge card costs 4 and with 3 colours, you won't get its full effect (it's Unified Front by the way). There are Converge cards will love the extra colour, but Woodland Wanderer isn't one as you'd only get 3 +1/+1 counters from its own effect instead of the possibility of 4 +1/+1 counters. While it doesn't have trample like Woodland Wanderer, Tajuru Stalwart only costs 3, so it can get full effect of its Converge in a 3 colour deck. Radiant Flames is awesome as you get to control how much damage it does (1, 2, or 3) to each creature. Possibly the only reason to add White to a standard landfall themed deck is Retreat to Emeria. But splashing for only one card can mess with your land base. With my reasons to add or not add White out of the way, here's a few suggestions for straight GR:Atarka's Command is awesome, keep all four. Swell of Growth also allows you to drop a land at instant speed. I did a few quickmath equations to check if Animist's Awakening is worth it. Now, what I'm about to say might get me shot, but I'm Ded anyway, so who cares :p In most cases, when you've got enough mana to make the X worthwhile, you're already winning and / or have already fished out a lot of your lands, making iteven less likely to give you lands.Purely because of its casting cost, I suggest keeping Nissa's Renewalat 1x Now onto some land related spells you're not using. Nissa's Pilgrimage is probably the best land search card in standard. Sadly, it can only fetch basic forests, so mountains and any dual lands (it can't search for Cinder Glade). On the plus side, you'll probably be mostly green, so you should have more forests than any other type. Explosive Vegetation is another great land search card. It fetches 2 basic lands and puts them both onto the battlefield. While Wooded Foothills is an automatic inclusion at 4x, the poor-man's version, Evolving Wilds, is ok, but I'd only use it if one can't afford / get hold of Wooded Foothills as it can't fetch Cinder Glade like Wooded Foothills can. Now, I haven't tested them myself, but Blighted Woodland looks interesting as a 1x, maybe 2x. While Snapping Gnarlid is good, Makindi Sliderunner costs the same, just red, has Trample, and 1 less toughness. Both Retreat to Kazandu and Retreat to Valakut have good effects. Zendikar's Roil pops out 2/2 Elementals, which works nicely with Omnath, Locus of Rage's damage trigger.
Zombie Infestation in Seismic Assault's slot eliminates the need for red all together. But if you absolutely must use Seismic Assault, I highly recommend including some dual lands. At 3 solid red mana, it's a little pricy for this deck.
I'd like to hear what you think of my modifications to Dragonstorm for Modern now that Seething Song is banned:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/dragonstorm-modern/Mine was designed to be mono red.
Never mind, I worked it out. Still, using the deck description and how to play features would be great.
Could you please explain how the combo works
Is Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit absolutely necessary? It's the only white card in the main deck.
I run mine in a mono red Dragonstorm deck. 4x Manamorphose and 4x Lotus Bloom help pay for the black if I really need it. Another option is to include a Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or two and if not playing Modern, Dark Ritual could help some, but that's only if you are really worried about casting it, which you shouldn't be.
