Porcelain Legionnaire? 3/1 with first strike on turn 2.Glorious Charge is nice for that last push for damage and to protect from mass burn (like Electrickery)

Timbermare is pretty awesome, really helps for the last push for damage.
Eidolon of the Great Revel has almost become an auto include in burn decks of late and with good reason. Yes it hurts you too, but coupled with your burn spells, you should be doing more damage.
How is this "Budget" at $151.55?
Llanowar Reborn is an idea. Oran Rief may be a better option than Llanowar Reborn, but acquiring Oran Rief at the without ordering it online is a problem.
Try 18 times :|I was still editing when you posted that
If I had, I would
Defiant Strike is nice for a guaranteed draw 1, but I kind of like Warriors' Lesson for the possible multi draw (and it can target 2 creatures).I've only played it once so far (last friday), and I came 5th out of 12. Waiting for the next one to test the modifications.
Thanks for the assist. Now that I'm not using auras, I'm thinking of having God's Willing mainbord with Ajani's Presence sideboard. Also want to work in some Mortal's Ardor for life gain.
Because Phalanx "shares the love", especially nice in decks that have a good number of creatures out.
Ever since I saw it, I thought that Ensoul Artifact would be an awesome addition to Affinity. Turns those small, evasive creatures (Ornithopter / Signal Pest) into threats whenever Cranial Plating it late to the party.
Khalni Heart Expedition would be good in here.Harrow is better than Cultivate in a landfall deck as you get two immediate landfall triggers (just remember to sac a land used to play it).
You just gave me an idea for a Norin the Wary deck. Norin the WaryPurphoros, God of the Forge/Altar of the BroodWhitemane Lion/Jeskai BarricadeCloudshift/Momentary Blink/Restoration Angel/GhostwaySoul Warden/Soul's AttendantAnd so on :p
Turn 1: Forest, Elvish Mystic.Turn 2: land, Setessan OathswornTurn 3: attack with Oathsworn, cast Nature's Panoply on the Oathsworn, let it resolve, cast Solidarity of Heroes on the Oathsworn, let it resolve, Oathsworn deals 11 damage. ^ Has happened more than once, so they stay. I originally ran a strictly white heroic deck. I didn't enjoy it. Solidarity is a big reason I'm running green, Oathsworn is the other. Solidarity doubles after the Heroic trigger from the creature it's targeting. Oathsworn gets 2 counters each time it's targeted, making it the fastest growing heroic this side of the mana curve. If there's any creature I'm talking out, it's Phalanx Leader. Phalanx is a great card, but it doesn't quite fit the 'one big creature' theme I'm going for. (well more like "one, maybe two big creatures")Abzan Battle Priest costs 4 mana to cast. That's a little too much for the speed I'm trying to achieve here. I even dropped Feat of Resistance in favour of Ajani's Presence because of its casting cost (God's Willing is going into the sideboard).
Still Kind of tweaking the deck and trying to figure out was can and cannot be taken out without hurting the deck. Thinking of adding Warriors' Lesson. At one mana, it's targeting 2 creatures, thus causing two heroic triggers and it helps draw cards. Also thinking of putting either my 4 Ordeal of Helliod and / or Battle Mastery back in, they where in before the mod you see here.
Vines of Vastwood work nicely to achieve this. And it doubles as a pump spell :P
Nice that you got all the ramp, but you're not ramping into anything as all your stuff costs 1 or 2. With all your multi coloured Permanents, two creatures you may want to consider are Jund Hackblade and Nayan Hushblade.
They're my main deck choice for Modern. Been building and modifying them since Lorwyn / Shadowmoor was Standard :P
Thanks :D
As much as I hate infect, I might just put a similar deck together for my next Pauper deck :P
